Best breakfast in Town. The bacon is to die for, all fresh cooked and good prices. Great survivor of Covid times when so many cafes closed for good.

A great cafe with inside and outside seating. Perfect for watching the world go by. Very good food with great friendly service. One not to be missed.

Went in for ice cream with kids. Staff were so miserable and rude when we want to sit in. Evet kids said why they are so rude. Will never go back there ever again!

Lovely place to have a hot chocolate and a coffee in the evening they did decaf which was quite important, Lovely chap running the coffee shop, will be back for a large hot chocolate with big marshmallows.

I’ve been the Foundry 4/5 times & I always find the staff efficient and pleasant. The drinks are tasty and at reasonable price and I really enjoy sitting at the counters at the front facing into the station watching people mill about while drinking from the weird cups (bamboo, maybe?) The only thing I haven’t enjoyed is a vegan muffin which was a bit dry. Last week my ditzy friend tipped her hot chocolate over me (thank goodness I had layers on!). It made quite a mess on me, the countertop and the floor and the lovely barista quickly supplied us a load of blue roll to clean ourselves up. While I tried to dry my clothes as much as possible, my friend’s drink was replenished. My friend saw the same the barista most gentlemanly assist an elderly man to get up from his seat (assistance was required!) and get moving. Anyway, I’ll be there again & again.

Love this bar and it really comes alive at night, thanks to DJ Fergus.

Very nice lunch, reasonable and interesting menu. Great cardamon and rose coffee, loved it. They seem to have got the mix of food spot on.

Perfect spot for breakfast or lunch, staff were super kind, considerate and attentive and are very good with requests for food like taking thing out of meals to accommodate ( if you don’t like tomato’s don’t fret 🤭) super refreshing drinks and good food that doesn’t make you feel icky after! Perfect vibe from staff to make the cafe feel enjoyable

Enjoyed a great afternoon tea in a delightful friendly cafe with great staff and comfortable surroundings. Food was fresh and tasty beautifully served. Great way to top off a seaside walk. We booked but it had tables for walk ins and the regular drinks and cakes looked equally good.

I celebrated my 28th birthday at Simply Patisserie on 6 October. Born on a Sunday so wanted to celebrate in style with an afternoon tea with 6 of my friends. My friends and I had such a delightful experience. It is a cosy and welcoming environment with good lighting and very clean. There is a good selection of tea available. Thank you for being so accomedating to my needs for gluten and dairy free and for going out of your way to order it in for my very special day. Thank you for the beautiful birthday card. I had a wondeful time and highly recommend it to other birthday gals to be.
