The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Gosport South East

Went for lunch with a friend who had been before. Possibly due to the time of day (12.30) or the fact it was Monday the place was almost deserted. This did not reflect the quality of the food which was hot, plentiful and well cooked. We both had the Chicken pie. On the downside was the “music”! Monotonous, loud and not at all melodic. If anything this would put me off going again, despite the food quality.

I visited for the first time today with my partner and our three-month-old daughter, and it will certainly be our last. Despite there being three empty tables when we arrived, we were told they were “reserved”—a claim that quickly seemed dubious. Each time a table became free, it too was marked as reserved. We stayed for 30 mins, and those supposedly reserved tables remained empty the entire time. Meanwhile, our three-month-old baby was forced to endure freezing weather outside. While I understand Saturdays are busy, it is baffling that management could not show the basic consideration to let us use one of these empty tables, at least temporarily, to keep our baby warm. It is inexcusable to prioritise holding empty tables over the well-being of a young child, especially when those tables remained unoccupied the entire time we were there. We were told we would be allowed inside once a table was free, yet as we sat shivering outside, we watched table after table collect dust. By the time a table finally opened up, we had already finished our visit. To top it off, we paid £11.50 for two mochas and a slice of cake that looked and tasted like something from a wholesale warehouse like Costco. For that price, we expected much better quality. This wasn’t a matter of being entitled. I understand the challenges of hospitality, but common sense and decency should have prevailed. Allowing a family with a young baby to take an unused, empty table temporarily isn’t a difficult or unreasonable ask. Instead, we experienced poor management, lackluster service, and disappointing food. I would not recommend this establishment to parents with young children or anyone expecting decent service and quality for their money.

Came here for the brewery tour yesterday with some mates. Couldn't fault it from start to finish, tour, beers, food all outstanding! Can't wait to come back absolute hidden gem.

Had trouble finding the Country Park but once we had, afternoon tea & ice cream were a must in this little cafe. The ice-cream is just fantastic - you must try the UNICORN flavour!

Well I turned up half an hour before its advertised closing time to the evident annoyance of the staff. Tried ignoring me and when that didnt work reluctantly served me and forced me to listen to a rant about how they were just about to close. The finale to this performance was deliberately putting the cup of coffee as far away as possible on the counter. My tip if you want to close early shut the door and put up a closed sign. Absolute height of rudeness. The coffee was ok

Three times we have visited this pub, once with family, once with a friend and more recently with my husband. The service was fantastic, professional but friendly, the food great, portion sizes were great. When visiting with a friend things were not so good but having explained to the manager they apologised and bearing in mind the other visits were fantastic we accept everywhere has off occasions. Ideal sports pub if that’s your “thing” and ideal for disabled people with a ramp and easy access areas. Good value for money, plenty of choice and gluten free available too.

They do open the box and don't pay the money out that people win don't recommend this place at all!! When asked for it to be sorted out they get really rude and aggressive! Imagine pocketing the hard earned money your punters put into your place for you to rob them blind what a shambles

I had to wait for over an hour and a half for an order I could have walked and picked up myself. delievery driver didn't speak English so when i tried asking why so long he said I come quick and walked away from me. the wraps are cold and not hot because of this. I'm really not happy with the order this time! disappointed! I would like to be compensated for the drivers rudeness and my food being cold!

Quiet couple times I've been in there but that was early doors the one time it was busy the new landlady looked very much up to the job in control and doing an excellent job

The service was terrible we got treated quite rudely by a member of staff who told us to leave and said that we got banned when we did nothing wrong someone else caused the issue but all sorted out in the end with the manager but just a very bad experience and I hope you deal with it the young person who told us to leave was pretty horrible and raised her voice I'm sorry but I'm not returning back for a couple of months I hope you improve your service and management when we come back and get a apology from the young person who caused us to have a bad time

Probably the worst service and food I've experienced. When asking the staff the clean and clear the table, we were greeted by huff and the look that it "was my job? " Plates were cleared, but table not wiped so asked another member of staff the do it. Begrudgingly she partially wipes the table. Coffee and cake arrived, I had a coffee and walnut cake and my wife a honey comb cake. Both were very dry, my walnut cake fell to bits when I touched it with fork, it was that stale. Certainly won't go there again.

Such a shame! Refurb seemed to be paint, new carpet (yuk) and tarted up beer garden. Two staff behind the bar on a Bank Holiday weekend? Staff were run stupid and moving about the place, complaining how under-staffed they were and how embarrassing it was because of the messy tables. Stop complaining and get on with it then. Dirty tables, food all over the floor and sub-standard food. Too many customers waiting to be served….. £1m refit?????? Should have spent less and employed more staff. Considering nearly all Gosport pubs have shut down, Wetherspoons should be on point 100%….

I have had many small breakfasts in my time but this one took the biscuit. As you will see from the picture I had no egg due to dietary restrictions but I was not offered an extra item to replace it. Bacon was also hard and overcooked My food looked lost on the plate and honestly I did not get value for money on this purchase. Service was slow at the counter as they chatted amongst themselves. Overall and honestly don’t waste your money try Wetherspoons instead
