Music bit loud as speaker right over table and was very eclectic. But that’s very minor grip as we loved it and will come back. Pickled onions as bar snack! Inspired !

Butter is a relaxed bar for people who want a nice drink and just to decompress. You need to know what you want but if you do you are good! I'd recommend an old fashioned.

Visité este lugar durante mi descanso de 30 minutos para comer. Mi novio había pedido nuestra comida 20 minutos antes para asegurarse de que no nos apresuraran. Cuando llegué, me senté allí durante 25 minutos sin comida. Finalmente, tuve que irme, así que mi novio le preguntó al empleado de la mesa qué estaba pasando. ¡Admitió que ni siquiera había hecho mi pedido! Ella sólo procesó su pedido de comida. Si bien puedo entender cierta confusión ya que una persona estaba pidiendo dos, no puedo entender por qué me dejó sentarme allí durante 25 minutos mirando a mi alrededor sin venir a tomar mi orden? El lugar no estaba ocupado - ella estaba detrás de la caja sin hacer nada todo el tiempo. Lo que es peor, ni siquiera se disculpó por el error. Cuando salí después de desperdiciar toda mi pausa para comer y no tener nada que comer, ella simplemente bajó la cabeza y me ignoró. Absolutamente decepcionante.

We love our Costa Coffee and have visited here a few times when we come to Liverpool for a match. The outside is great, very funky and arty. It is big with two floors. The staff are lovely and coffee great as usual!

Amazing little find for Mothers Day. Beautiful setting & ambiance. Staff were lovely & food was fresh, delicious & plentiful. Will definitely be returning & would highly recommend!

Lovely pub, good atmosphere and staff

My wife and I had a very poor experience at our last visit to The Wheelbarrow. We had a wait to be seated by a waitress as they were busy chatting. We ordered drinks and light plate meals. The coffees were brought to us, but after 30 minutes we were left waiting for our meals. On questioning we were told there was only one chef and that our meals were being plated. After 10 minutes another table was delivered of their meals. After 10 more minutes with no meals brought to us we started to leave. I explained why we were leaving. A waitress asked others if we had had drinks and was told yes. Upon walking out same waitress asked if we were paying for our drinks. I told her we were not as the service had been so bad. Same waitress shouted OK then don’t bother coming back’.

Your toilets are a disgrace..we were sitting by the loos as nowhere else to sit and the smell was appalling ladies was the worst when I went in one toilet was blocked it was dreadful. Also gents just as bad. Surely you can invest in new toilets with the amount of business you do ! Really putting us off going again.

Excellent from the booking process, right the way through to finishing our meal. Easy to book, and to order food from the website on mobile phone. Great carvery, and excellent value for money, and lovely friendly staff.
