What a great place Cirencester is made even better by Rave Coffee, love their beans and did hear from some the cafe staff were not the friendliest well my experience was different to those few people, exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend a visit

Came for Mothers day treat, rang up week before to book a table and told to get there early which we did. My daughter has a disability and feeding tube of which she was attached to her pump, we were told we could not sit in restaurant, no one in it but all tables booked out. We sat outside and it was cold, my daughter suffered. No one had sat at any of the tables in the half hour we were there for breakfast, the cafe was empty, not a good way to treat someone with a disability, very unkind. The pancakes did not taste freshly cooked either, so very sad.

This venue was specifically sought out by my son who was treating us to lunch due to type of foods & drinks available. Well, how disappointed were we all!? I’m not even sure the person taking the order listened fully as some of the coffees were cold and appeared to be small when large was ordered. Two of the four sandwiches were sent back to be corrected as they had come in the wrong bread/roll. When they did arrive, half of the fillings were missing and the remainder were not appetising at all. When asked where the other filling was (chickpeas), we were told “we’ve run out of them”! Not an issue if stock has run out, but tell the customer, so they know and can choose something else - don’t just serve it only with what ever parts of the filling you have left: £10.50 for a bread roll with hummous and a couple of salad leaves is disgusting! Two of the other sandwiches were burnt and partially inedible. £50 for four people is never, ever worth it. Worse lunch ever and we will never return or recommend eating here!

This pub had a lovely, friendly feel. There were lots of excellent ales available. I liked the book shelf where you could browse a book for a bit. I went on a Tuesday evening but saw that they had live music on a Saturday and from a local band.

We usually love this café but this morning (Sunday August 25) was disappointing. The coffee was very good but we had to wait about half an hour for it was very unsatisfactory especially as the cafe was not particularly busy. Also, while we used the displayed password, the WiFi was not working.

A quaint, interesting facade and inside is as enchanting.Upon entering there were three members of staff loitering no eye contact and in fact served another before us even though we were clearly waiting, it is unclear where to get service from, however once you have established and engaged with the staff they are efficient and friendly. The coffee is amazing, strong, hot and flavoursome, we had some cake too looks homemade, unclear whether it was but also very delicious, vegan options available. We had pottered around Cirencester and were looking to spend money in a local non chain coffee shop and were pleased we stopped by.

Seems to have taken a nosedive in terms of service and quality. This used to be a great place to come and relax but not anymore.I understand it's been bought out ( franchise). My latest and last experience...The coffee was awful. Lots of young male staff just hanging around behind the service area, stale cakes. Won't be going back again.

Fresh food, great service, child friendly too, what more could you want from a restaurant serving Sunday Lunch. We've just come back from Sunday Lunch at Roots + Seeds in Cirencester. Crispy beer batter on the fish, really chunky chips (not fries) silky smooth mushy peas pretty much a perfect combination. The young front of house team have been well trained to make everyone feel welcome too.
