Excellent cafe to enjoy with friends and have a great breakfast. We took some buns, and cake to go and that was amazing.

So this review is for my recent mail order of coffee beans - Celestial and Tiger Stripes blend. I have ordered ground in the past but we’ve now moved to grinding our own beans. Tried both these now and they are absolutely lovely. The tiger stripes in particular is gorgeous! They put commercial supermarket blends to shame and it’s a much better experience than a high st chain. The delivery was swift as well. Thank you.

Mother's day lunch with my family. My mum didn't want to go anywhere else. She absolutely loves as do we their roast dinners. Hot, fresh great choice and Yorkshires that are amazing. Lovely, professional staff. Best place in town

Jarvis Brew is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic and there are always a wide selection of pastries, cakes (inc. gluten free for a pal of mine) and even bacon rolls, freshly made, for my always eating sons! I am going to make this a regular stop for my morning routine.

Your service was unacceptable today. We were treated very rudely, like outsiders and ignored on quite a few occasions. Not only that but discrimination towards a friend of mine who had an accent, that even the waitress walked away from us mid sentence on ordering! It's unprofessional not to be able to accommodate a simple request like splitting the bill. Then saying "I'm too busy, pay and go". When asking the manager politely to follow instructions he refused and said the same thing and rushed off. He kept giving us dirty looks as well. They pretended to not speak English to us and when there were other locals they recognised they spoke to them nicely, but treated us differently. This place shouldn't be open if they can't communicate with people properly We will not be returning due to the poor service and discrimination we received. They were extremely lucky to get £15 out of us... We had the right to not pay after that experience.

What a good find! Cafe with a difference! No prices, pay what you think it's worth. Great staff, friendly, courteous, efficient and...... good food.

Found this lovely cafe by chance on a journey between Tenterden and Hastings. Excellent value and great quality food. I particularly liked the extensive food options and the idea that you can build your own breakfast as lots of places no longer allow you to do this. They also cater for vegans and customers with allergies and intolerances. Very friendly and great service. Will definitely be back 👍

Working at a nursery the team decided to order from a local cafe/restaurant we chose Thyme for tea and we couldn't of chosen a better place. Speaking to Errol on the phone he helped me with the process so simply and was super friendly and very good at keeping us updated etc. Then we got the sandwiches, paying and wraps and they were so fresh, so full in flavour and so filled with filling. I had a tuna panini and it was absolutely amazing, so filling and so fresh. Thank you so much for helping me sort all of this put and for the excellent food and service. Lovely place! The cakes are delicious and beautifully served. The staff are really friendly and the prices aren't what you'd expect from this quality. Definitely worth a visit

We are a family of four and absolutely love coming to Mandalina for crepes and waffles! Ayda the owner is lovely and the service is always excellent, so much so, that when I ordered the wrong drinks for our children, Ayda remade them without hesitation. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Booked Afternoon Tea as a treat for my sister. Had to order sandwich fillings in advance from a really good selection. Perfect Afternoon Tea, had so much food had to have a doggy bag. Service was great, really friendly and checking if anything needed. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Place was really busy for an afternoon during the week as well.

As I vegan, I never expect to be able to eat anything special when I’m not in my home town of go to comforts.. but I was so blown away by their vegan rainbow sandwich! (Can’t remember it official name!) It was so beautifully presented and in abundance, it was such a treat! One of the best bites I’ve had in ages. Thank you! Left so happy !

Went to get vegetarian breakfast and was very happy with the food. The Staff are very friendly and the service was great quality. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend.
