Lovely pub, friendly staff. We had a carvery it was lovely, food hot and a good choice of vegetables. Nice playing area and garden for children. The only downside to our experience was the playing if Christmas songs the 26th October🙈 I feel for the staff if they have to listen to that until Christmas 🎄. Otherwise lovely pub would visit again if in Liverpool.

Phil and team are fab. Always there for any problem if any. in our case there was none, we did not wait long for food. we are regular visitors here and service is brill.

Staff are so friendly, can not do enough. Served by Karen who was great. Food is delicious, we had mixed grill, southern fried chicken burgers and chicken and bacon salad all was fantastic. Venue clean and welcoming.

Great food. Lovely staff and very prompt service. Stopped in for dinner on the way to town for a show. Very prompt delivery if you order at your table.

I really enjoyed all aspects of The Viking. Great staff, all of them. Good food served hot and all meals arriving together. A really good atmosphere considering it was midweek, midday. Definitely recommend.

We went for breakfast. We had the Ultimate Breakfast Bap. No doubt we will be returning soon The food was enough to fill our empty tummy's and pleasantly presented. The music and atmosphere was calm and place was clean, light and airy

Had another lovely afternoon at the bingo event, food was amazing, staff are always very friendly, helpful and polite.

Me and my husband have visited here today, I got the carvery the potatoes were so hard they were horrible. My husband got a burger with onion rings, he said the burger and fries were nice but the onion rings looked about a week old they were like concrete. A couple of the girls working there were rude, just sitting chatting to some people on another table, think these might of also been staff

Paid a visit recently, Connor was a wonderful barman who couldn't do enough for us, will definitely be back soon

What a great find 👏 the place was spotless the food excellent at good prices. We had a stake and ale pie with chips and peas it was really tasty. We sat inside but you can sit out if you want but the time we went there was a lot of smokers/vape so not recommended if eating. There are some pictures of menus and prices that might help if you need to price first. The toilets are easy access able if disabled and there is disabled parking outside.

Ok atmosphere. But waiter didn't tell us to order with QR code and we waited for 10 minutes just sitting there. The burgers were overdone and later in night couldn't sleep...beer IPA was good

Very friendly and welcoming one of my new favourite places to go and eat. When you suffer with going out and feeling out of place this is the place to go coz they are so welcoming you don’t feel out of place thanks xx

Received burnt burger. Tasteless noodles. Substitute food was completely tasteless but then not burnt. Service a disaster.........

Nice choice on menu. Carvery typically good. Nice premises and parking. It has a casual atmosphere. Easy going. They don't rush you and you just order at the bar as you go. Can get busy especially at weekends and after 5pm during the week. Fair prices. Friendly service. Manager and staff make effort to get to know regulars.

We've been to the Vikings Landing quite a few times. We like it here, plus its where we come for food before we go over to the Showcase. We were actually going to watch BeetleJuice so we came for our tea 1st. I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom pie, the crust on top was too hard to cut into so I just flicked it off. I was telling my partner and the waitress was nearby clearing he table and heard me, she apologised and insisted she got me a fresh one. But honestly I didn't want one, I wasn't complaining, I was just telling my partner, I prefer the crust around the sides anyway and the rest of it was absolutely delicious anyway. So I'm not complaining. My partner got the Kebab and chips, I tasted it it too and it was gorgeous! I'll be getting that the nest time. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the girl who came over to me after overhearing me. But my food was enough and delicious enough for me not to need to eat the pie lid 🤣 we will definitely be back anyway. So thank you.

Excellent service, couldn't do enough for me and my party. Your team are a credit to you and your business. I had booked originally for7 but changed it online to 9. The booking hadn't changed, but the manageress did everything she could to get us a larger table, especially as the restaurant was very busy. Thank you.

Came with my Mum for our evening meal. Mum had Fish and Chips and I had hunters chicken. Mum really enjoyed hers and so did I. We also had a lovely service from Nell.

Had a lovely meal with my partner and kids. Kids enjoyed themselves on the play area. We had a really lovely time. Our server Brooke was so lovely! Nothing was too much trouble for her! We will definitely be back!

Stopped here after a lengthy appointment at the hospital. Needed to eat and drink before facing the long drive home. Easy to get to by car. Lots of parking. Shown quick to a table even though they were very busy. Waitress was lovely and very attentive. Carried the drinks for us. Food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Not over priced.

Staff were brilliant at accommodating my party of 16, let us place balloons on table and also my children's birthday cake.

Food standard not so good ordering off main menu and presentation for what you pay, you'd expect more when I can cook better at home. I can't fault the staff very polite and friendly.

A little expensive for the quality of food. I got 2 sides, 3 chicken burger meals and 2 desserts with pint colas and spent almost 90 quid. That's crazy.

Gammon was a touch salty for me but otherwise everything was good

This wasn't my usual style of pub (real ale drinker) however it still gets 5 stars as the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming and the beer was pleasant and cheap. We will return there We didn't eat but my son enjoyed his roast on a previous visit

Used to be really good. Not sure what has happened the past few times I've been here. The nachos are a joke, not even real cheese just sauce at room temperature.

We really enjoyed our carvery here this evening. The staff were all very kind and courteous. Our server Ellie was very kind with my nephew.

We came in last minute and were greeted by Tony, super friendly and smiley. Was happy to swap us tables when the table we sat at wasn't right for us. Service was all friendly super quick. Bella and Tony were all smiles. Food was lush. 10/10 if I could. Will be back. Love the ease and convenience of being able to order off my phone too.

We went back again and were not disappointed the food was excellent and the staff were so pleasant especially carly she made us so welcome and my compliments to the chef jen for a perfect meal I've never had a stake so good and cooked to perfection

We were asked to sit outside as it was very busy and we hadn’t booked. No problem. However, I do feel the tables need to be better maintained so they can be cleaned properly. Food was really nice and my father’s steak was cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed our meals and I will be back.

Avoid the carvery, very poor. Other food average, standard pub grub really, as with most chain pubs, don't expect anything special. Service decent and fast. They try to push the ordering through QR code but we ordered at the bar just fine. Overall wouldn't visit again.

We came out for a Birthday meal. It is our first time here but our family have been here before and have told us how amazing it is here. We have to agree. Food and service were top notch. Karen was very friendly and helpful and added to the experience. We will come again (all the way from Bolton!) thank you.

Visited the vikings landing on sunday and had a lovely carvery big thanks to matt the chef and had a great desert, a rocky road made by Brie. Other than having to wait at the door for a while to be seated (recommend booking next time) would definitely visit again!!

Lovely place to go and meet up with friends for different occasions. I recently went with my sister for a bite to eat and had a bottle of white wine with a dash of lemonade to drink. Previous to this I have visited with both my Mum and Sister on other nights during last year.

We had a carvery due to promising reviews..worst we've ever had, gristle in most mouthfuls when eating the turkey which was a poor quality crown.The stuffing was so gooey you couldn't get it off the utensils and frozen roasties and the rest was just as bad...Place looks like a cheap American diner..finally most staff in other eateries ask you if everything is all right with your meal..we had no contact...never again..be warned..First time I have written a review ...expect reply to be should have contacted manager as same reply to other complaints...IMPROVE YOUR FOOD QUALITY THEN WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO CONTACT HIM

Beer is very expensive. Carvery was petty good, burger and fries wasn't great. Loads of empty tables but we had to wait 20 mins to be seated and able to order food

Great experience; seated at table immediately (we had booked), food & drink arrived quickly, staff were attentive and cleared the table when it was needed. One improvement; the table was quite sticky when we arrived.

Can only describe the carvery as re used days old food ..everything didn't taste fresh..was rock hard...especially the stuffing cut into block like bricks

Loverly Place,only popped in for a few quoffs,but by god the carvery looked well tasty, I'll deffo pop in again,the girls behind the the bar, great sense of humour,they got my one liners, Lol 🤣,deffo have to go again, 😉👍.

Been with friends this evening for Dinner, looked after from start to finish by a lovely young lady called Olivia, very polite, friendly and able to offer advice about menu with great ease. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent service from a great team

Service was good but slow. Busy and not enough staff. But staff done a great job and very pleasant.

Friendly staff, served by Karen who catered for all our needs. Food was nice, not as good as previous visits. Mix grills little dry, especially chicken. But overall OK. Only found out they no longer take blue light too when at the counter.

Caught the manager Phil scratching his balls and sniffing his fingers 🤮. won't be back here again in a hurry. Service was great staff treated us all well. Food was just normal pub food nothing out of the ordinary just regular bland pub grub. Apart from the service was a bad experience.
