Centrally located this is a quaint cafe clearly popular with locals and visitors to Cirencester alike. There was a good choice of snacks and cakes and a fine range of drinks, including teas and coffees. The soups were very good, as were some of the sandwiches but in contrast the portion size of the melt we had and with hardly any filling was very poor by comparison. The rustic charm of school like beakers and enamel mugs and plates was thought provoking and took us back to earlier days in our lives. Overall an interesting and atmospheric experience.

Great shop in fact in my opinion best coffee in the country , I admit to being a coffee snob and love Lynwood’s Great coffee food and really friendly service, the manager I chatted with is a lovely guy, we came back three times and tried the shops in Burford and Carterton, all equally as good but Cirencester is our favourite 👍🏻

Best coffee so far in the UK! Great little spot near the Abbey with good food and a great vibe. Aussie cafe culture comes to the Cotswolds!

If all their branches and people are like this one I will look for them in other town. Staff very friendly and happy for early morning. Good amount of seating though not good for disabled as up or down short amount of stairs. The scrambled eggs were just right as was the accompanying toast. Good 2 cups of tea in the pot.

Very good coffee but unnecessary time waiting for a take a way when the staff man is talking to a customer...special for people that make a break at their job to grab a coffee.

Walking around Cirencester looking for a light lunch when we stopped here. Lots to choose from and we had avocado feta and mushrooms on sour dough it was delicious just what we needed Very busy but happy to wait because the food was all freshly prepared and worth a wait Staff work so hard up and down some very steep stairs to where we were seated Tap water available to help yourself which I think is a great touch

On a short visit to Cirencester I tried three cafes: one good, two not so good. This was the good one. I received a friendly greeting when I arrived and my flat white was excellent - just as I like it.

Popped in here for a coffee having never previously visited Cirencester, so pre thoughts on where to go. The shop is really well presented and the staff welcoming. Great coffee in comfortable and relaxed surroundings and no rush to move on. Bravo!

Love this cafe. Great location in the town. Nice seating areas inside and out. You can purchase a small selection of breads and drinks too and do take away. Staff have always been polite and nice. For a treat, try their scrambled eggs and sausage on sour dough toast.

Dropped in for a cappuccino. Good quality coffee, friendly and efficient staff, nice atmosphere. Cappuccino was small but very strong, so I wouldn't have wanted more. I like strong coffee, but I think I met my match here! Food offering looked delicious.

I saw the gorgeous looking sourdough in the window as I was passing. I had intended to get it from somewhere else, but it looked too good to pass up and I wasn't wrong. It's probably one of the best sourdough breads I’ve ever tasted. It was moist and smooth but still had the great grain texture. It was so good that it went in a few days, but it was as good on day 3 as day 1. Even though I didn't use it, the cafe was busy and had a nice vibe to it. The service was relatively quick, what I really liked was that the staff paid attention no matter what was ordered or bought. I'd definitely go back again.

We only called in for a cup of coffee but it was a very good tasting cup of freshly-made coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cakes on offer looked delicious. There was a lunch time snack menu which also looked appetising. An added bonus was that it was dog friendly.

We ordered Fish salad each and it was the freshest salad I've had in a restaurant, absolutely delicious 😋, staff very kind very friendly, we had two cream scones with jam and clotted cream, they were home made scones and lovely too. Left there full and happy! Would we go back there again? That's a big YES! from us.

As a regular visitor to Smiths we have always had consistent and fantastic service. This includes when we’ve eaten at the mobile van at Park Fair, Great Tew. The quality of all ingredients and products are exceptional. Our favourite spot for burgers and we’ve tried a lot, from London to Cheltenham! The scotchy is a favourite, I like the heat so never too hot for me. Tots are also amazing. Really surprised to see some of the other reviews, if you want a great burger and you’re in the area this is a must try spot. Ps love the brothers founding story as well!
