The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

I stayed with friends on a midweek January night when it was really quiet but have to say it was great. The bar staff were really friendly and drink selection was fine. As it was off season there was only pizza on the menu and we each tried a different flavour with some sides and they were DELICIOUS with loads of topping. Very impressed

Appalling experience. Waited almost an hour with two young children. Doorstep toast was cheap thin brown bread. Asked for poached eggs on white received hard eggs on cheap brown. Pancakes and burnt inedible bacon was the last straw. Avoid.

Delicious coffee and cakes. Wonderful gluten free cakes too. Staff go the extra mile, even when busy. Quiet atmosphere so easy to talk with background music playing softly.

Popped in for a quick lunch on day trip to Poole, as cafe looked very neat and tidy and menu appealing. Turned out to be a good choice. We had a toasted panini and cheese and onion quiche with salad. Both excellent. Efficient and friendly service. Sorry we did not have time to call later for one of the cakes! Great asset to the town.

Lovely!!! Amazing views, as always. Fabulous location. The waterless, Jojo, always remembers us, and makes us feel very welcome 🤗. Very nice food and good service. My daughter got engaged here, as the views are stunning, and received a complimentary bottle of bubbly to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! Thank you so much! We have returned since, and will return again! Definitely recommend 100%!

Nice place, always enjoy the coffee, but sometimes the staff are chatting and forgetting the customers. But that’s a minor problem.

This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society" We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.

We used to visit the M&S cafe a few years ago. In those days you each had a free biscuit, a cup and saucer and ice cold water with a slice of lemon to go with the espresso. Today (4/3/23) you get a scalding hot mug of insipid undrinkable foul liquid, filled to the brim leaving no room for milk, without a saucer. You can also get an espresso that tastes like battery acid (my stomach is still suffering 6 hours later) and luke warm water in a filthy glass. Never again!

Lovely food, classic pub grub but done well and reasonably priced. Liver was excellently cooked, slightly pink and soft and packed full of flavour. Service was good, we were checked back on, meals came promptly and cleared when finished. Nice cold wine and kids meals substantial for the price! Only marked down one star as bar is always busy (not a bad thing), but just makes it sometimes awkward leaning over drinkers to order food. However, always highly recommended for both food and drinks.

A un precio razonable y todo estaba bien, a mi gusto al menos. Bonitas tostadas blancas. Tocino cantidad perfecta de crujiente. Grandes hongos fritos. Gran amigo desayuno.

We walked in the pub , found a table and my wife went to the bar. The bar was empty and my wife was to be served next. At that point the bartender looked at my wife to serve her then a very rude pink hair person called kim( that’s what the bartender called her) jumped in front and the bartender turned to the rude local and ignored my wife and didn’t even apologise. We all walked out without a drink and went to a pub where people are treated equal

Short measured pints. Miserable staff. Stick to the floor. Derelict boorish old codger clientele. Wipe your front the way out.

Lovely staff, fast service and good value for money with the Starbucks app. Very pleased and will be back

Turned up at 1720 to have a juice but was told by a rather sullen lady that I could only have coffee as they were closing at 6. Then she over charged me.. not very welcoming.
