A surprisingly different breakfast. Fantastic. The staff were friendly and obliging. I would definitely go there again.

This Cafe maybe small but it has a massif big heart of solid Gold. The owner and the regulars made my wife and I most welcome. The coffee was amazing as was our very warm tea cakes. We used this cafe all the time we were in Eastbourne and it didn't disappoint us once either for breakfast or lunch, Had a few lunches as well and according to my wife the best cheese toasty ever. Thank you for making our stay in Eastbourne that so much richer

Best breakfast in Town. The bacon is to die for, all fresh cooked and good prices. Great survivor of Covid times when so many cafes closed for good.

Tremendous local cafe serving good, traditional English dishes, from breakfast fry-ups to roast lamb and cottage pie lunches. Always some fish on the menu too. But the real attraction is the place itself. Very cosy and quaint with its two friendly and accommodating proprietors always keen to make sure you’re happy. Highly recommended.

Very nice café with some unfair or incorrect/inappropriate reviews. I have recently moved to the area and really enjoy my coffee and scones at Corros. The owner always give visitors a warm welcome, the staff are nice. The decor is very stylish and the staff have a uniform dress code. The coffee is excellent. I read two ‘never again’ type reviews and found them a bit unfair, incorrect and inappropriate? One Lady really hammered the place. She said she went with friends and her 19month old who she sat on a spare table to play with cars. How did she know it was a spare table? I am assuming that her friends came alone without children? If they did not then they could be quite a large and noisy group?Corro’s is a nice escape but not a big place so a large group with kids may be better looking elsewhere and I hope they did. Another review said something about soy and it being provided by the cafe in a bad way on three visits? It doesn’t say if she/he brought this up at any stage.IMHO and experience,if you are not happy isn’t it best to address the issues with the staff as you go?If you are still unhappy then you can ask to speak to management. This would help you and the café? I am a satisfied regular and not affiliated with the business or TA. I would like to say that customers can feel confident that Corro’s team is friendly, professional and approachable.

I had often walked by the cafe and said we must book up to go there. Anyway, my wife booked me to go as a birthday treat. I was excited to go and see all the cats. On arrival for our booked slot we entered the front door and was held there by a second door where the attendant talked through a grill in the window to verify our booking. She seemed a little rattled and officious. We proceeded to be let through and directed to our table. After sitting down she was quick to present the rules and do’s and dont’s about interacting with the cats and again she came across as officious and not welcoming and friendly. By this time I was already feeling uneasy and. Anyway we proceeded to order a drink and some food. This arrived swiftly and was off a good standard. I had ordered a banana milkshake which was delicious. Having finished it a cat jumped on the table and proceeded to lick the residue of cream before I had time to move the glass the attendant angrily raised her voice in a condescending way, said “could you keep the cat away from that as all cats are lactose intolerant” and huffed thereafter! We left soon after somewhat disappointed about our experience- and did it feel we were not treated as valued customers and because of the lack Of friendly service it felt a strained atmosphere and overall uninviting - we won’t return!

My partner and I went to a Disney Quiz Night here and it was amazing. We were recommended to try going here by a friend and I’ll definitely be recommending them and going back lots! The staff are so friendly with amazing service as well as everything being reasonable priced.

So asked for a decaffe coffee(skinny)no skimmed milk, which is common these days in lots of businesses . I asked for a biscuit too sort of pastry/biscuit from a jar.Not big at all and certainly not as nice as cake.I was charged £7 .for these too items.Biscuit thing was stale and no walnuts to be seen as stated.£4 for a latte?See you later Urban Ground.
