Me encanta que hayan puesto asientos adentro y afuera aquí ahora. Me encanta el chocolate Godiva y esas fuentes de chocolate son una broma. Es una pena que no puedan servirles chocolate derretido. Me di el gusto de un chocolate caliente aquí cuando encontré el chocolate del hotel y Paul's se había acabado. Es justo decir que no compitió bien. Elegí el chocolate caliente con praliné de avellanas porque los espéculos se han agotado. Se sirvió muy caliente, lo que me regañó la lengua y la hizo perder un poco de sabor. Una vez enfriado, sabía bien y el praliné de avellana cantaba, sin embargo, no era lo suficientemente dulce o espeso para mí. When visiting Oxford, there are certain experiences that are simply quintessential, and finding a lovely cafe to enjoy a traditional British scone is certainly one of them. I recently visited a cafe here "Vaults & Garden" where, in my opinion, trying their scone is an absolute must. This cafe offers what I found to be a perfect pairing: an excellent scone and a good cup of coffee. The combination is simply delightful. The classic way to enjoy a scone involves splitting it and generously layering it with clotted cream and then either jam or marmalade. Doing this here, whilst perhaps taking in the view of the iconic Radcliffe Camera, elevates the experience considerably. The scone itself had a lovely texture and flavour, providing the ideal base for the rich clotted cream and sweet or tangy spread. The setting, especially if you can find a spot with a view of the magnificent Radcliffe Camera, adds significantly to the enjoyment. It creates a memorable moment, savouring a classic treat while looking out at one of Oxford's most famous architectural landmarks.

Good Mocha and friendly lady serving, nice comfy seating upstairs plus the decor is nice and stylish too

Avoid this place if you can!! First off when I went to pay for my food, the price displayed by the food was 9.95 but when I went to pay I chose eat in and it suddenly went up to 11.95 so I asked for help and the worker seemed to sort it out so I payed only to realise he had charged me even extra!! So I got this refunded but he barely spoke a word of English and was really hostile. Sat down and ate the food and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. Paid £12 for a whole bunch of nothing. The staff watch you like hawks while you’re trying to eat which made me feel so awkward. I promise I’m not just some Karen moaning lol it was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve had!

I’ve always been a loyal customer of Cafe Nero, more speculation at the High Street store, where I’m consistently welcomed with warm and friendly service. I’ve also occasionally visited the Gloucester Green branch and have generally been satisfied with the service there as well. I’m based in Oxford and commute to Bicester for work via train. This morning I made a detour to Gloucester Green specifically for your Luxury White Chocolate Mocha, which I love. Upon ordering, I mentioned to the male staff member that other stores usually fill the drink to the top. I wasn’t complaining—just pointing out the difference in service. He responded politely, but the female staff member nearby scoffed and laughed, then went on to explain why they “can’t” do that. I clarified again that I wasn’t arguing, just sharing feedback. Unfortunately, my order was then made incorrectly—I received a Luxury Hot Chocolate instead. I returned to the store and joined the queue. The male staff member was kind and apologetic, admitting he misheard and offered to remake the drink, which I appreciated. However, the female staff member—now at the front—looked at me with visible irritation. When I explained the mistake, instead of acknowledging it or apologising, she accused me of placing the wrong order. Her attitude was rude, defensive, and unnecessarily combative. This experience left a very negative impression on me. I typically don’t leave reviews, especially as I’ve consistently received great service from your brand. But this interaction completely shifted my perception. Customer service should always reflect courtesy and professionalism—sadly, her behaviour did not. This is customer service, and what I experienced this morning was the opposite of what should be achieved. Instead of starting my day on a positive note, I left feeling disrespected. I didn’t anticipate that popping in for a coffee to kickstart my morning would become such a negative encounter.

Shame that this place has closed - it is now just another store selling Oxford tee shirts. Maybe they'll change their minds and reopen it.

Not too sweet, milk frothed really well, good temperature….and very reasonable! Worth the short wander away from the centre.

¡Oh Dios! Este es un lugar más caro que un viaje a la luna y viceversa. Por dos chocolates calientes y dos bollos - £ 19! Y la chica que servía insistía en que solo había vasos de cartón disponibles. Esta es la cafetería más linda, el café aquí es increíble, probablemente uno de los mejores cafés con leche que he tomado en Oxford. El personal es tan encantador y acogedor y hay un montón de opciones de asientos. La única desventaja era que no funcionaba el wifi, aunque un gran servicio para hotspot off. Definitivamente volveré.
