Love this place! Only thing letting it down is its closed on Sunday. All I need on a hangover is their fresh juice 😭

Phenomenal food, the chilli chicken wrap is so incredible that I've come back twice this week because it's just that good!! Prices are very reasonable, and the owner is lovely. Would recommend!!

Unassuming independent cafe with delicious food and drinks. Just walked into Cafe Menta to have a double macchiato and open salmon and cream cheese sandwich with salad. The bread was still warm - definitely recently baked and i was very pleasantly surprised how tasty everything was. The service is brilliant as well. Great find and definitely highly recommend it.

I’ve passed this cafe a few times without needing to stop but always noticed how busy it is. Happened to be in Esher for an appointment and hadn’t had lunch so figured it was a good spot to try and I am so glad I did. The food was delicious, staff friendly and attentive. I now know why it always looks so busy! An absolute gem!

Arrived in Esher around 2pm on Saturday after long drive and desperately needed some lunch before an appointment. We walked the high st. And chose a little cafe for a quick snack..Cafe Menta, honestly we were a bit apprehensive but WHAT FANTASTIC FOOD WAS PRESENTED. I had a Panini with bacon,avocado and masserela. I asked to swap the cheese for tomato..no problem,! My wife had a BLT, WOULD YOU PREFER IT TOASTED.. YES PLEASE.. And 2 pots of tea. The food was well presented with green salad and they were really fabulous with lots of bacon. Also the guy was really friendly . Highly recommend this little independent cafe. Thankyou.

One of the best club sandwiches ever. Great lunch.

My Mum and I like this place because it has the best choice of gluten free cakes around and they are perfectly baked. Mum had the orange and chocolate cake and I had the pear and cardamom cake. Mum said that she didn't like the thought of pear in a cake but changed her mind when she tried a piece :-) Also, it has an interesting view looking down over the main street and road junction with plenty going on. The owner is very patient and kind. The coffee is excellent of course. My Mum and I have done most of the coffee places in Esher high street now and this is our favourite.

Had a bacon, avocado and cheese panini and I'm happy to say it's probably the best panini I've ever had. Good amount of all fillings, good quality bacon which was cook well. The panini was fresh and heated. Faultless. Service excellent and friendly.

My view is that this little independent face is tops for drinks, breakfast and light lunch. Unfortunately not open on Sundays.

Fantastic Moussaka and amazing homemade gourmet burger and triple cooked fries on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings. Also love the personal service, like a traditional family-run place should be. Great place for lunch as well. Also do wonderful Mocha coffees made with real chocolate!

We had some wonderful homemade burgers for dinner last Friday. Absolutely delicious, served with homemade fries, coleslaw and even the burger bap is homemade. I had the chicken burger which was huge and so tasty! We also tried a cheeseburger and bacon & cheeseburger all of which were given 10/10. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommend.

Lovely little cafe that has amazing juices, smoothies, and smoothie bowels. Really good selection for breakfast from your full fry to pancakes, I’m veggie and the owner made me an amazing veggie breakfast. Really good service always friendly and willing to accommodate.

Door sign and map suggests cafe is part of Amex 'Shop Small' scheme but Menta does not accept American Express as of November 2019. Disappointing.

So have driven past this cafe every day for ages and was heading to giro but thought let’s try it . The cafe smelt of paint and was so old looking with terrible dirty old mismatch furniture . The manager needs hospitality lessons and a general manners classand to clean up this place . Also £2.50 for one slice of toast and jam . Will not be back !!!! The cutlery pots are under gross sink next to the bin .

We came here this morning (Sunday morning 4th Aug) to grab some breakfast with our 7 month old in tow and had a great experience. Such a fantastic cafe. We both had a smoothie bowl, the ‘Bali bowl’ and the ‘Smoothie combo’ and they were absolutely delicious! So fresh and tasty! Definitely coming back to try the other smoothie bowls! The menu caters for all tastes so there is something for everyone. I was very tempted by the pancakes... Service was brilliant, super friendly. Thank you for a great start to our day!

Had lunch here with a friend who had the goats cheese omelette which looked stunning. I had the Tuna melt Panini which was excellent. Coffee good and staff friendly. Will definitely revisit as Breakfasts looks good. Plenty here for all sorts...meat lovers. vegetarians vegans etc...

Open from early morning till 3pm, this easy going little place is a gem in Esher. All the food is made on the premises and special requests can be accommodated. Alex and the girls are pleasant, the atmosphere is simple and cosy. Great pace for brunch. I like it a lot.

I’ve driven regularly past Menta for many years and the signage has always implied something a little tired or dated... how wrong was I??? This cafe was ultra friendly and speedy in service and the food was really fresh, tasty and good quality ingredients. I had a smashed avocado on sour dough with poached egg and my brother in law had a spicy scrambled eggs on sour dough and both were very good looking and delicious plates of food. The eggs were to perfection! Definitely worth a try!

Freshly prepared, delicious food. My husband and I went for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with some of the breakfast menu. You can get your usual English breakfast if that is what you fancy but there is also french toast and fluffy pancakes too. You could also go for the healthy option with their freshly prepared smoothie bowls. I had scrambled eggs with spinach, avocado, and jalapenos. Delightful punch from the chilis. Also, a pet hate is when you get toast in a cafe and the butter comes solid as a rock and impossible to spread. You won't have that problem at Menta. A great selection of smoothies and cakes too. Will definitely be back

Came here by myself for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! Wrap and a cappuccino. I will definitely be back for more either solo or with friends and family. So good!

After the refit we returned for lunch. Not disappointed. There a couple new items added to the menu. The food and drinks were excellent. Well worth it.

A great independently run restaurant. Been here several times for breakfast after a recommendation from a friend and will be going again. Am always made to feel very welcome especially when I had only been the once the man remembered I’d come before with my Dad. Very casual feel suitable for all whether you want food or just a drink. A good choice of food and am yet to try the fresh cakes. I’ve had the full English breakfast and also the sausage and egg butty. Have enjoyed every meal. Love the freshly squeezed orange juice too.

This is a wonderful independent cafe in the middle of Esher. It concentrates on breakfasts, light lunches and cakes and coffee. It's clientele ranges from families having lunch, yummy mummies sipping lattes, businessmen on a break and golfers fuelling up before a round of golf. The halloumi and pesto wrap is delicious and anything on the breakfast menu is of highest quality. Perfect place to sit with a book for a quiet break during the day. Go on- support your local cafes, they need our business.

Cafe Menta is the best! Service was impeccable and the food outstanding! Thier home made pesto is to die for. They also gave us a delicious vegan cake for my mum's birthday. Amazing start to the day!

Hidden gem in Esher which I've only recently discovered on the recommendation of two friends.

A really excellent independent. Offering great breakfasts, fresh juices and hot drinks. The food is not your usual cafe food, it is well cooked and present with a smile. The service is excellent

not my ususal neck of the woods Esher,was working at the delightfull Sandown Park corse for the first time, after a two hour commute was ready for some breakfast. Had the sausage n bacon chiabatta good ingredients ,well cooked. don't know what the lettuce decoration was about but ,I was in Esher...

Discovered this gem when our original breakfast destination was having kitchen issues. So glad we had breakfast here. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and served with delicious sour dough toast. My husband enjoyed a traditional bacon sandwich. Coffee was very good. Will defiantly be back to sample more of the breakfast menu and the fresh juices. Its great to see an independent on a High Street peppered with the usual chains. It looks like a good spot for lunch too. Parking nearby in 2 public carparks and Waitrose. Some outside tables and, unlike some of other chains, set back slightly of the main road so away from the traffic.

Had lunch at Menta on the recommendation of a friend. Interesting menu. Delicious panini. Very friendly staff. Have arranged to return there soon with a group of friends. A refreshing and welcome change from the "chains" of which there are many in Esher High Street.

I work down the road and can't help going to this cafe almost everyday, the food is always good and the service friendly too!

We popped in for brunch- hubbie had pannini and I had spicey scrambled eggs- both excellent. Great to have almost usual menu but cooked well. Eggs had spinch, veg, peppers and--i think tiny pieces of avocado- nice flavours. As per other reviews, great to see owners care about what they do and everything cooked fresh to order.

Menta is a truly amazing place, the service is amazing and so is the food. We have been going every week for 6 odd weeks now and it gets better every time.

The people there are very nice just like there food it does the best milkshakes in Esher and i go there as often as i can.The have a wide variety of meals for vegetarians and other needs.

At the time, I found this cafe, I've ridden/pedaled around 70 miles, it has started a nasty wind that feels bringing rain and still had to do 40 more miles to reach my home in North London so needing urgently a place where shed myself from the wind for a while and feed my exhausted muscles. However, it kept me around 10 miles looking for a decent, healthy place, though all was about the same, kebabs, fish&chip;, burger in few words, pure rubbish, so I started to feel a bit desperate when this cafe turned out right in my sight line. As soon as i saw it, I thought it was ticking all the boxes, nice and warm decoration -all in mint green lol- bright, cozy, neither too big nor too small. The waiter that later on turned out was the owner too was very friendly and helped me very well to find the best vegetarian options for me. He also had no problems to put my Garmin on charge using his own charger.

Menta is a low key, first class cafe with delicious food at a reasonable price. The cafe is sparklingly clean and the cooked food hot and fresh. A great menu on offer, particularly breakfast, and simple high quality meals are available all day. Anyone deciding on just a coffee would do well to consider having one of the big, warm, soft biscuits as an acccompaniment - yummy. Sometimes it is posssible to park outside in the slip road or in one of the slip roads alongside Esher High Street, otherwise there is a big public car park by the council offices. Of course, for cyclists there is no problem. There are a few outside tables and about 10 tables inside.

Very much a regular here now. You have to try the coffee, it's by far the best in town! Also the club sandwich is the best I've ever had. Scrambled eggs are incredible too! I can't compliment this place enough, you have to try it!

Me and my husband often go for breakfast here. I always have the spinach, feta and mushroom omelette with sour dough bread ! The best omelette I've been served in a cafe by far ! The fresh juices are very nice too ! Highly recommend this cafe.

I visited Menta and ordered a club sandwich. My mother ordered the halloumi wrap. Both were mouthwateringly good. They both came with baby greens drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The baby greens were very good quality. In many restaurants where you would have to pay more money, some would be whittled and horrible. Here in Menta, every leaf had a distinct flavour to it.
