We were here for Valentine's to see Rita Bix the drag queen strut her stuff, it was such a fabulous fun night out! Red carnations on arrival! Lovely touch! No place like it anywhere else in Eastbourne, it really is a one off when it comes to what it does, because it is not only a cafe/deli by day but, hosts book clubs amongst many other things. It also sells all manner of goodies for your canine chum, from raw dog food to accessories and toys, it is simply fantastic! Kiran the owner gives such a very warm welcome to all who walk through the door that I have to say that, Mugshots truly does deserve a very big shout!

My DH and I thought that we would give Mugshots cafe a try as it sounded different and pleasant. Well the food and the ambience were quite special. We had Honey & Soya sauce Chicken, Quinua & Barley with courgettes and we shared a stuffed red pepper. YUM!! We took home 2 pieces of homemade cake, both of which were delicious. One was a vegan chocolate and strawberry cake the other a Victoria sponge. The cafe was very welcoming, the owner Kiren lovely and chatty and Dorota (of Dorota's Delicious Food), the chef for the day, happy and bubbly. The smells of continental and Mediterranean food were absolutely delightful and brought back memories of wonderful journies abroad. A nice experience and one to be repeated.

Highly recommended, the food is amazing and cooked to order. I had the chicken biryani with mango chutney - yummy! The place is also dog friendly which is a massive bonus for us.

Doc is our favourite local cafe. Slap bang in the middle of town, yet quietly tucked away from the busy station road and onto a quieter street. Over the years we have grown fond of the owners who are
