Knoops in Oxford

¡Oh Dios! Este es un lugar más caro que un viaje a la luna y viceversa. Por dos chocolates calientes y dos bollos - £ 19! Y la chica que servía insistía en que solo había vasos de cartón disponibles. Estuve a punto de derramar 5 libras, pero gracias a Dios me las arreglé para no hacerlo. Ofrecen una gama absurda de chocolate - todo sabe igual - y se debe evitar. Cíñete a Cadbury's.

Las mocas son mi bebida favorita para pedir aquí & tiene chica encantadora niamh me sirven y dio grandes recomendaciones de bebidas! Sin duda volvería a ir : )

Un chocolat chaud incomparable au goûts subtils. Malgré la file de 20 minutes, la table peu propre et la poubelle qui débordait de gobelets, le goût du chocolat a dépassé toutes les espérances.

Me encantó mi batido de moca aquí! El personal era absolutamente encantador - especial gracias a Jamie que nos atendió - era un momento ocupado del día, pero el personal era todo sonriente y alegre a pesar de la larga cola fuera de la puerta.

Estimado cliente de KNOOPS OXFORD Le escribo para expresar mi decepción por mi reciente visita a su establecimiento. Lamentablemente, mi experiencia dista mucho de ser satisfactoria y me siento obligado a señalar estas cuestiones a su atención. Sí, otra excursión de un día a Oxford después de haber sido introducido a Knoops en diciembre pasado. Un rango del 34% al 80% esta vez. Tres de cuatro excelente. El 80 % fue bastante decepcionante, probablemente debido al hecho de que era vegano (no lo había visto) de tal manera que se usó leche diferente y posiblemente más agua. Se concentrará en el 70% para nuestra próxima visita. Rodajas de arándano y Pain au Chocolat ambos fabulosos. Y un gran servicio. Laguna Hayling

Sí, es caro. Pero sigue siendo uno de los mejores chocolates calientes que he tomado. Yo siempre tomo el chocolate caliente al 35 % y mis novios toman el batido al 54 %, ¡que también es genial!

Fueron muy groseros. El día más caluroso del año y la máquina de batidos se estaba “enfriando”. El barista no ofreció ninguna simpatía o entusiasmo para mantenernos como clientes y en su lugar nos corrigió la falta de conocimiento en su menú extremadamente confuso y demasiado detallado. No volveremos de nuevo.

I am partial to a choccy milk. Walking by with my friends, we were lured in by their sleek ‘in the wall’ shop front. You step in and are immediately slammed by numbers, percentages and a menu which left me more confused than informed. I decided to go for 80% (I am a enthusiast for dark chocolate and thought that this would be well within my capabilities) and was excited for my first sip. I slurp up my first mouthful, grimace, fear and panic running across my face, then burst out laughing. I endured the whole cup, purely for the fact that I had spent nearly an hours wages on it. The taste was grainy, scratchy and somewhat indescribable. Overall, I was disappointed and will never be returning and perhaps will never touch a choccy milk ever again.

Could be a bit out of Curb Your Enthusiasm: Larry discovers a new place that has gentrified hot chocolate, and is serving £8 chocolate milk that tastes incredibly meh. Even a very small water is £1.75!!! Illusion of choice with however many options for just chocolate milk, we bought 4 drinks and none were anything remotely special or deserving of a silly price tag. Bland decor that looks like it was designed by the AI prompt ‘coffee shop opened in 2020s targeting young people’, whole thing felt like a cash grab - although of course they don’t accept cash! Staff didn’t track who the drinks belonged to and were unhelpful when trying to hand them to the right person; I really admired the fact they just did not care actually, it was refreshingly honest even if the drinks were not refreshing. The iced mocha was grainy and majority ice, and we weren’t sure it had even been within 100 feet of a coffee bean. I had an iced coffee which didn’t have enough caffeine in to keep an ant awake, but perhaps this was done to stop me from having the energy to write a bad review? Anyway please let me know how much you pay for the nice reviews on here because I’m bankrupt after paying for a coffee flavoured water. Would I recommend? Honestly quite a funny experience so if you’ve got £20 to spend (not in cash of course) and enjoy being judgemental then hop on down! From this experience I learnt that perhaps I have more hate in my heart than I realised, so thank you to Knoops for their role on my journey to self actualisation.

I went here three times in two days in Oxford (I also visited a location in London three times when I was there too.) I tried five flavors and all were good. One of my trips here the service was slow (only one person working) but it was good the rest of the time. Even when the service was slow it was still otherwise good!

I was skeptical...because I consider myself a hot choccy kinda girl. Then there was the queue in front...was it a sign of 'trend overload' or good hot choc? EXCELLENT hot chocolates. There is a bit of decision overload with varieties, but if you know your preferences...dark, milk, white...that narrows it down...a bit. It was exceptionally tasty hot chocolate...worth waiting in the queue...BOTH times we went.

Having been fairly ignorant of all things Hot Chocolate - Knoops is a revelation. Highly recommended. Once tried you will refuse all substitutes. Fabulous. Hayling Seagoon

Specialised in hot chocolate and it is indeed good but unfortunately not a lot of space to sit down . More for a take away one.

I loved the chill atmosphere in this shop, the concept and the chocolate of course. The staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back again!

Walked into an almost empty shop for a couple of coffees. No acknowledgment or eye contact, they had a big order on the and were purely focused on that. 8 minutes later I walked out to go to Missing Bean to get my coffees, after not even getting an acknowledgement of my existence in the whole time I was there. Hospitality 101 - just say hello and say you’ll be with the customer soon. I would have waited happily had they given me some hope of being served at some point.

I've visted Knoops three times now - 2 times for their delicous hot chocolates, and yesterday to try out their milkshakes. I had the 80% chocolate milkshake and it was without a doubt the nicest I've ever had. Truly delicious. I some of the other reviews are a bit ridiculous and self-indulging. Oxford can be absolutely heaving with people, so in fairness I'd advise Knoops to up the staff members to cope during those times, but I've never had any trouble. The staff have always been great.

I really wanted to taste the chocolate. I didn't as the shop is cashless. It's not that I have no credit card, but I'm offended by any service that makes me use card only. When the world goes cashless, can you imagine how easy it will be for hackers, banks, governments to take our money away with one click? Why not give people a choice? I boycott all shops that are cards only, if I can choose. Join me!

Happened across this amazing hot chocolate bar by accident....what a great way to warm up on a drizzly spring day! The variety of hot chocolates and other hot drinks was outstanding and not at all pricy!! Loved this place!!

The best service I’ve ever experienced plus a hot chocolate superlative to all others. I can highly recommend the 60% though I also had the 85% - Knoops is definitely my new best friend!!!

Visited Knoops for the first time. Tried the 72% hot chocolate which was absolutely delicious! Long queue but worth the wait.

Well they do hot chocolates like nowhere else, the drinks really are phenomenal. The girl on the till was friendly however the two staff members making drinks seemed completely uninterested in their custom and didn't even look at us! Very disappointed with that part of the service but the drink was great. I did however feel I wasn't given any option to make additions nor advised on this.

It was pretty busy when we went but the staff were making drinks pretty quickly with a big queue. Some of the reviews are pretty bad but that wasn’t my experience at all. My one gripe would be all the tables were dirty and needed cleaning and no one was, but equally there was a big queue. The hot chocolate was REALLY nice, one of the best I’ve ever had!

Why go elsewhere? Like seriously forget it… this place has it all. We first stumbled upon them in London so when we found out Oxford has one too we were there! The drinks are unreal… I had a 73% dark hot chocolate and it was out of this world. Creamy, thick and best of all it was HOT… not luke warm like most places seem to offer. My daughter had an iced oat milk with 35% die to allergies and she loved it. The hubby also had the same but with ice cream!!! Honestly it’s the bees knees 👍🏻

The most perfect iced chocolate! My new favourite place, for anything chocolatey. Server was super friendly and she helped me decide the right strength for a chocolate hit. Highly recommended
