Llamado para almuerzo y merienda. Hermosos sándwiches y pasteles caseros. Es una pena que no se abren los lunes y martes's. Puede tener una pequeña esperar, pero merece la pena. También tienen algunos libros muy interesantes que se pueden comprar. Encantador ambiente. Gracias

Estuvimos aquí para San Valentín para ver a Rita Bix, la drag queen, lucirse con sus cosas, ¡fue una noche tan fabulosa y divertida! ¡Claveles rojos a la llegada! Toque encantador! No hay lugar como este en ningún otro lugar de Eastbourne, realmente es único en lo que se refiere a lo que hace, porque no solo es un café / deli durante el día, sino que alberga clubes de lectura, entre muchas otras cosas. También vende todo tipo de golosinas para tu amigo canino, desde comida cruda para perros hasta accesorios y juguetes, ¡es simplemente fantástico! Kiran, el propietario, da una cálida bienvenida a todos los que cruzan la puerta que tengo que decir que, ¡Mugshots realmente merece un gran reconocimiento!

Having eaten at Skylark a few times previously (and it always being great!) I emailed them about having our wedding reception there. Well I’m so glad I did. Erina and her team were amazing. The food was exceptional (literally every single guest told me on the day or messaged me after, saying how great the food and staff were.) I had a vegan guest who said the whole meal was delicious and my 6 year old niece loved her specially made fancy chicken nuggets. Erina even boxed up some leftovers for us to take home for the dog!!! The whole afternoon was perfect and we now have a great place to go for date nights as Skylark will always be special to us. (Annoyingly I don’t really have any photos of the food from our wedding day, I’m hoping when our official ones come there might be a couple that I can add!!)

I decided to visit this coffee house whilst on a shopping trip today. Unfortunately the initial pleasant ambiance was ruined by a lady worker, shouting very aggressively at a young member of staff who looked very upset and shocked. She chose to reprimand him publicly without showing any concern for how that affected him, her other stuff and the experience of customers on the premises. Her unprofessional attitude and conduct was shocking to witness. I frequent many coffee houses and cafes across the town but absolutely nothing could encourage me to return here and I will advise friends and family of my poor experience of this place too.

Wonderfully tasty food in a cafe that is beautifully arranged and welcoming. Great coffee, service with a smile and dog friendly. Look forward to many future visits.

Great food and really friendly staff. The almond croissant is a favourite and the chocolate milkshake is indulgent. They do some great vegan options for breakfast/lunch as well as a decent streaky bacon sandwich.

The restaurant is clean light and airy with the sort of table layout you expect when dining out. Food is of a very high standard and beautifly presented. I t was a joy to be attended by professinal staff with an attentive and well informed Maitre. The best servioce I've had recently and I would love to return.

My daughter always loves coming here for pottery painting. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. A great spot for some creative fun!

So asked for a decaffe coffee(skinny)no skimmed milk,which is common these days in lots of businesses . I asked for a biscuit too sort of pastry/biscuit from a jar.Not big at all and certainly not as nice as cake.I was charged £7 .for these too items.Biscuit thing was stale and no walnuts to be seen as stated.£4 for a latte?See you later Urban Ground.

Absolutely lovely afternoon tea catching up with some friends, service was excellent, everyone was very helpful. The tea was delicious, super freshly made sandwiches and fresh baked scones, with a choice of two drinks and some chocs. One of my favourite places to come for tea. Thank you Simon and your lovely staff.

The best café we have discovered in 3 years of living in Eastbourne! My wife had the 3 egg cheese and mushroom omelette with salad and I had the vegetarian breakfast (sausage, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes with brown toast and butter). Absolutely delicious and very, very good value for money. It was so good I have told a friend to come for lunch next Thursday! The young staff were attentive, kind and really showed they cared for the customers. Could not fault this place and by 12.30 pm, the place was packed so make a reservation!

These guys are artists. From presentation, to texture and most importantly taste... They know the cake making secrets lost to so many now. This is a whole different level to anything else you get in the vast majority of coffee shops, cafes, etc these days. Real cakes made by really friendly folk who know their craft. 11/10 and a firm favourite. If you get to try their black forest cake with white grenache you will remember it forever... But every cake they make is perfectly crafted! Fruit cake, chocolate cake, and so on... all top quality! Really good coffee too!!! Do it!
