Had trouble finding the Country Park but once we had, afternoon tea & ice cream were a must in this little cafe. The ice-cream is just fantastic - you must try the UNICORN flavour!

Came to the play park yesterday (Monday) and had such a good experience at the coffee cup, we will definitely be returning. The young girl on shift was excellent with my kids, and had all the patience in the world as they kept changing their minds! Our order was made very efficiently and quickly and she always had a smile on her face, no matter how busy it got. All in all a very positive experience!

The coffee shop is perfectly positioned for the playpark, toilets and car-park, all in the same location. The lady serving on the Thursday teatime when we were there was fabulous. Really helpful, tolerant of the children and efficient. Two children, had hot sausage baps which were very nice, a mocha and a bottle of cola, plus a free babycino; total just under £14, so not a cheap place to eat a snack, but paying for the convenience next the the park. Coffee shop and tables outside were spotlessly clean. Menu as was expected, baps, rolls, toasties, cakes/pastries, and crisps. You couldn't have a meal there, but great for grabbing a quick food top-up. Elderly grand-parents would find it a great place to sit and have a coffee whilst watching other family members in the playpark. So not a quiet location if that's what you're looking for. I would use it again and picked up a loyalty card to collect tokens towards a free coffee - It's collect 9 stickers to get your 10th drink free.

Slow service, overpriced food and drink. Would spend money in Lee on Solent village instead. Wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve stopped off here a few times when out for a walk and I’d highly recommend it for anyone who fancies a takeaway drink and a snack. The coffee is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. As a small concession in a country park it offers a good selection of products and there’s a nice outdoor area to sit and watch the World go by. It’s a takeaway shop so don’t expect lavish indoor seating or a high end cooked menu but it is a family friendly little place that is spot on if you’re out and about and fancy a coffee pit stop.

You need to take out a second mortgage for a coffee with the family here, and it’s still isn’t very nice. Two small tarts, 2 hot chocolates and two coffee - £25!!! It’s cheaper at costa! Staff are emotionless and don’t listen to what you order, so you end up paying more money for something you don’t even get. Won’t be going back to this place - shame I can’t leave 0 stars. If you want a decent cup of coffee, take a flask of your own.

Visited Alver Valley for the first time. After walking around the park on a bitterly cold day we thought we would warm up with a coffee. The coffee was great but really surprised there was no indoor seating which would have been really welcome on such a cold day. Assistant was friendly and efficient.

We popped in after playing in the park and had delicious vanilla milkshakes. The cakes looked very inviting and we will return!

The staff were so polite, friendly and made a brilliant flat white! The ice creams that our children had were made with really good quality ice cream and waffle cones. Our children ran out of water in their bottles, the lady happily refilled with water and ice for them. Lots of cakes to choose from and tables to sit at outside in the shade or sun! Would definitely recommend 👌🏻

I like the Coffee Cup outlets but I was annoyed today. I had a card which says very clearly collect 9 stickers to get your 10th drink FREE. Last time I went I had the ninth sticker and was told my next drink would be free. Today I ordered a coffee and gave in the card to get a free drink. I was told no and that I needed 10 stickers and the 11th would be free. I am afraid this has reduced my opinion of Coffee Cup.

Thanks to the brilliant staff at The Powder Monkey who found and returned my lost card on Friday. As always they were helpful, friendly & courteous - Great service and fantastic ales. Thoroughly recommend 😊

Well I turned up half an hour before its advertised closing time to the evident annoyance of the staff. Tried ignoring me and when that didnt work reluctantly served me and forced me to listen to a rant about how they were just about to close. The finale to this performance was deliberately putting the cup of coffee as far away as possible on the counter. My tip if you want to close early shut the door and put up a closed sign. Absolute height of rudeness. The coffee was ok

Under new Management since around May, seen a few Landlords/Landladies over the years, but the latest seem to be struggling getting things right! Firstly it was teething problems then it was the Euro’s, but what use is a Bar with no beer & soft drinks?? They seem to be consistently running out of beer, wine, spirits & soft drinks. On one of the visits there was only 2 pumps on, no Pepsi on the gun or soft drinks in cans, vodka. Please don’t presume that the bottles on the optics are House Spirits, check price before requesting, especially as the splash is even more than requesting say half of Pepsi. Prices are consistently changing from day to day. Wine selection is not great, that is if they have any. Pool table is not in the greatest place, especially at one part of the bar. I do believe they also have The Tap across the water, never been, so only comment I can make is that if it is run the same way as the The Five Alls I will not be visiting in future.

I was unaware that this shop has now turned into a love me love my dog kennel. I object strongly to drinking my coffee with smelly dogs it should be a clean eating establishment
