I’ve been to Cafe Corro a few times over the years and used to really enjoy it! I’d usually get a soya latte and a baked treat. In previous years it was really tasty, however upon my last few visits in the last 8 months it’s been absolutely dreadful. I’m not sure what soya milk they’re using or how they’re heating it or if they’ve changed the coffee but it’s genuinely disgusting and after giving it 3 more chances after noticing it was gross it’s still genuinely undrinkable. Really gutted as it was so nice. I was going to email them this privately but they don’t have a contact email, which is also not great.

Corro isnt hearing impaired friendly. I need to take my dog plus trainer to a cafe in the Old Town area near 2 shops for an assessment for his Silver award. Green Street seemed ideal. Sadly with No email. I cant check without email. Too embarassing to open the door and be told No Dogs. I wish TripAdviser has category questions dor deaf friendliness. I seem to recall Corro is nt partially hearing friendly anyway. B4 my dog,A friend and I went. The noise was loud, tables close, nothing on the walls (which didnt have glass), and no noise buffers in the corners of the copious windows. There may have been carpet but no noise reducing ceiling tiles. The owner said thongs would change Friend tells me it hasnt. I hope RuthA yling Ellis can help change things like this

We drop in here on our way to Eastbourne occasionally. And it has become a treat for us to do so. They serve great coffee and I’m sure their food is equally good but it’s the Almond Croissants we love. The lady who owns/runs this cafe knows all of her regulars and as I sit here, I see her catching up with them as she makes the coffee. Customers are willing to wait for quality coffee and this, to me, is a great sign of customer satisfaction. I would recommend this cafe highly and will be crack to enjoy another croissant!

A small corner café in Old Town Eastbourne , Popular with single people, families and friendship groups. Not for the partially hearing nor hearing aid wearers. Tables are close. Full length glass windows. The manageress of the café was interested when the first opened we talked about simple remedies. However no tiny fringe curtains, wall hangings , tapesties or soft furnishing have appeared. Several people have said to me 'never again' Try The Café or Café Aroma instead for a quiet cuppa and conversation.

My friends and I are very upset with the attitude of the owner. We go there every Wednesday for a chat, cake and coffee and I took my 19 month old son. Who is very well behaved but like most boys of his age he likes to play with his police cars on the floor where we sat and on the spare seat on the spare table in the corner. He was not doing anybody any harm. Even customers kept coming up to him to say hello which he politely smiled back and carried on playing. The filthy glares we received from the owner/manager were unbearable. I went up to her counter as i wanted to move the sugar bowl just in case he knocked it over and i tried to make conversation with her, she wouldn't even look at me and just grunted. We definitely were not welcome, very surprised with her attitude considering she has children herself. We normally all buy a round of coffee each and a cake/scone but will never be returning. We thought children were welcome but obviously not. We are all locals and so disappointed as this coffee shop is on our door step.

I visited Caffe Corro today with my mum after we had been in a long blustery walk. We arrived about 2.15 having not had lunch and feeling very hungry. I thought there was every chance that the cafe wouldn't have any sandwiches left as it was late but they still had a great selection of fresh paninis which were delicious. The cafe is very nicely decorated, very clean and spacious, lots of mags and papers to read whilst you have a lovely fresh and piping hot coffee or tea. Good selection of hot and cold drinks, lots of yummy cakes which all looked great quality. Friendly staff and over all well worth a visit. Reasonably priced too. I visited with my uncle over the weekend as we're on the look out for the best coffee house in Eastbourne. We've tried various chains and independent coffee houses but never been fully satisfied usually due to the likes of the coffee being served Luke warm instead of hot, or it simply taking too long to be made. This place is fantastic, the coffee is hot and gets brought to your table. It's always quite busy and even better knowing its at the bottom of my road.

My husband and I really like the ambience of this coffee shop. The Corros took a big risk in opening this venture when they took over an empty Thresher's Bottle Store and local people did wonder if a coffee shop would take off in this small parade of shops. Well, from Day One Corros has been buzzing with people - old and young, families and singles. There is a variety of seating from the comfort of leather armchairs to the usual tables and chairs. I would recommend Corros for a business coffee-time, a Mum's get-together after taking their children to school, Mums and toddlers, a couple (like us) or a single man/woman - there are newspapers around to catch up on the daily news.

Corro has all the benefits of the Starbucks and costas of this world but retains the friendly, personal experience only an independent cafe could offer. It has a modern decor with comfy leather seats and the quality of food and coffee to match, it even has jazzy ambient music and free wi-fi. Yet the owners are charming, know the regulars by name and will happily make something for you that's not on the menu. The area has a lot of potential to move from the weird bunch of utility and speciality shops from the 1950s that are here now to a trendy family place quite meads-esque and this shop is just the sort of boost it needs. Thoroughly recommended!

Having lived in Old Town for most of my life I noticed the new addition to Albert Parade shops, Caffe Corro! So three friends and I decided to give it a whirl and were pleasantly surprised. The decor is smart and modern, and the whole ambiance gives you the feeling of an upmarket coffee house.

Great service, server really attentive, polite and welcoming. They were so busy, the place was packed, but food came out quickly. Presented well and was tasty. Full marks!

Very nice lunch, reasonable and interesting menu. Great cardamon and rose coffee, loved it. They seem to have got the mix of food spot on.

This Cafe maybe small but it has a massif big heart of solid Gold. The owner and the regulars made my wife and I most welcome. The coffee was amazing as was our very warm tea cakes. We used this cafe all the time we were in Eastbourne and it didn't disappoint us once either for breakfast or lunch, Had a few lunches as well and according to my wife the best cheese toasty ever. Thank you for making our stay in Eastbourne that so much richer
