We don’t live far from BOS so decided to drive down for a couple of hours. It was a very cold day so decided just to have some lunch then head home :-))) We noticed this little cafe and decided to pop in, there was a table right next to the window/door so we went to the back of the restaurant for some warmth, sadly the staff kept leaving the door at the back open even when my husband kept going and closing it. But apart from that hiccup the food was very nice, and I would return but when the weathers warmer :-))))

We stumbled upon this delightful cafe and struck gold by the service from Linda, Karen and Susan . They were so helpful with local information. We initially went in for tea and coffee but soon we found ourselves ordering top class smoothies and milkshakes. The only downside is that we were only in Burnham on sea for the day and were sorry we could not sample their home made food which looked delicious.

Cafe Aroma recently provided the catering for the 'wake' following a funeral. Anna was really helpful from the outset, helping us to plan what was required. The food she provided was absolutely delicious, the service provided was first class and I would highly recommend her catering service to anyone.

We had a really nice visit to this cafe. It’s small but that’s no reflection on the service and food. The lovely lady was very accommodating to our (many) needs and couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back 😊

a haunt for some of the elderly, a menu that is a bit bland, prices that aren't arm-twisters, but you can pick what you want on your sandwich or baguette. It isn't so bad, but exciting it is not.

This place isn’t horribly bad, but it certainly doesn’t warrant more than 2 stars. Firstly, the floor around our table was filthy and the fly strip was full - not nice to look at during lunch. Secondly, one of the ladies that served us obviously didn’t want to be there; she got my order wrong and was abrupt which came off quite rude. Thirdly, the ‘fresh organic soup’ I ordered was very clearly tinned Heinz. Overall a disappointing experience, we won’t be back.

Cafe Aroma is a lovely little cafe in Burnham. Being local we visit occassionally, it can get busy at peak time so we tend to go it for morning coffee or afternoon tea. Lovely cakes. Great fresh salad bar with lots of choice.

On holiday in Burnham. We had a wonder and came across this little cafe. There are lots of homemade cakes to choose from. We chose a cream tea, ordered and w are served within 5 minutes. The scones were warm but not hot, the taste was stunning. This cafe was very busy and when one table emptied it was soon occupied. A real gem.

We came across this cafe and were glad we did! It proved ideal for a light lunch, with a good choice of menu items at reasonable prices. Busy when we arrived but the two waitresses managed very well. Our meals were good - even the beans on toast came with a salad garnish - and instead of deserts there was a wonderful range of homemade cakes. Will definitely visit again.

This small but tidy cafe is located one road off the main High Street and has a menu in the window (very handy), is well-priced and menus on each table, which are clear to read whilst comprehensive. The walls are clean and tiday, the front window not cluttered with tat and the interior decor pleasant on the eye. the floor is of tiling. My baked ploughman's lunch was quickly and cheerfully served, contained a bulk of garnishes and salad and filled what was a large plate. Despite it being rather small there are ten tables inside and room to manoevre.

Every time I visit Burnham, which is my home, I call in at Cafe Aroma with my Mum who is a regular. There is such a lovely atmosphere. Many of the customers in the morning are regulars but if you aren't you will be welcomed just the same. They serve very good coffee always with a biscuit on the side. It is also a popular lunchtime place with a good range of sandwiches and light bites.Definitely somewhere I would recommend if you are in Burnham. It is just off the High Street so very convenient.

Although I live in this town I rarely go into local cafes as I leave that to the tourists. I was recommended this place , so I took my wife there after a walk to town. The place was small but welcoming with only a couple of staff, one of which I believe is the owner and it shows. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh and there were a lot of home made cakes which also looked delicious. You could tell that great care was taken with the food and the preparation. The chicken wraps I had were lovely and the dressing was amazing. It is down a side street off the High Street but hunt it out and you wont be disappointed.Staff very friendly too. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely cafe, great service and amazing sandwiches made with proper bakery bread! Delicious homemade cakes too. This is a town that has a great many cafes and eating places in general, but I must say they are mostly rubbish now. I'm not aware of anywhere else serving really good cafe food, especially where you can happily sit without worrying if your tetanus jab is up to date. My advice would be to go for a chicken or tuna sandwich, which are both better than if you made them yourself (this is, after all, the test of a really good sandwich!) and then treat yourself to some lemon drizzle cake or a good old fashioned slice of Victoria sponge. It seems popular with locals; another good sign in my book. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, excellent prices and as I was leaving I spotted a fresh batch of cheese scones...what's not to love?!

Went with my husband and daughter, on more than one occasion to this little café A true Gem, staff are always very helpful and cheerful, The cakes are amazing, I have tried to resist but find them too tempting, and unlike some cakes that look lovely but taste is disappointing, these are gorgeous in looks and taste, last time myself and daughter tried the courgette and lime, while my husband had coffee and walnut, both were very tasty, along with an unusual but delicious Mumbai chai, highly recommended. All in all a very nice eating experience with the backdrop of surrounding woodland, and stream that runs past.

Started well, went down hill not because of food but treatment by very aggressive, intimidating landlord ! We had booked, on entering pub went to bar to buy drinksWe were greeted by a very nice lady behind bar,she asked if we would mind eating in the adjacent room as they were busy. She said she would come and get our order for food and drinks. We walked through corridor full of junk and toilet rolls into other room. This room used to be a nice dining room but now houses tv inside fireplace, numerous notices on walls and a lift that looks like a shower in corner.I imagine this room was not normally used.We did not mind sitting in there, looking forward to food.Lady came and took our orders and brought drinks .We were quite happy and were bemused when landlord entered and seemed quite unhappy that he had to serve us. He demanded to know if we were really hungry and wanted starters ,saying aggressively, most people don't as they would not eat mains. We assured him that yes we did want them.He then said nastily that if that was the case it would take an hour and half for food.We said politely that we did not mind waiting. He then said condiments were in the bar. At this point we were sort of amused by him being so rude ,likening him to Basil Faulty. Absolutely bizarre ! Starters actually came in 30mins ,everything fine.He delivered food, ribeye steaks 20 mins later. All cooked to perfection ,one of our party asked where in the bar the condiments were He replied aggressively again,"they are in the bar where I told you 20 minutes ago !! .OBVIOUSLY it does not register with SOME people !!! " The lady came and asked us if everything was OK and asked if we wanted drinks. We said yes and even complimented her on how nice steaks were. We asked him shall we pay in bar and he said aggressively again "Yes and most NORMAL people order drinks at the bar "He then left the pub. This to me was the last straw ! Up till then we just laughed it off .We are NORMAL people who actually live just down the road ! We were asked to NOT order at the bar but what is his problem besides being a rude, nasty bully.None of this was an attempt at humour. I have NEVER encountered behavior like it,let alone by someone who is suppose to be serving you and taking nearly £90 of your money. I have been told since by locals that he is like this ! I feel sorry for the lovely lady working there. Needless to say we will not be back
