Costa Coffee in West Dorset

What’s the point of having operating hours if you can’t order anything an hour before close.

Definitely not the cheapest place to have a coffee however very convenient when visiting the hospital.

They were really good today with a soya milk cappuccino request. They don't appear to have oat milk, so soya milk was fine. They were meticulous to clean everything when I said I had a dairy allergy. They are always cleaning the space and the surroundings are a really nice place to gather your thoughts or wait for family who are having treatment. Looks like they are open from 7am to 6pm which is helpful. A great team who should be praised.

A nice local Costa. Brilliant on point service with many smiles and a lovely quiet atmosphere. Can't score the food as I didn't order any. But it's the usual Costa food tastes. Indoor and outdoor seating.

the girls staff were rude. awful behaviour. please change the today girls staff from today sift.

Super competent staff handle large volumes of often fussy customers quite effectively. For a big chain, the coffee here is powerful and well presented. Not cheap.

£3.70 for a small cappuccino. Disgraceful, taking advantage of those people who are in the hospital maybe to visit someone and so don't have the choice of somewhere else (yes, sure you've got the cafeteria on the first floor) but not everyone would easily know about that and obviously for convenience Costa has the best location.

Super quick smiley service from Sophie and Martina and the hot chocolate was amazing, thank you. Nice clean store with plenty of seating if you’re having your order in and it’s easy to find on the ground floor of the hospital.

a young boy blew his nose behind the counter infront of customers and continued to make drinks without washing his hands my drink tasted nice but it put me off it knowing it wasn’t sanitary so i couldn’t finish it and i wasted my money

The servers are lovely , friendly and wonderful to chat to. The iced coffee they made me was lovely and I shall definitely be back for more !!!

Use dirty cups for making the espresso. I asked for a latte and the guy put the milk in the takeaway cup then just threw the espresso wherever ontop the milk.

I am the biggest fault picker and moaner but I am very impressed with the 3 young lads working today Hard working, smiles, banter and just general professional friendly attitude Need more of these guys across the costas Josh Alex Connor

When I was eventually served I ordered a latte and an americano the server warmed the latte glass then made a cappuccino and said ohh you didn't order a cappuccino did you no. He then made the latte which tasted awful he had made it with coconut or almond milk (good job I didn't have a nut allergy). When this was pointed out to him he was very reluctant to change it. Not good service at all

Poor service didn’t tell me until after taking my money despite a notice saying they were open until 7pm they closed the seating at 6 to facilitate clearing.

A very handy small cafe that offers a slice of normality and great place to meet with friends when you are stuck in the wards for a long time. Usual range of quality Costa products served efficiently at a very reasonable price.

Very busy, but a good place to sit and wait, meet up, Very like other Costas. A bit scruffy, off hand service, I sat in, but was given a paper cup. Yugh! The decaff coffee was strong enough, but only because I caught the server just before they added too much hot water. It’s a buzzing, cheerful little space, a kind of haven in the serious business of being ill, or with people who are worried.

A stop each day on my way to work with hit coffee and great staff. Always friendly a place to sit. Sometimes you have a bit of Wight but they serve you as quickly as they can

No different to usual Costa service was good. It was a little messy but nothing too dire. Staff were helpful and attentive

Located inside the main entrance to the right of the main stairs, an open fronted coffee shop. Popular with staff and visitors to the hospital. Coffee tea and a good selection of cold drinks, cakes pastries. Also toasted sandwiches and other hot items available. Crisps and a big selection of confectionery and sweets. Toilets nearby in corridor and plenty of room to sit down. Takeaway drinks etc available. Pleasant staff who always seem busy.
