Little gem in the middle of the countryside.....food is amazing.

Always great, fresh home cooked food here. A good menu selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, burgers and a specials menu. Nice coffee too and service always friendly. Lovely to sit outside on a sunny day and look out over the cricket pitch. A lovely community cafe spot!

Always consistent with great home cooked food and good service but now that it’s cold weather and the doors are closed it was quite uncomfortable sitting in a humid room amongst strong cooking smells Please open some windows or sort extracting the cooking smells as our clothes really smelt and we had to go home and change . It’s such a shame as it’s a lovely place to meet and eat .

The food here is amazing, great value for money & with stunning views across the cricket green in a picturesque village. Lovely family friendly atmosphere & dogs welcome. Pop up nights recently including pizza, Mexican night & Indian street food were fantastic- would highly recommend a visit 🙂

The food here is outstanding, we are regulars for breakfast or brunch and its an absolute delight every time. Lovely outlook onto village cricket pitch

Love it here -but on this occasion.. We regularly eat here and have recommended so many friends as it’s right on our doorstep BUT our son ordered avocado on toast and the egg was missing - it may have been that it wasn’t ordered but he asked if he could have two poached eggs .They weren’t forthcoming due to other orders , so no eggs received Come On - you deliver lovely food at a fair price - just focus on repeat customer service- would you loose regular customers for the sake of poaching two eggs !!?? We will come again But at the same time disappointed .

Really good food and service. Easy parking. Can sit inside or out. We had the breakfast sandwich which was delicious. Particularly polite and efficient service. Will come again.
