The Mulberry in Eastbourne

The restaurant is clean light and airy with the sort of table layout you expect when dining out. Food is of a very high standard and beautifly presented. I t was a joy to be attended by professinal staff with an attentive and well informed Maitre. The best servioce I've had recently and I would love to return.

Fabulous Food, Friendly Staff nothing was to much , definitely Recommend a visit , Carvery was fantastic, Melt in your mouth Meats , Do the locals know what they have on there doorstep, yum yum

We went for a cavery at The Mulberry and it was absolutley delicious. Meat cooked to perfection, and plenty of fresh veg. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The decor is modern, clean and stylish. We will definatley be returning, this is a little hidden gem in Eastbourne. Wonderful!

My family and I came for a Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed! The restaurant decor is fresh and there is a good, chilled out atmosphere. The service is incredible and all of the members of staff we spoke to were attentive and polite. They made sure to check up on us. The owners clearly care about their work and it is easy to see a lot of love has gone into the restaurant and menu. We ate a Carvery lunch and it was incredible. The chef is very talented and we were so impressed. I personally had beef and some other members of our party had chicken and lamb and we all said how well cooked it was. We had stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, potato’s, mash, veg and cauliflower cheese and it was truly delicious. For pudding I chose to have the sticky toffee pudding and it was beautiful, I cannot fault it. If I could return here for lunch every Sunday I honestly would. It was one of, if not the best roast dinner I have had in a very very long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Eastbourne because the food is impeccable.

We visited the Mulberry with friends for the Sunday Carvery. The food was superb and the service was great, really friendly staff. We were made to feel really welcome. The desserts were delicious too. We will definitely be back again soon.

A large group of us (11 adults and 7 children) visited this lovely local hotel for a carvery today! We were all very impressed! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, fantastic service and the food was absolutely delicious! We already can’t wait to visit again!

Went to the carvery here while staying at the New Wilmington Hotel. Excellent Sunday carvery, with very professional but friendly service. A good location just behind the sea front within easy walking distance of the Wish Tower, theatres and Towner Gallery. Highly recommended.

We had a group dinner today 23 of us , great food , great service and a very warm atmosphere and welcoming, we have been here many a time for a Carvery it’s always been a good food and hospitality 🥃🍷Brilliant

Visited the Mulberry Restaurant, for the first time with the family(2 adults, 2 children).we had the sunday carvery, absolutely out this world, great service, great decor, but the food, only one word can describe AMAZING. If your nearby and want a fantastic sunday lunch or a brilliant venue to eat any other time, look no further, you wont be disappointed. We will be back visiting very soon.

Delicious carvery. Really reasonably priced, lovely surroundings and really friendly staff who were great with my grumpy 3 year old!! Will be back again soon

The mulberry carvery is outstanding. I had pork with crackling and the beef which was cooked to perfection. The chef gave a good sized portion with the best roast potatoes. Plenty of veg was brought to the table. It was a really good lunch with an added bonus of great singer crooning away creating the perfect laid back atmosphere you hope for.

Great food, really good value. Had evening meals and breakfasts over a two night stay. Can't fault the food at any meal

Dined at the Mulberry three times over the Christmas period and was very impressed. The quality, cooking and presentation of dinner each night was remarkable. Tried the terrine and fish cakes (starters) and spiced belly pork and steak (mains) and they were fantastic. Service was excellent. Will definitely come back.

I needed to be pampered on a 4 day break-this is the place.The main problem was returning home-like I didn't want to!Stayed at The New Wilmington Hotel,as I have on&off for over "20" yrs&dined at The Mulberry(I can still taste the perfectly cooked lamb shank,Dave.).Breakfast banana only available on request,otherwise rather nice.I like the hot plates(a rarity these days),also plenty of fresh veg at dinnertime.Very clean hotel&the best staff in town:Superstar Jon on reception,goes the extra km&Charlotte in the Mulberry leaves no stone unturned.Ina looked after my lovely room:plumbing,tv superb+interesting views upstairs@the front.Joined in the Friday inhouse disco.Invited a friend to stay for 24hrs&he was really impressed,with the overall staff efficiency& NO jobsworths.I'm very pleased with the recent changes&have warned Liam,that I will return asap.Sincere thanks to the NEW owners.

Very good menu. Hot food served on HOT plates. Very rare these days. Vegetables properly cooked and not raw. Food well presented. Excellent service

El restaurante es parte del hotel y muchos de los huéspedes del hotel comimos allí en la noche, cenamos allí y la comida era saludable, sabroso y bien preparado. Las porciones no eran grandes, pero eran adecuadas, los precios muy razonables y el personal (como el hotel) era muy amable y servicial con gluten requisitos gratis de mi esposa. Fácil lugar para comer después de un duro día viendo tenis.

We ate dinner and breakfast here whilst staying at the New Wilmington Hotel, food was very good with plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly and courteous.

Excellent meals- had breakfast and dinner=good choice good service and catered brilliantly for a gluten free diet.

A varied tasty menu on offer and all food was eaten completely. Breakfast was lovely too. lots to choose from.

Extensive choice and served on a hot plate. Beautiful breakfast. Plenty of cold choices if preferred.

Two of us had dinner here on April the 1st! Fortunately the meal was anything but a joke. Well cooked food, nicely presented, fairly priced and attentive service. Nothing special in terms of ambience , probably suffers a bit from being "a restaurant in a hotel" so tucked away a bit behind the main drag but well worth looking for. It was a quiet midweek night so we were the last to finish our meal but never felt rushed or as though the staff were anxious to get rid of us. Would certainly recommend for a good meal, in pleasant surroundings and no pretentions, just good food and efficient service.

I visited with my Mum during my pre-Christmas stay at her house - she lives locally and wanted to try dinner after having a drink there one Saturday.The menu was a little limited in choice for dinner but put this down to it being quiet and 2 days before Christmas. That said the food was super tasty - I'd describe it as home cooking with flare. A little fancy but not fussy. The portion sizes were good and the little touches made it special. The chicken in the main course was very well cooked and the mince pie strudel was gorgeous.The staff were a dream, so friendly, attentive and efficient - I felt like we were being welcomed into a family members home. As we left we were thanked and given kisses on the cheek.When I come to see my Mum I often walk past these hotels and think how dreadful they look but this is a real diamond in the rough. The food and staff are better than the bigger posher hotels. I would recommend this for couples and families alike - I look forward to my next visit.

i went here in the morning just for some toast and a coffee and milkshake. and i enjoyed it in here the staff were great the girls let me charge my phone as me battery had died so it wasent a problem for me to do that i was on holidays from wales and glad i called in the food lovely service great will call in again when im in eastbourne.

We took the family here on the last night of our stay and had a brilliant evening. Every single member of our family said the food was superb and the service was excellent! We will definitely eat here again on our next visit and would recommend it!
