Absolutely top notch! We visited to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t fault a thing. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food! Highly recommend! Thank you for making my birthday celebration such a lovely one!

Great atmosphere in this " heart of the village "pub where a warm welcome awaits locals and visitors alike . Wonderful Sunday roast and good ale and range of wines and spirits , with 00 options available for drivers too.

Welcoming inn with a menu full of choice including lots for veggies and vegans. Comfortable eating area at rear of the public bar. Even got a brief explanation of how the town's famous tar barrel runs are organised!

Our second visit with our border terrier Ted, made to very welcome on both occasions by the the attentive but not intrusive staff, on the first visit I had the lovely large breakfast which was super tasty, on our second visit we hike 5 and a half miles from Honiton and I was hoping to have another breakfast to fuel the hike home but were a bit late for breakfast service, my disappointment didn't last long though, our lovely server Lily suggested the creamy mushrooms on sourdough and what a cracking dish it was!! Lovely creamy mushrooms piled high the portions are definitely not skimpy!! Ted was made very welcome to and enjoyed some treats from Hayley, another great visit, we'll definitely be returning!!

A good caring space with books, cards and excellent food/drink at reasonable prices. Such a pity that there is not enough resources (volunteers and cash) to keep it open.

This charming little cafe offers an incredible variety of flavours, from classic favourites to unique creations. Every scoop is smooth, fresh, and absolutely delightful.

Stopped in on the way to East Devon. Nice Sunday Lunch, good food and good service. We were early on a cold day so the pub was a bit chilly initially but soon warmed as people began arriving. We will certainly pop in again if and when we are in the area.

The quality of food here is far superior to any other cafe I have visited. Particularly for breakfast. This makes it exceptional value. Attentive staff too. Very popular and accommodating, needs booking in season.

Visited today with my elderly mother with very specific requirements on colour and style. Staff were extremely helpful and it felt like most of the ladies wear team were looking after us. Thank you so much

Stopped in here for some food whilst on holiday. Chose two of the movie related burgers, and was delighted. Excellent service from all, and the movie posters around were a great touch. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
