Been here many times. Food is always good and very inexpensive. Staff are friendly and seems to be a good place for families during the day

All the staff were very friendly and they went out of their way help and ensure our visit was good. The food was also really good and the price was fantastic. Only negative was the cleanliness , especially in garden area and toilets .

The pub was bigger than expected and really nice inside. Staff where brilliant. However the only thing I would say is they need to put signs up on on the tables outside saying no food orders outside...we ordered off the app waiting outside BECAUSE most where reserved. Looked like a private party or christen (obviously fine) so sat outside with tables that had numbers on. After ordering food we where told no food is ordered for outside...we apologized but there are no signs and the tables have numbers on.....other than that was lovely pub 🍻

Not a bad place, nice crowd, decent service. Food could definitely be better but again it was ok. Pretty clean facilities and plenty of choice of where to sit.

Great place to meet your friends. Staff very welcoming and the new landlady is a breath of fresh air. She really cares about her customers. The food is asyoud expect. Family area and sports area with a beer garden. Maybe add a bit more colour in the garden would be my only suggestion.

Full marks to this venue for staging the Southern Area LPPLPoker final at less than 48 hours notice. Participants came from as far away as Cornwall and Wales and were all given a warm welcome. The White Hart was big enough and flexible in its approach to easily cater for over 40 players and their guests from 1100 right throughout the day that culminated in very enjoyable musical entertainment late in the evening. At the same time the staff managed to cope with other more regular customers visiting for a meal or to watch the cricket test match or the Olympics. A special mention to Licensee Trudy for taking on and supervising the event at such short notice. To Mitch who did much of the heavy lifting to enable the event to be accommodated and then served drinks and food (including table service), ably assisted by Jas, with courtesy, cheerfulness and skill. Last of all to Chef Chris who put on a seemingly endless stream of very enjoyable special breakfast rolls from 1100 and then served the usual full menu that kept us all going throughout the day. Thank you and well done to all concerned.

Popped in for some food and beers, the team were lovely and food was brilliant. Shout out to jazz the barmaid who went the extra mile and made our whole experience! Thank you very much and we will be returning soon :)

M3M band on, fabulous music. Management are great but Adam so rude. He just ignored me so blatantly staring straight through me and serving everyone else but me, this isn’t the first time this has happened with him. Such a shame when the other guys are so helpful and nice.

I eat here on a semi-regular basis but the service provided by Mitch tonight was stellar! Food was good as usual. Thanks guys

Used to be great pub , not so good anymore if your not a local you wait to be served when busy , good bar staff usually know who is next , or is that old school Plastic glasses after a certain time was enough to stop me going there

Just had a couple of burgers in there with the good lady and they were banging. Well worth £5 and £6 we paid for them. And jazz who was working at the amazing. Definitely be there again soon.

Great food for the money. It was quite busy but the food came out in good time and was hot and tasty.

2 x fish and chips with 1 peas and 1 mushy peas. Great food fish piping hot chips warm but both sets of peas very tepid nearly cold. No-one came back to ask if OK. Was so hungry ate it anyway. Someone asked after a long time if everything was OK. I mentioned yes apart from the peas were cold. No response given. I would still eat here again though. Still good value for money great portion size and drinks not over priced. My local pub at the end of my road.

The presentation of the food was awful. It was bland, dry and the salad looked old and limp. Pasta is on the menu and the barmaid said they don't do any pasta dishes. I'd like to know why it is on the menu. We won't be going there again

The food has improved lately after having gone down hill previously, £5 burger offer on a wed is good value, and the salted caramel cheesecake is good apparently.

Came in today with my mum. I had gammon and she had the steak. It was lovely. No complaints. The guy working the bar today about 12-1pm was a really nice guy, I didn't get his name, big stocky bald guy, he was a nice bloke. We've been a few times for food and it's always been nice.

Popped in with a few friends yesterday for the pub quiz, place was very busy but service was still quick and friendly. We arrived around 7, was greeted by the lady behind the bar and told us where we where sat for the evening. I ordered the Southern Fried chicken burger as its only £5 for Burgers on a Wednesday. Me and my party really enjoyed the quiz, we shall be returning next week.

Staff are better than the venue friendly helpful service, venue a bit outdated but clean none the less.

Booked a table for a Mother’s Day dinner, when we got there it was packed with people watching football and not many of them bothered to mind their language despite us having a child with us. Went to the bar to order and was told food would be 40 minutes - okay, maybe it was just busy. When the food came out it didn’t even look appetising. The kids burger looked like a mini rustlers burger that had been blitzed in the microwave and came with a handful of thick cut chips (luckily the child isn’t too picky). Adult burger was dry and the bottom bun was soggy, again had the feeling of a microwave burger, the chips that came with it were very over done. Roast turkey roll was horrific, turkey looked and tasted like it was processed turkey that had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, the roll was chewy and processed to death, the roasties were overcooked and solid and the jug of gravy was very thick and still had granules that hadn’t dissolved. Mums beef roast dinner was up there as the worst. Carrots were raw, as were the peas. Instant mash smothered in granulated gravy, overcooked roast potatoes, and the roast beef needed a steak knife and that still struggled to cut it. Mum actually walked away with a pain in her hand from cutting the beef (she has arthritis). We did had sides (Mac and cheese, pigs in blankets) but those were also microwaved cheap dishes. Puddings were alright but wasn’t enough to save the meal. And £3 for half a coke? Jesus Christ!! Really shocking as we love the other green kings pubs around Gosport and remembered this one being so good a while back. The real shame is that the loveliest staff we’ve ever met have the embarrassing burden of serving this terrible food. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back.

Came in for Mother’s Day fantastic service and food. Was very busy but guys were top notch. The roast was very good also great value.

Came in with the family very hungover after a wedding the day before 15 of us in total the staff were fantastic getting us a table at such short notice. Had a few drinks and food the burger is such great value and kids meals are a very good portion.

Myself, my daughter and my partner went to the white hart pub to meet friends and have something to eat, the football was on the wide-screen tv's which was a bonus. The pub had a live acoustic band called M3M which were fantastic! First time I had the roast dinner which was turkey for the option of meat that Sunday. Very nicely cooked, children's meals are very good price and the kitchen manager was very helpful when I asked for more gravy as the children's meals weren't given any but were supposed to have ( minor human error) 😀 it was busy but nice atmosphere, with the male bar staff being very sufficient and helpful when ordering food. Big thankyou to Chris, ethan, yan and Adam for always being so helpful and giving great customer service

Went for my daughters birthday had heard good things about the pub as it had changed hands but in fact it hadn’t but there was definitely a change in the mood of the staff nothing was too much. There was 6 of us the food was hot and fresh looking. They even managed to bring out a slice of cake with a candle for my daughter which was brilliant. Will definitely be back thanks for a lovely time.

Always a solid 9/10 here Came in for the footy had a burger with curry sauce it’s crazy how much it tasted like chippy curry sauce. Pub seems to be really going places now as it seemed to have lost its way.

Good food, lots of entertainment and affordable drinks, staff were polite and professional, lots of food choices and a very well stocked bar.

A Green King pub so yes pub food is good. Very disapointing was the lack of ales at the bar, even IPA was off, only 3 ale pumps amongs a myriad of amber beers and of course the required Guineas. Sorry I didn't stay long enough to find out if it was super cold or not. Can't put my finger on it but maybe it would feel more comfortable with a few more visits. Thing is there are other pubs in the area needing a visit or two.00

We were served by coral who was very attentive and I ordered some food and she ensured I had no allergies or anything. It was service with a smile And nothing was too much. Lovely clean venue and the atmosphere from the staff and punters was brilliant Thankyou

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitres Coral always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

Me and my partner have been to this pub numerous amounts of time and the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. However last night we decided to go for dinner and I went to the bar to order and I was told that there’s no food being served and that there’s signs everywhere he said abruptly and was just rude. We weren’t aware there was no food being served the member of staff was wearing a Christmas jumper and glasses.

Great food, great pub, great staff and a really friendly atmosphere too. If I could give more than 5 stars I would do I'd highly recommend coming here espically on a Wednesday night for the Quiz.

Food is reasonable at a reasonabke price with different deals on different days. Service is hit an miss, usually good, but on a few occasions staff have been quite blunt. Generally a very good atmosphere regardless of time of day

Booked for Sunday roast when we arrived, no info on our booking, even though I had confirmation, but did manage to get us a table but there was no Sunday roast left when we arrived despite booking.Picked another meal but no Cumberland sausage. 3rd time lucky, but not what I really wanted to eat, but only because it was available was not bad. Not a friendly atmosphere. Gave 3 stars and they had a band playing who were very good. Don't think I will be returning, I booked as roast was suppose to be amazing, but never got to sample so can't comment. Very disappointed as this was first time to White Hart. We have been to several Greene King establishments and previously had exceptional experience.

Waited over an hour for food,although the barman was apologetic it wasn't mentioned when I ordered that the wait was long.

Dropped in for lunch Friday lunchtime. Good value freshly cooked food. Hubby loved the apple pie. Two lads behind the bar were very helpful and pleasant. Cricket seemed popular on TV with customers.

Plenty of space to enjoy a meal with the family on a lunch time. Food was nice and no problems with any of the meals. Parents eat here quite a lot and always enjoy the meals. Fairly cheap pool tables £1.50 a game. Which compared to some places is quite cheap

Went there for a all day roast dinner,and had nothing available,this was at 445pm,waste of time advising a alday roast dinner when it's not available even at that time! Happy to sell you a burger though!

It's been refurbished and is much smarter. The food is typical pub grub, cheap and cheerful and you pay for what you get. Staff are polite and friendly. Update: Aug 23 Bouncers on the door at 7pm, plastic glasses at 7pm, music so loud you couldn't chat, steak pie was just gravy and fat, rock hard mash and cold peas!! Will not go back.. plus side staff were great, very helpful and made up for everything else.

Stopped off for a beer as had been here before on earlier visit. Nice and cool inside. Beer (had the IPA) enjoyable, and price for the little I had reasonable. Young fellow serving managed well on his own...

Out for a walk, after passing about four pubs that have closed for good, we found this one. Beer and staff ok.

Small business meeting, easiest location for colleagues coming from all over. Food was delicious and a lot of different options for all dietary requirements ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Service poor, rude staff and aggressive

I enjoyed having the pool tables there. Good selection of drinks at a reasonable price. Was popular with plenty of people inside. Toilets were small and dated. Security staff were friendly as well as bar staff. Did leave early as was disappointing to hear it was policy to drink from plastic glasses from 8pm. Anyone who drinks lager knows this is a poor option. Maybe this is a trial policy or weekend only thing but was enough for me to leave. Shame as was good atmosphere.
