Lovely coffee house. Really friendly staff and owners. Lovely hot coffee and hot chocolate and great tasting cakes. Would recommend.

Our visit to bakery on the water was very enjoyable, staff were nice and coffee and pastries were great, would definitely recommend!

Absolute terrible place. Where to begin!!! Firstly the scones where dreadful they had this awful sour taste to them and the coffee is average at best. The Cornish pasty's where okay but when I asked them to warm it up their reply was "it's warm enough". Secondly the staff need to learn some manners! There's better places then this in Cotswolds, as I tour guide I would recommend going to hunters cake house better coffee/food and way nicer staff.

As a regular visitor to Smiths we have always had consistent and fantastic service. This includes when we’ve eaten at the mobile van at Park Fair, Great Tew. The quality of all ingredients and products are exceptional. Our favourite spot for burgers and we’ve tried a lot, from London to Cheltenham! The scotchy is a favourite, I like the heat so never too hot for me. Tots are also amazing. Really surprised to see some of the other reviews, if you want a great burger and you’re in the area this is a must try spot. Ps love the brothers founding story as well!

I stayed here in October 2020 with my partner. We were meant to be going abroad but due to Covid we did a road trip of GB starting in Bourton and then returned to end our holiday. Ended up being lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation here and we absolutely loved it. The owners are so friendly and great to talk to and the food was out of this world. Will definitely return again soon. It's been too long 🥂

The guy who works here is rude and condescending. Dare you not be a perfect coffee expert and ask for advice on which drink to choose.

This was a wonderful shop & cafe with warm and friendly staff and the door had a gorgeous rainbow colured glass above their door. & lots of pretty and quaint trinkets to look at and buy as well as snacks.

It was a nice and delicious experience 😋 It's a cozy sweetshop in the middle of Burton on the water, you can't miss it. I enjoyed it!

We luckily managed to get the last table inside.The table was cleaned and cleared before we sat down. We had Cappuccinos - we requested Soya and decaf- which was available and sausage and bacon baps, the food was excellent quality and the baps deep filled with crispy streaky bacon and sausage, the best I have had. The staff were excellent and bought our orders quickly we used the toilet and that was clean.

Hubby had a flight experience booked at the air field so we went to cafe to watch him. I had a tea and toast and water after a very long wait. to served. Got home to a message to say we hadnt paid our bill. Now they had no idea who we were as no names were given so we were just customers, the place was packed so not sure how we got accused. I rang and said I had proof of payment and the reply was just literally oh ok.... no apology nothing, you dont accuse people of theft then brush it under the carpet. The only reason you got our phone number was because Aero Legends had it. Disgusting.

Popped in to get some food to take away on a relatively quiet mid week morning. There were several free tables, it didn't seem particularly busy. Walked to the counter, none of the staff acknowledged or even looked at us for several minutes. I have never felt so invisible in my life! We were actually just about to walk out when we were finally served. I don't mind waiting, but surely eye contact and a 'hi, I'll be with you in just a minute' is just basic manners to be expected. Food was over priced too.

Popular pub in a nice setting by the river with a good selection of ales. Food was excellent and service first class. Will return at some stage.

Turned up for a quick lunch as a party of 5, the town was very busy, but the staff at the Manse were able to help us and were very attentive. The food was of a good quality and reasonable value. Had the weather been bettwe we would have sat outside in what is an attractive seating area.
