Popped in for lunch while waiting for my hotel room to be ready , the staff were so friendly and kind , service was quick but not rushed . Special thanks to Sarah there was a small problem with my food , but she fixed it quickly and with a smile even though she was super busy thank you Sarah , I appreciated it a lot , have a lovely Christmas when you fia on get spent time off all of the staff at All Bar One ! X

Our idea of a good pub. Well kept cask beers. Good selection of food. Friendly efficient service. But beware of the Ghost Pepper Pork Scratchings - sweet chilli, they are not!

My family and I recently discovered Thirsty Bear Pub and Pizza, and it has quickly become our go-to spot whenever we're craving pizza! The variety on their menu is fantastic, offering a wide selection of pizzas that cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see plenty of creative options that didn’t make me feel limited. For those who enjoy meat, there’s an even broader range of choices that my friends highly recommend. The pizza here is always fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The crust is just the right balance of crispy and soft, and the toppings are generous without overpowering the base. To top it off, Thirsty Bear also has an impressive range of drinks, perfect for pairing with the meal. This place is amazing! The food was very good, I got a Korean Chicken Strips and a Sunday Roast, they were both good and fabulous thanks to all the waiters/waitresses For dessert, I had a sticky toffee pudding with Ice Cream and that was delicious too I can say I am very happy for Botanist Reading.

Please tell me one thing, who adds coconut to butter chicken - why would you do that to people?. Butter chicken tasted like a dessert with grounded coconut in it , had to throw away the whole thing.

Another 're'review, as going up and down due to, what I assume to be, corporate decisions at Dodo Pubs. My review went to a single star when they removed put all the prices up considerably, and removed Craft Ale ... and the fabulous Dodo Burger (pink!). I came back and upped to four stars, after finding all pubs started charging more, and finding a decent ale, and the great Sloppy Napoli pizza ... now back to a very average three stars, as they have removed the pizza. I guess it is my favourite Caversham pub, outside, and in the summer. Accoustics not good inside, so not great for winter. The big problem is the industry charging so much to have a drink. The Crumb's big differentiator was it's high quality food, but they have removed all the things that made them great. The staff are great, and I wish them all the best, but I simply don't think it worth the expense.

Classic example of don't judge a book by its cover. Whilst the aesthetics of this place aren't the most appealing we had a great meal here. The food was genuinely delicious and the bar man was clearly very proud to serve us. We all enjoyed our food and drinks too. Not too pricey either.

Great coffee and nice service. However, even have-in drinks are served in plastic cups :( I only come here when I have my reusable cup

Service was lovely, loads of pints on offer and let me park overnight. Good atmosphere with the pool tables and layout. Definitely would recommend!

Fantastic range of ever changing well kept real ales

Best coffee in Town! I know it’s Costa and it’s everywhere, but it matters who is making the coffee and here I get the most tasty coffee from Town! The team it’s amazing, always with a good vibe and always happy to help!
