Costa in Gosport

I was unaware that this shop has now turned into a love me love my dog kennel. I object strongly to drinking my coffee with smelly dogs it should be a clean eating establishment

A wonderfully kept clean store with two lovely individuals who served us with a warm, friendly, professional service. Took order and made our beverages to perfection. Lovely atmosphere in the venue. A credit to costa, unlike some other local costas visited recently. Would have liked to provide positive feedback on this store and the two serving today as they were great, however, my app wouldn't provide this stores location?

Most Costas are ok though the food has always been a tad expensive the staff are great at this one, Costa's is like Premier inns or Holiday inns same old same old mind you Coffee 1# was packed

Its great for a quick stop in the High Street.

Lovely coffee and cake, although cake very pricey. We used our offer of 2 cakes for £4 otherwise it would have been coffee only.

Ordered a mango frappe, with no ice crushed, no straw, and no good service

Proper rude man staff member caramel ice latte with cream and the bits ontop you give me a cup of cold coffee! No cream a With NO caramel in! I went back in for the cream and you said I’ll have to charge you for the cream? What you should have done in the first place? no caramel in there you said there was I’m telling you there isn’t where’s the caramel I took a photo to prove a point! Sort ya attitude out as well! I won’t be coming in to that costa again! Rude.

Love a Costa but for some reason they can never find the Hospital to deliver your order !

Driver got lost!!! Stone cold, inedible food, I ordered it at 9.03am received it at 9.57am, I had to text and call the driver, after they text to tell me "they couldn't find me" even though the postcode and delivery instructions were quite clear!!! They were in completely the opposite direction to where I live!!

Food OK but overpriced - bacon roll was more roll than bacon

Wrong order but did apologise for it being wrong

Driver was extremely polite and apologized for the wait even though he was on time 10/10

Cleanliness better than 2 x Havant Costa venues I usually visit. Standing at the counter ready to order & 3 members of staff discussing a till issue took their time to acknowledge I was ready to order, almost ready to walk away!

Charged for bakewell tart but its missing

Visited today for 2 drinks; chocolate fudge brownie frappe and iced americano. The chocolate fudge brownie had no brownie it, the male server literally just put powdered chocolate in with milk and ice; this is not how it has been made at other costas. The americano tasted just like a black coffee. Very poor for the price paid and will not be visiting there again.

Hot food was cold when arrived and missing items.

I went into Costa today and there was a man and a woman serving, ok they were sort of busy, but the woman was making drinks for people already there and the man was faffing around moving cups from one place to the other and completely ignored me until he decided that he had done everything he patently didn't need to do before acknowledging or serving me ! I go into many Costa's that are far busier than the one I went into today and have been acknowledged and served a whole lot quicker. It was as if the man thought that what he was doing was far more important than greeting and serving or acknowledging one of their customers who pay their wages! I won't be going in there again !

I always go to a Costa, this one in Gosport is special I went to the counter to order explained to the guy behind iwas hard of hearing and that I lip read ,he was amazing and he even did some sign language, unfortunately I did not get his name but what a fabulous person well done.

Cold coffee, melted mushy cake, delivery driver couldn't read delivery instructions and got lost, then blamed me for wasting his time! I ordered at 2.29pm delivered just after 4pm!!

Toastie was a little burnt but still good and everything else was great!

I had to wait because they didn't have a driver when I got it it was cold and the rolls that it was in were rock hard they were 3 or 4 days out of date

Coffee for people who drink tea, or I am just unlucky. Have tried Americano, Espresso and Cortado here. Yet to finish one. Weak and lukewarm. Staff are generally more concerned with each other.

The coffee was barely warm and I'm not sure there was actually any coffee in it! It was like warm milk!!! The frappe had cream - I did not select cream because I don't like cream!!

Disapointed there always seems to be a problem ,not the tidiest of cafe's last time l visited it was closing early because something was not working 😕

All great service food coffee wasn't busy when arrived. Saw I had a walker so brought my tray of food and drink to the table.

There's a kind-of class ranking system for coffee shops. Costa is generally found in retail parks alongside supermarkets such as Asda or Tesco - indeed sometimes inside said supermarkets - and along sadly fading high streets such as Gosport, which is where we were today. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking this, one of the first high street coffee franchises to bring the good stuff to the masses, I'm as much a fan of Costa flat white as the next Joe Soap, and you have to admire the way the franchise has convinced its patrons that when they enter their establishment for a distinctly average beverage and an overpriced caramel slice or bakewell tart, that they're better for being there. Elevated somehow. The prices are just cheap enough for a single Mum of four with her double buggy to still be affordable on a whim after her Asda shop, and just expensive enough to make her feel like she's experiencing something luxurious. It's a bit like eating Ferrero Roche. Gosport Costa is much the same as anywhere else - you can sit outside in the empty high street sipping your caramel latte watching the to-ing and fro-ing of the town's finest and feel the Costa vibe of smug satisfaction that, for 30 minutes or so, you can suspend your disbelief and tell yourself you're better than them.

The lady's who serve me was so nice and recommended me a salted caramel frappe and omg so good always so nice in there and have alot of time for customers

Terrible service rude staff with attitudes, the place is dark and noisy fridge, Also if you like ants in your drink/food go ahead as they have a ant problem.

Everything was great but I was expecting one or two biggish cookies not two bitesize ones in a packet for £2. If I known how big they were I wouldn't have brought them.

Had to order twice because the cups weren’t sealed properly, leaked through the bag and bag collapsed

Staff were great. Tables were cleared quickly ready for next customer. There were 8 in our group and it didn't take long for our order to be ready and it was correct. Lovely atmosphere

Sugar and chocolate dusting was missing

Strawberry and cream drink was just strawberry milk with a chunk of ice thrown in unimpressed

This is for the Costa store at Channon retail Park in Eastleigh Hampshire. The Staff that were there on Saturday morning on the 12th of March were brilliant 👏 However I have been there on other occasions when there's been a manageress who is there sometimes. And she is very rude very Miserable and in my opinion has little or No P.R Skills Whatsoever She obviously doesn't want to be there And needs to be removed as Manageress Or told to change her attitude 🙄 Thankyou Mr S Matthews

The drinks were a bit cold and my sausage bap was hard in places.

ordered 2 drinks, one decaf. no signs as to which drink was decaffeinated?? I couldn’t risk drinking caffeine so a waste of a drink. I spoke to Just Eat on the chat and had some very blunt/ rude responses. I just wanted a simple refund for the drink I could not drink.

Absolutely disappointed with the service here today (26/2/22) we popped in here for a couple of hot chocolates with the kids (both aged 5) on a trail around Gosport area, we also needed to use the bathroom (we know what child bladders are like!) Meanwhile my partner ordered up the drinks as it was cold 🥶 but they refused to serve us for an unknown reason, we respected face masks etc but refused serving as they were closing although people were sat inside with hot drink etc still. Still refused us to get drinks for takeaway for the kids but quite happily served the couple behind us. Words are beyond me!

Used the Too Good To Go app and got a bag - process was very easy. Because it was so quiet, I've gotten an additional one for free. Lovely staff, many thanks!

The coffee was as expected and the service was alright as well. But there's 2 significant points which which leaves with no option but to give a low score. 1) They don't offer filter coffee. I really can't comprehend why a specialist coffee shop doesn't sell some so simple. 2) No dogs allowed!!! Do they hate dogs or what?

Shocking staff, ordered on just eat and paid. Phone call from store telling me they didn’t have some items so I asked them to cancel. Sorry we can’t do that you have to do it on the app. Couldn’t do it on the app so rang the store back to say don’t deliver it. They kept hanging up on me and then wouldn’t answer the phone. I went to the store, met with rude staff who couldn’t help me at all.

Very disappointed with toastie, only 1 side toasted, cheap bread , sparse filling, unappetising, muffin ok , coffee good, but generally disappointing.
