This Cafe maybe small but it has a massif big heart of solid Gold. The owner and the regulars made my wife and I most welcome. The coffee was amazing as was our very warm tea cakes. We used this cafe all the time we were in Eastbourne and it didn't disappoint us once either for breakfast or lunch, Had a few lunches as well and according to my wife the best cheese toasty ever. Thank you for making our stay in Eastbourne that so much richer

Fresco is a cafe and ice cream shop in the main road to the beach in Eastbourne. It has seating both inside and outside, in sunshine if you’re lucky. It is very clean and serves coffee, tea and snacks, such as sandwiches and baguettes Helpful staff work here.

Definitely the best coffee and atmosphere in town. Klaude the owner and his assistant Gerti are just such nice friendly guys who give a service second to none. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly and polite service. Limited choice of snacks and cakes, but maybe because I visited in the afternoon. Coffee is pretty tasty though. The place is quite small and it gets very loud even if only few customers are inside. I would probably not come back to eat in, but I will definitely get a takeaway coffee on my way to the beach.

My partner and I stumbled across this cafe when looking for somewhere for a light lunch after arriving in Eastbourne an hour or so before. It was exactly what we were looking for and everything is made to order. The guys serving did a great job and we were very impressed by the cafe. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and I asked my partner if she wanted any crisps and we were told that the sandwiches come with a side of crisps. Little things like that matter, as if it was all about money then they could have ignored the comment and let us buy the crisps seperately. If you're looking for a little cafe to have a lunch then I would definately recommend Fresco, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys!

One of the best latte’s I’ve had. Limited menu choice probably due to time of year. Nice ham and cheese toasted sandwich but had to settle for toasted tea cake as no Victoria sandwich. Will return again next time in Eastbourne as coffee and staff the best in town.

We have only tried coffee and it was excellent! Proper coffee made by a nice guy who really knows what he is doing !! Definitely try it if you are there! Location is also great!

Always a joy to go. Friendly clientele and Claude the proprietor is a delight. Coffee is creamy smooth and right up my alley. Love the outside sun trap for watching world go by and chatting to whoever is there. Has become my go to place for daily mind levelling. and a superb caffein libation.

Stopped for a cappuccino coffee. Excellent, strong and freshly made. Not weak & milky like the chain cafes.

Sat outside Fresco’s on a sunny autumnal afternoon. Cappuccino was so delicious I went back the next day for another. This time I ordered a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. It was perfect and served with a handful of crisps. I was served by Claud who was polite and friendly. Will definitely go back. Cappuccino there is much better and tastier than other well-known coffee houses.

I haven’t eaten there yet but the food I’ve seen being served looks fresh and appetising. The best tasting coffee in town and friendly service. Great little cafe 👍

So many reasons to visit this cafe......Coffee is lovely and the Toasted Sandwiches are delicious . Very clean and reasonable prices. The owner Claude is so friendly, chatty and welcoming. Pop in if you want great coffee, good atmosphere and the best service in town.

We had a stay over at Cavendish Hotel just a street away from the cafe, and becouse at breakfast their coffee was horrible we walked with my husband at Fresco to grab 2 coffees and have it on the beach. Such a lovely place, great prices and the staff is very polite. We really enjoyed the tasty coffees and returned the next day as well. Highly recommended!

I am a regular at fresco cafe as you will always be made to feel welcome by friendly Claude or Lydia, his wife. No exaggeration (as I have tasted most of eastbourne cafe's coffee previously), fresco has the best tasting coffee in eastbourne.

I visited with my nana who is a very fussy eater. Plenty of choice for sandwiches and jacket potatoes and a good cup of tea. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend.

When we are in Eastbourne we visit Freshco every lunch time. Best coffee and hot chocolate in Eastbourne. Sandwiches are good too. Staff always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. All in all a little gem.

We visit Frecos regularly as we live close by. Always a very warm friendly welcome, great choice of sandwiches etc and very, very tasty. The coffee is outstanding - the best in Eastbourne.

Lovely coffee, food always fresh and tasty, especially like the toasted sandwiches and the jacket potatoes. Services is always very friendly and welcoming. Everything is reasonably prices and good value, enjoy sitting outside on a sunny day with a coffee, or in side when the weather isn't as nice, the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly.

Claude and his staff continue to deliver an exceptional cup of coffee alongside a fantastic range of cakes and sandwiches. Fresco has for some years and will always be my cafe of choice in my home town.

This coffee shop claims to serve the best coffee in town, with some justification. The young couple who run Fresco are exceptionally friendly and helpful and their food is first class. Best time to visit is on a sunny day, taking one of their pavement tables where you can watch the world go by, within sight of the sea (and even have a smoke!) One word of warning - if you eat here, keep an eye on swooping greedy seagulls!

I visited Fresco for the first time this year. I wanted to see if it was still as good as before. It was! For friendly service, tempting snacks and delicious drinks Fresco is still fab. Would recommend without any hesitation.

Popped in for a ham and cheese baguette. What I got was soft and well sized with generous amounts of ham and cheese. Cost £3.10 but very much worth it.

Love this place, we visit every year on our annual trip to Eastbourne, low cost but decent light bites, try the tuna baguette, really good. Very friendly owner and always a pleasure eating here.

I have been on holiday for a week enjoying Eastbourne including Fresco a clean, welcoming coffee shop. The owner Claude is friendly and always please to see you. In my opinion he serves the best coffee in Eastbourne, the food is good as well. If your in Eastbourne it is worth trying this coffee shop.

We need outside seating .. which there was .... it is a sandwich/meal café. We had a sandwich which I have to say was amazing with a lovely iced coffee (recommend)

We called in here for a coffee as it was open & near our hotel! The next day we called in again. The owners are very friendly and welcoming & recognise you. They have lots of regular clients which is a good sign.

Fresco coffee shop has an amazing position, i is very close to the sea and the coffee was very tasty. The place is very easy- going and a little bit dirty. The service was good and the staff friendly and smiling.

Very good food at a very reasonable price. The grilled paninis were great! Owner was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!

Fresco coffee shop is ideally located just of Eastbourne seafront and 3 minutes walk from Eastbourne Pier. Great coffe, sandwiches and cake. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

This is a lovely little cafe. Me and my partner stop here sometimes for a bite to eat. They do the most nicest panini's and toasted sandwiches with all different fillings. Great service, always with a smile.

My parents live in Eastbourne and every time I visit we go to Fresco for lunch. It is a lovely sun trap, has comfortable tables and chairs out front and the food and coffee is outstanding. They have a huge selection of Italian themed sandwiches that we usually pick from, however they do a wide range of other lights meals as well. The owner and staff are friendly and attentive and the quality of the food and value for money is excellent.

Went to Eastbourne with my mum last week for a few days. We were looking for somewhere for a coffee and a light lunch. So glad we decided to try this lovely little place. Great coffee and paninis, cakes and a hugh selection of sandwiches etc. Glad we found it on out first day because we went back for the other two days of our break. I was astonished to find such an unassuming place rated as one of the most popular out of 311 in Eastbourne. As it is located near my home I thought I should give it a try again.

EVERY year we travel to Eastbourne with a group of line dancers we encourage all our dancers to grab their lunch in the cafe the owner always remembers our group even what we like to eat. We stay 3 days and eat or drink there everyday. On a personal note he knows I am a huge football fan and puts the games on for me To watch whilst the wife Goes shopping. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

I'm a tea lover, and don't usually drink coffee, however living near the cafe, I can often smell their coffee and find myself regularly tempted. I'm very surprised to read Natasha's review, as I've always found the service there very good. The owner / operators are most welcoming. If you drink outside, you can also see the sea whilst enjoying your coffee. Light snacks are available, good range at very competitive prices. If you want coffee in Eastbourne, give this place a go, enjoy a great drink with nice views and support a small business (with better products and prices) rather than a tax dodging giant!

It was our first time to Eastbourne on 8th Sep and We chose this place from the reviews. When we got there, no one was there. We waited for 5 mins but still no one came. As we were walking out the person working there walked in at the same time, did not acknowledge us or try to make stay. Very shocking!!!!! This is not as good as people make out.

Stayed in Eastbourne in B&B; so needed a good restaurant for our dinner really glad we picked Henrys bistro food was great and good value ,we are thinking of moving to Eastbourne if we do will be using more often

I came to eastbourne on business and popped in to fresco for a quick bite and coffee which were fresh great coffee well done.

My partner and I consider ourselves regulars at this lovely coffee shop on our evening walks. It's so lovely to know we can get proper coffee (and a cheeky cake or biscuit) in the evening. Whether we arrive when the cafe is bustling or when it's quieter we're always met with a warm friendly greeting. Great coffee, great service, highly recommended!!

My friends & I always meet in this outstanding cafe. It is spotlessly clean . The food is made to order and always great value . On Summer days many choose to sit outside . There is a daily paper to peruse if you're waiting for company to arrive . Liqueur is available if you want to stiffen up your cofee !!

Used to go to all the mainstream coffee places in Eastbourne. Since we found Fresco we don't go anywhere else! Claude is fantastic & very accommodating as well!

On my many visits to Eastbourne, I always make time to pop into Fresco for a coffee. Always met with a handshake, chat and a very welcome smile, the menu of hot and cold sandwiches is extensive and beautifully prepared. Sit on the terrace and watch the world go by with a glass of wine. Highly recommended.

An excellent place to stop for a coffee or a cheeky glass of wine after a stroll along the seafront. Unlike many other seafront cafes it stays open late every evening. Always a friendly welcome. I can recommend the latte.

Great cafe on the row of restaurants on Terminus Road, leading down from city centre to the sea. My husband had coffee there on his own early yesterday and insisted I had to come with him this morning before we left. It's advertised as the best coffee in Eastbourne and they were both right, it was great and the owner is really friendly as well - next time we'll try the food, menu looks good.

My wife and I go to Fresco at least once a week and we've always found it to be excellent. The chap who runs it is very friendly and seems popular with all his customers. The menu is what you would expect if you are after a light lunch, snack or just a coffee and the service is quick and efficient.

We're local and visit here nearly every Sunday, hubby always has the palermo (his favorite) and it's the best coffee in town. Owner and staff always friendly and welcoming, nice family run business and you never feel rushed. I also visit on my own and meet up with friends there but it's always the same welcome. This place has the most friendliest owner and staff in the town no matter what time of day you pop in. We live in Eastbourne but this is the place we meet in the day for lunch with friends and take the grandchildren who are little ones who are some times a bit noisy and messy dropping food, the staff just shrug off and welcome us all the time when returning. So family friendly.

Good food here for a quick lunch near the pier. My partner had a jacket potato with ham and coleslaw, which she loved and I enjoyed a tuna baguette, with some crisps. We visited here twice and had the same. Service is quick and the staff are super, really friendly and make you want to come back again, which we will next time we are in Eastbourne. It's such a pleasure when you are away from home to be welcomed with a friendly face.

Virtually every combination of sandwich or Panini going with a few special one's thrown in. We opted for sandwiches, served nicely in triangles with crisps and plenty of filling. Coffee is good as well.

Popped in briefly late-afternoon to get a sandwich for our baby who was hungry, ended up sitting outdoors in the pavement cafe and having a few drinks outdoors. The man running it was pleasant and friendly, brought out her sandwich which looked good, and we had a couple of beers and soft drinks. It seemed a nice place to watch the world go by, and from other customers sitting there, seemed to have a lot of regulars and italan ex-pats visiting.

Great place to visit for a coffee. Excellent service and friendly owner. Well worth the visit. If you're looking for a cafe that's open later in the evenings especially during the summer this is the place to visit, and with outside seating it's lovely on warm summer evenings.
