Called in mid morning for drinks and cakes, very friendly meet and greet, wide selection of cakes and the ones we ate were all very tasty and large portions, excellent coffee, very reasonably priced. Many thanks, we will revisit

Cosy house but a little too cosy as the ceilings are very low. Room was clean and comfortable but really small . We could nt pass each other with ease. Had a great sleep though the room was facing the busy road . Quite sound proof. The house may not suit someone with mobility or gait issues as its so old ( traditional) the floors are quite uneven and the stairs could be difficult to climb. Caution needed . Breakfast is so so. Coffee was nice . A better quality bread would be good. Garden is beautiful .

If you want a lovely snack or meal, this is the place to come, sat by the lovely harbour. Crab sandwiches are absolutely lovely and filling served with salad and crisps. Other food looked really good. The cafe now has a new name Harbour Cafe. Staff great and friendly. We will definitely be back

Recently hired out the venue for a private function. Amy and Kirsty were brilliant from start to finish, accomodating requests and making the whole experience an ease. On the night, the food, service and venue were brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone on using this venue.

Such an amazing place to visit! After seeing all the lovely donkeys we had a super lunch. A busy cafe yet the queue soon went down, served by friendly staff. We ordered Pepperoni pizza and wow ! Open prawn sandwich and homemade fish cakes which I can highly recommend. To drink we had chocolate milkshake with cream and flake the best milkshake ever and coffee with hearts on, followed by a Devon cream tea with delightful scones. We just had to buy some to have tomorrow on our journey, we asked were they local and told delivered daily from Seaton a few miles away !!!

Delicious 😋 ice cream! Great quality and tasty 😋 highly recommended!! Nice and generous staff!!! (Favourite flavour yoghurt mango)

Excellent family Sunday dinner.

I came here with three friends on bikes, a little bedraggled after riding from Bristol. Once we’d worked out what to do with our bikes (thanks to a friendly local) we were treated to a lovely meal and a delicious selection of ales. Everyone seemed happy, families, staff, us, darts players, locals propping up the bar. Long live proper pubs like this one!

What a lovely place to come and have a meal! The food is delicious, local and sustainable. The wood fire adds a rustic feel and the views of the fields are lovely. I’d definitely come here again.

We try to call in every time we’re in Devon as it’s easily the best coffee for miles around. The food is a delight - always freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The service is top notch by a knowledgeable and friendly team who really know their coffee and loose leaf tea. Clearly a popular place with locals and returning visitors. I always buy a few gifts here for friends who love the more unusual teas. Easy parking and dog friendly, too!

A good caring space with books, cards and excellent food/drink at reasonable prices. Such a pity that there is not enough resources (volunteers and cash) to keep it open.

Interesting old pub, refurbished to a high standard, with friendly staff & superb food. The homemade scotch eggs are highly recommended but the menu provides a variety of seasonal dishes and irresistible desserts - including a panna cotta with rhubarb.

This is simply our favourite pub...I have lost count how many times we have been here and we don't even live close! We travel from Sussex several times a year, a good 3 hour drive and the Masons Arms is a MUST for us each and every time! We have since bought many family and friends here too. Always a great menu and great service. My 12 year old daughter is a huge fan of your padron peppers and chorizo bites! This is the epitome of a quaint English village pub with all the character you would expect and we absolutely love it. Hopefully we'll be back in August next. (Ps If you could bring back your epic ploughman's youd get 6*!!)
