Use to go here all the time could not get in to the counter for dilveroo riders and their bikes finally did poor girl on her own pleading for us to use the auto counter as she was swamped. Went wrong the corner to the tasty greek diffrent world shame you lost out on 100 quid order.

Takes ages to order through self service machine, everyone wants to save staff cost but then charge customers with the exact same amount. Not helpful at busy lunch times!

This place has been one of my favorites. I have been there quite a few times for lunch specially after a workout as their Naked Burrito Bowls are the best. Today I ordered a Naked Chicken bowl and there was everything in that bowl except Chicken. They have installed these self ordering machines so I placed my order on that machine and had to wait for my order to come in and hence I couldn't see what they were adding in my bowl. Earlier when you directly placed the order at the till , it was easier as they would ask you what you want in that bowl and add it in front of you. I called them up twice to let them know about this and after listening to my complaint they said they can't hear me and cut the call - TWICE. I wouldn't have written a negative review for a one off bad experience as otherwise this place is my favorite but since they refused to acknowledge my complaint on the call, I was really disappointed. I was really tired and looking forward to having this as my lunch and since I was already back home there was not much I could do about it as I had ordered a TakeAway. Least I can do is trust that these people get my order right after paying for it. I didn’t just pay for some rice and veggies.

Tortilla is a place I used to come to often but didn't have a chance to visit in recent times. I went there today and just got transported to the time I came here on a date with my love a while ago. The food was the same: amazing! And the best was the service, by one Zara - nice to chat with while you take your time choosing from different toppings for your burrito. If you like to have a balanced diet, you should go to Tortilla. Oh and they've got beer as well🙃

There was this one girl called Ashley that was able to wrap my “Everything Burrito” that had everything in it. She’s the goat and needs a raise effective immediately!

Isabelle made us order at the kiosk and then took everybody else’s orders in front of us, then made them all in front of us & continued taking orders - she completed at least 10 other orders before hours was even started. I have reason to believe it’s discrimination because of the way me and my partner look.

Never have any grilled vegetables. Why is it so hard for a burrito place to have grilled vegetables?

Normally I will not complain but was the first time I found burnt pieces on my chicken and couldn't eat, pls check before you give the customers.

I’ve been waiting for order more than an hour On Saturday at 11:00 !from 11:00 11:50 than I have to leave but they don’t care to deliveries boys! It’s a shame to not give this place 5 stars, their food is incredible. Issue is, their oven has been broken for the past 2 weeks, serving no grilled vegetables in any burrito. How does it take 2 weeks to fix/replace an oven!?

Ayna provided lovely customer service, and always has a positive attitude. She always has a bright smile everytime I come in the shop. She never fails to make us laugh.

You can find my previous review below. Need to update the review because of my shocking experience yesterday at around 13:10. The new kisoks are useless, they do not let me pick my usual order, aka that last option where you can pick lettuce and other side things. So I go up to the front, saying I cannot order at the kiosk because I can't get my normal order, I don't paid paying more but I would like my normal order. The attitude of your employee saying "Use the kiosk, if the kiosk doesn't allow it, you can't order it". Absolutely no help, no other choice, nothing. I get the system of kiosk is not their fault but also you don't have to be rude about it. This place just keeps going down hill, first the £9 for a burrito, then the smaller portions, then the dumb kisoks and now a rude employee. That hot sauce is amazing, but I would rather learn to make it, then deal with your staff or kiosks again. (previous review below) I love mexican food so much, which is why one of my favourite places to go for a quick bite is Tortilla. I have ate at the Cardiff, Stratford, central London and Birmingham Tortilla branches. However, I was very disappointed at the one in Reading, the portion was so small, the server give me half a spoon of chicken and when I asked if I can have the roast vegetables with my chicken, something I always do with other Tortilla restaurant. The server flat out said "No, that is only for vegetarians". Now I don't even mind paying extra, because I love having the roast vegetables. The half spoon of chicken and no vegetables just meant I was unhappy with my meal. It was very disappointing and I left hungry after paying over £7 for a large bowl.

I’ve been here a few times now and every time I walk into the establishment Anya always has a big smile on her face and is ready to assist with anything I need. I would also like to shout out Zara for her fantastic personal service which is nothing but 5*. They both know what it takes to deliver a great service and are an asset to the company!

I'm a regular at Tortilla Reading and have been getting lunches from here over 2 years now. Had to write this review, as I went in today and the staff were all new. I got a naked burrito for lunch as usual and I get half the portion size. It's a loot at £7.8! Fancy new kiosks, increase in price as well as REDUCED PORTION - you're losing a loyal customer!

Usually go here all the time and love the place, noticed they installed new kiosks for customers to order, it didn’t let me pick my usual so i went to the desk to order it from there like how i used to and got given attitude to go use the kiosk, explained what happened and they still gave me bad customer service and even ignored me… Fix your staff.

Had a large naked burrito and the portion and freshness of it was just perfect,clean restaurant and friendly members of staff ,even tho very busy the 3 ladies in front still manage to smile and make everyone feel welcomed.Iwners should maybe look for more tables as was busy and all tables occupied and had to take away .

The woman serving was extremely rude to us, she seemed like a teenager. When asked just to serve burrito bowl there were hardly any veggies left (I am a vegetarian) and she was scrapping off stuck veggies from the tin (stone cold). Asked for green chillies she was like there’s none left (how about you chop some? We are in a Mexican restaurant). If I knew there were hardly any ingredients left to accommodate my vegetarian order I would’ve left before proceeding with the order. Plus she didn’t give me any cutlery or tissue. The staff is very unwelcoming and rude. Love tortilla but never visiting again. What a shame.

Absolutely shocking. Paid £12 for a ' naked burrito' online order , received a bowl of lettuce..that was it..no veg as I paid for , 2 tiny bits of chicken , disgusting . Have come here for years & is terrible now, don't waste your money!!

the food tastes great however my burrito was missing cheese, sour cream and guacamole and you have to pay extra for guacamole so i paid extra for nothing, very annoying my burrito was literally rice beans and meat?! hardly had any of the other fillings i had selected in… ordered on uber eats

Really good Mexican-style restaurant, serving tacos and burritos, as well as a range of other items. I usually go for a burrito, they're excellent value and very filling- medium size is usually enough for me. There's a range of fillings available, including vegan options. Various side options on offer too and it serves a range of soft drinks and beers. It's conveniently located on Reading High Street, easy to find and the restaurant access is fully accessible. Plenty of seating inside too. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the service is quick and efficient. Always look forward to this as a treat, recommended if you want a quick bite while in town.

The lady working today at around 1:30pm is so rude. We barely got a good amount of ingredients as you can see they were running low and haven’t restocked. As a paying customer why should I get less than I should just because they prioritize speaking to one another than restocking. And to top it all off - the burrito was life cold and falling apart. I was a regular here but not anymore there’s better burrito shops in Reading with friendlier staff and generous servings

The team here are great. When you’re running out for a quick lunch in the middle of a workday, they let you entirely customise your meal. It’s also lovely to be recognised after a few visits. Can’t fault the experience.

First time in this place, seemed ok from outside. Magda seemed friendly enough when we asked her to explain how the food worked. We had my elderly mother with us, who has dementia so had to order seperately which did not go down too well with one of the members of staff. She said we should've of ordered at the same time, I told her my Mum has dementia and we needed to feed her first. Not all disabilities are visible and staff should not just look at someone before commenting. Food was ok but not hot, won't be coming back.

Food is always good but the service is even better. Stefano is so helpful and great with customers.

Big fan of the enamel plates you get if you’re eating in as well. Definitely the best branch of Tortilla I’ve eaten at - keep up the good work.

This is an Uber eats review. Certainly not the fault of the driver, who I could see, took the most direct route. The food was stone cold. If it’s not possible to deliver hot food to certain areas, I suggest it shouldn’t be an option for customers.

I visit Tortilla on a regular basis, as the Burritos are the best. I also give Eugene 5* for the service. He has served me on numerous occations and is always polite and welcoming. I will return whenever I am in Reading.
