Brilliant quiz night experience🤩 Nice relaxed evening with my family while we did the quiz Liv B and Luke were friendly and smiley the food we had was beautiful from Louis and Liam in the kitchen And the cosy atmosphere was welcome on the cold night I'll definitely be back 🙂

I had the most delightful dining experience at The Vikings Landing in Liverpool! The Carvery was absolutely fantastic, with a wide array of mouthwatering options. The roast meats were tender and flavorful, and the variety of vegetables and potatoes were exceptional. The ambiance was charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I can't recommend this place enough for a satisfying and delicious meal. It's a must-visit in Liverpool!

Ok place staff great until bingo man came to noisey couldn't talk or hear each other disappointed with this could of kept music low until he was ready to play :(

We visited just to have a warm drink while my friends car was in the garage.To start with we were greeted upon arrival by a really friendly young lady who directed us to a cosy table by the fireplace, the pub felt warm and welcoming as we sat down. The young lady quickly got us a breakfast menu all the time chatting and making us feel so welcome. We had our food and warm drinks brought to us without to much of a wait and it was delicious. We ended up sitting there for 2 hrs being waited on by the ever attentive young lady who we found out was called Olivia s she has an s as there are 2 Olivias. We will definitely be back. Thank you Olivia for making our visit so nice.

We'd booked a table for 11 to celebrate Mothers Day. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The carvery was also very good. All in all I'd highly recommend the Vikings Landing. *** just a small note to prospective customers with dogs. It says it's dog friendly, however this isn't quite true. You are restricted to outside and a small section. Where we were booked in to eat, no dogs were allowed. So just check if it's OK to bring a dog and have it sat with you*** Otherwise you can't ask too much more for a pub with good food, great staff and a nice family atmosphere. Many thanks.

There was a misunderstanding with my steak. I selected medium well done but the kitchen sent out a medium rare. Was explaining the mistake to one of the wait staff when Phil stepped in to get it all straightened out and a replacement meal was brought back a few minutes later. Phil also offered to send my niece’s meal back as well so that we’d both be eating at the same time but we kindly declined as that seemed wasteful and it was starting to get busy. All staff were great and very apologetic for the mistake. But it’s just human error and mistakes can happen in a busy kitchen the 2nd attempt was spot on with a pink blush but not bloody when I checked so was happy to finish the meal and make our exit with a full belly and an intention to return.

Love the carvery. Only complaint Yorkshire puds too big. Other than that everything great.

Took my family for dinner got a full large carvery, the slice of each meat was very very very thin, I even said don't be afraid to cut the meat give me a real slice I seen more meat on a chickens lip then what was on my plate, they then started to gather the crumbs to add it onto the plate to make it look like more meat, very confusing right, desserts was lovely but very pricey, £6 for dessert good price but if you want to add a teaspoon of icecream and teaspoon of custard £13 each,

Popped in for a Friday meal. We had a great welcome from front desk, impeccable bar staff and a boss chef on the carvery. Big shout out to everyone working there. And the food was amazing as always. Honey glazed ham, turkey and beef. We'll be back

Love coming here great place for families, Came for my sisters 18th birthday meal as we always come here for family gatherings. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and the place is always clean and well presented. The food was exceptional as always and we all had a lovely time.

First time visiting this place for food and it didn't disappoint. I had a burger and it was cooked to perfection. The other people in my party loved their food too. Will definitely be back, staff were great, nice atmosphere and food was fantastic!

Food wasn't great. Chicken wasn't cooked. Meat was over cooked and not medium rare. Gammon was burnt to a crisp. Onion rings were overcooked and vile. Halloumi fries were like rubber. Very disappointing overall.

Warm friendly greeting to a very clean warm and well lit pub. Food was ordered and only waited a few minutes for it to arrive. Staff were very approachable and friendly. The food was well cooked and tasty. It was also reasonably priced. We will visit again.

Lovely pub, friendly staff. We had a carvery it was lovely, food hot and a good choice of vegetables. Nice playing area and garden for children. The only downside to our experience was the playing if Christmas songs the 26th October🙈 I feel for the staff if they have to listen to that until Christmas 🎄. Otherwise lovely pub would visit again if in Liverpool.

Phil and team are fab. Always there for any problem if any. in our case there was none, we did not wait long for food. we are regular visitors here and service is brill.

Our original plans were ruined by the rain so myself and my mum went to the Vikings Landing. I was so grateful that we got a table as it was very last minute. Staff were friendly and the service was great, my mum had a carvery which she enjoyed and I opted for a salad which was really tasty. Vikings Landing is my family's favourite Marsdens and it's our go to place for meeting up with the rest of the family.

Great food. Lovely staff and very prompt service. Stopped in for dinner on the way to town for a show. Very prompt delivery if you order at your table.

Staff are so friendly, can not do enough. Served by Karen who was great. Food is delicious, we had mixed grill, southern fried chicken burgers and chicken and bacon salad all was fantastic. Venue clean and welcoming.

Myself and my hubby are regularly eating here the staff are polite and very helpful, the chef Matthew is immaculate, always happy to serve beautiful meats on the carvery and does so with great mannerisms, smiles and great enthusiasm, always pleased with the service and more so with the food. Disable parking near front. Disabled toilets not clearly marked but its combined with baby changing room. Dog friendly- (call ahead to check in case there are parties on). Nice selection of food and they let you know what's out of stock when you get seated to prevent early disappointment. Jumbo cake slices are-in fact-JUMBO. Clean toilets. Friendly staff but seem understaffed each time I've gone. 1 or 2 extra hands would make the service that much smoother n less of a wait for everyone. Great prices and the food is NEVER disappointing. If you don't want screaming kids, go after 7pm. Outside seating and cover against the weather. Quiz nights. Free parking- just put your registration it at the front desk. It's great.

When we arrived we waited at the door to be seated it took a while for someone to take us to a table. The bar staff seen us, a little “someone will be with you soon” would have been nice. The lady who greeted us was lovely she took us to our table and explained how it’s best to order from the QR code which we did and another lovely lady came over to give us our cutlery and check our order was right. Our drinks were brought to the table then our food arrived which was lovely too. All in all great service just need to make sure people are greeted even just to acknowledge you. Also we tried to order a desert after we had ordered our food and paid but I could only get the feedback form up? Don’t know if it’s just a technical issue we ended up going to the bar to order desert

Working in the area so thought I'd try the carvery and wasn't disappointed food was great, our server Taylor was excellent always smiling and helpful and knew the bar prices and offers when asked, would absolutely recommend and come again.

Carvery was absolutely delicious. The beef was tender and juicy, not dried out like you sometimes get at Carverys. Veg was delicious! Roasties a dream... shout out to Josh the chef and Liv our lovely friendly server... we will be back!

I had Carvery and Dad had fish and chips. The food is of good quality and was served to us nice and hot. Every member of staff are polite, smiling and friendly. It’s clean and a nice chilled atmosphere with music- but low enough so you can still have a conversation. We will come again.

I recently visited Vikings Landing and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to eat and chill. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. In particularly a staff called Jasmine recommended the Wings to us and it was delicious. She ensured we were satisfied with their service and the food was ready smoothly. The drinks selection is fantastic and had a great variety. Overall, I had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend checking it out!

Came in here for my tea with the family the service was impeccable Tony the Barman made nice suggestions about our food when we sat down we was tended to by two lovely ladies one was I belive called liv and the other Charlotte they was also very nice then when our meal was brought out it was brought by a very cheerful young man called Alex he didn’t just give us our food and leave he made us feel like we was at home definitely will be coming again

Staff attentive and quick to serve , table swimming in cleaner, food ok steak burnt on outside but still walking in the field in the middle and no seasoning when cooked, drinks overpriced

Vistsied here for my lunch and was sat in quick time by the manager Zoe. Zoe sat me in a section where I was tended to by a lovely waiter called Alex, he was smiley and provided a very good connection with the table, he is a true asset to the pub. The barman Luke aswell was so generous and kind and you could tell he had a genuine respect for the people he served all in all will definitely visit again thank you Alex Luke and Zoe all very good.

The place is nice and clean, the staff were nice but that's when you seen them as most of them stood in the kitchen chatting apart from the man who was a manger I think. As for the food I would not be going back, myself and husband order the chicken korma and it was like water no flavour. We went for a family members birthday. One of us got a baget again no flavour was ment to be spicy but there was nothing and there was not enough chicken to fill it. We orded a child's quorn chicken burger and chips. The quorn chicken was 2 very small bits that were very well cooked. We did order a few other bits that were ok. I do have to say the chips were really nice. We did not order any puddings. I did not complain to the staff why I was there as this was a meal we had been invited to go for for someone's birthday so I did not want to course a scene. For the price of the food was defo not worth it. Sorry to say I will not be going back or recommending this place to people.

Just wow from entering to leaving what an amazing experience greeted by a gent who checked our table was ready (we where early and accommodated right away) as soon as we sat our server was asking if we needed anything advised that the app is fast service but it's no problem ordering from them so the app we went Easy to navigate clear ingredients and pricing We ordered a fair bit of food expecting a delay along with the carvery order we had The lovely servers came over confirmed our order and e planned our receipt would access the carvery and off we went I myself ordered off a different menu as I'm not a huge carvery fan (sorry) Even so as soon as my family sat down my food was being delivered and my gods what a meal it was Loaded nachos pulled pork I had a HUGE portion but it was amazing fresh ingredients and just delicious Steak pie was so hot I had to cut it open and let it cool but that was OK as I had onion rings too and just .......urgh so good The family had carvery and the food was well made piping hot and very fresh nothing dry or inedible we devoured everything My son particularly enjoyed the mash he said it was fluffy and buttery perfection Those Yorkshire puds where ridiculously big haha Our drinks where spot on we only had draught pop but still spot on option of no ice little ice or ice we went with little and a couple cubes was just right As we where leaving I decided on a crumble and custard sadly they had run out of custard but I didn't care I was in a great mood amd so had it with vegan ice cream and it didn't disappoint had it to go and scoffed it before I got home it was perfect Over all an amazing experience we where in fed and out in less than an hour and would have happily spent alot more time in there if I had any space in my gut to keep eating Compliments to the chef the staff just 100% recommend and definitely visiting again

The staff are welcoming, friendly and the food is great. The atmosphere is calm. Its everything you could want in your local. We love coming and its our place of choice for a family meal.

We went for my daughter an granddaughter birthday meal was lovely staff was amazing but manager was so rude we were told to move by him when we had finish no people skills we spent nearly 200 pound iam a 70 year old lady in a wheelchair an when my son-in-law tryed to move one off the table he told him to stop scratching his floor I will never go there again or recommended it

We went for breakfast. We had the Ultimate Breakfast Bap. No doubt we will be returning soon The food was enough to fill our empty tummy's and pleasantly presented. The music and atmosphere was calm and place was clean, light and airy

Me and my husband have visited here today, I got the carvery the potatoes were so hard they were horrible. My husband got a burger with onion rings, he said the burger and fries were nice but the onion rings looked about a week old they were like concrete. A couple of the girls working there were rude, just sitting chatting to some people on another table, think these might of also been staff

What a great find 👏 the place was spotless the food excellent at good prices. We had a stake and ale pie with chips and peas it was really tasty. We sat inside but you can sit out if you want but the time we went there was a lot of smokers/vape so not recommended if eating. There are some pictures of menus and prices that might help if you need to price first. The toilets are easy access able if disabled and there is disabled parking outside.

Ok atmosphere. But waiter didn't tell us to order with QR code and we waited for 10 minutes just sitting there. The burgers were overdone and later in night couldn't sleep...beer IPA was good

Nice choice on menu. Carvery typically good. Nice premises and parking. It has a casual atmosphere. Easy going. They don't rush you and you just order at the bar as you go. Can get busy especially at weekends and after 5pm during the week. Fair prices. Friendly service. Manager and staff make effort to get to know regulars.

We've been to the Vikings Landing quite a few times. We like it here, plus its where we come for food before we go over to the Showcase. We were actually going to watch BeetleJuice so we came for our tea 1st. I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom pie, the crust on top was too hard to cut into so I just flicked it off. I was telling my partner and the waitress was nearby clearing he table and heard me, she apologised and insisted she got me a fresh one. But honestly I didn't want one, I wasn't complaining, I was just telling my partner, I prefer the crust around the sides anyway and the rest of it was absolutely delicious anyway. So I'm not complaining. My partner got the Kebab and chips, I tasted it it too and it was gorgeous! I'll be getting that the nest time. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the girl who came over to me after overhearing me. But my food was enough and delicious enough for me not to need to eat the pie lid 🤣 we will definitely be back anyway. So thank you.
