Bunters Bar in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Beers are cold as well as wet, quite well kept. Price is very reasonable. Staff, mostly very nice. There is an old codger, self indulgent element, unfortunately.

I stopped here for a few beers last night the place was completely dead but it was early evening so this was to be expected but the place was clean and well presented I expect with the cheap beer and when football is on the place would be packed

My favorite pub in town and how I enjoy an evening out in there! Fantastic friendly service by the bar staff, best beers at a very cheap price, and a load of pool tables at the back if pool floats your boat. Sports on TVs throughout the venue, and Fiday nights there's a live band playing so if you want to "shake your hips" or rediscover your MOJO, then Bunters' is the place to go! Little beer garden out the back as well.

I went there and was greeted with the warm welcome from the big lads. Will be coming here again next Friday with the one and only bunter castles. P.S would recommend the bunter special

If you want a cheap beer, watch sport or play pool then this is the place to go in Truro. Noisy when football is on but it is what it is. Go there often but not for the football.

I do try so hard to avoid this place as the cheap beer has that 'rusty' taste- it's a preservative to extend the life of the beer but I felt I had to give it one last chance on the bottled beers. 330ml Stella, £3.50! Would be incredibly expensive in a nice pub. Yes, I'm done with this place. Such a shame. A real lads pub, a great laugh and somewhere i'd love to frequent but anybody who knows anything about the pub trade and their cheats can taste it in their product. Damn it, I'd love to play pool here with my mates but how can I bring them here when the beer is 'sustained' and the bottled beer is so over priced? Apocryphal. Seems I need to say whey hey at the end of every sentence. Blimus!

Cheap pub and full of 'lads' not a great place, smells of stale beer, would not recommend or go back.

My son and I was working down in the Southwest and we stayed 1 night in Truro wanting to catch the Monday night premier league match we ask in the town did any pub have sky telly we was directed to Bunters got to say on walking in it was like walking into a wild west saloon, not a place you would want to bring a lady to on your first date,but ha ho we was there for the match loads of screens one was huge you could see the game from anywhere in the pub, the drinks were really cheep we stood at the bar and there was a fat lad holding court swearing all the time until the management sort that out they will only get lads in and even then we was fed up of listening to him all night smarten the place up and cut out the louts and then the number of screens they have is a good idea

Recientemente me he mudado con mi pareja en Truro y él me dijo todo sobre Bunter y lo barato que era. Así, para conseguir el cambio de 10 libras para un partido es muy raro hoy en día! Y la calidad y variedad de alcohol también es buena. Realmente amplio bar y todos los clientes habituales están siempre o fuera! Servicio rápido también.

Great staff, good music, competetive prices. Kaura, Krystal, Marcus, Greg and the rest really do make you feel welcome. A wide choice of drinks and well kept ales & lagers always available and live music on friday nights is a must.

Drinks are fairly cheap but the pool tables are on a slope and the staff seem very. Unfriendly. Wouldn't rate it very high.

Nice beer, but not a welcoming atmosphere, and that's just the staff! More an amusement arcade for aged delinquents.

Great bar ! Jason the owner very friendly Marcus and Jenna fantastic bar staff with great service. Drinks really cheap ....recommend the draft Rattler!. Can't wait to be back in Truro and get back into Bunters.

Around 50 of us Maidstone Utd fans visited here before the Truro and this bar was recommended to us. Very cheap drinks, great staff and great place to drink. Dont know about food but I suspect its good value.

Encontramos este gran bar para ver un partido de rugby, tenían fútbol y cuando pedimos poner el rugby en lo hicieron en los televisores en las mesas de la piscina en la parte trasera del pub - genial!

Big centre centre bar with large selection of beers and has lots f TV for sports coverage. Good place to drink with your friends

Bebidas baratas, un montón de pantallas para ver los deportes en!! Es una pena que es difícil de ver la pantalla más grande que usan debido a la iluminación.

This is a pub with zero atmosphere contributing to society's problems by selling booze to people who really shouldent be drinking. accidentally got taken in and left soon after - never again. sad depressing feel to it

Attended a gig there last year in a secret area. Small venue . Sound is brilliant and it's a affordable night out. Downside is being stuck in a small area as people surge towards stage and back. Great little outside place to escape if you got hot or claustrophobic.

Visited this place whilst shopping in Truro on the basis of the advertised £1.49 pints - my family were slightly dubious but the offer was as advertised, with a good selection of ales at £1.49 per pint. The interior was a little dark but for the price you couldn't complain at all. Service was polite and quick, a good place to watch live sport too.

Bunters is a lovely pub with friendly staff. Have met lots of nice people in there while watching many a live sport match. Lots of TV's and a great big projector screen. Good coffees and a nice ale range. Often go there at the weekends and for the great pub quiz they hold.

This is one of the last remaining Free Houses in Cornwall. It has a great selection of Beers and Ales that are among the cheapest in Truro. Loads of TVs showing Sky Sports, Pool tables and fruit machines. Saturday nights its the busiest place in town. Staff are really friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Can wait to visit again soo

I must say been here a few times for a night out can be a bit hit or miss! Very dark inside and can be a very long wait at the bar. Does get busy some times however should expect to be busy on a Saturday night in Truro surely.

If any of you want a nice bar, music, events and somewhere to watch the football or infract any sports. this is the place for you. they have all sorts of sports, many T.V's, pool table, games machines and musicGood value for money on drinks and location is centralised

Bunters is the best. Always a great night. Everyone is so friendly and great music and cheap drinks and friendly staff and a lady photographer to take those special photos to remember the night. The best place in Truro.
