Nice few hours in here,reminded me of the old SHE club from back in the day,great mix of people.

Not surprised the reviews have gone downhill recently. Was here for Halloween and saw a group of men dressed in ridiculously culturally insensitive "costumes" (These were white guys dressed as Muslims/Arabs). I tapped one of them on the shoulder and told them they're costumes were inappropriate, and then walked away. The group then complained to the bar staff, and I was immediately kicked out of the club with no way of appealing it. If teddy's continues to support this kind of behaviour, and uses a policy that allows anyone to kick anyone else out, it won't feel like a safe and inclusive place anymore and I would not recommend anyone go. Bouncers are rude and aggressive, too.

Do not go here unless you want to be man handled by bouncers

Awful experience. We were out as a big group for a hen do. We opted for the drinks package only to he disappointed to receive 1 70cl bottle of vodka and 1 bottle of prosecco between 10 of us. We were told that the mixers were going to be coke and lemonade. When we realised the mixer was tonic water we asked them to change it for us. They refused to do this and said we would have to pay, despite it being their mistake. The staff including the manager were incredibly rude and confrontational to all of us including the bride to be. They made us pay £8 for an additional jug of lemonade and extra for cordial despite paying £160 for the package. AVOID

Went to Teddys for a comedy showcase had a brilliant night, service was great and reasonable prices.

Not an alternative bar at all plays pop music when asked to play “rock music” got told “why would we”. Teddy’s needs to realise playing blur once doesn’t account to a “alternative” music piss poor if you ask me full of posers including staff which is a shame.

wasn't allowed in because of ID, even though I was told I don’t look 17 or I’m not from Liverpool so that I’m not known to be in there even though we travel for a good night out and recommend teddys. Won’t be recommending them again.

Teddy’s is just Teddy’s. It’s probably my favourite place to spend a sweaty night drinking and dancing to the best music. It effortlessly fills the void left by the Krazyhouse.

Bit of a joke. Band come on and announced they were palyyrovk and Halloween tunes. Start off their set with Marion 5. Are you taking the piss? Neither rock or Halloween. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Filled up with Robbie Williams and Cher. Are you joking? What is this Venue any more. Sort it out teddy's. Used to be my go to rock Venue

Absolutely awful staff from the bar staff to the bouncers. Only one bouncer was fair but the rest absolutely horrible. The man behind the bar pushed my brother without an actual reason all because my brother leaned forward to hear what he was saying but the man was already being aggressive. For him to then call the bouncers and claim my brother threw a glass at him which is a false allegation and would love to see the CCTV to prove what didn’t happen. The bouncers then man handled my brother which snapped his chain off of his neck. When my brother was outside he and another bouncer got into it because the bouncer was calling him an F’ing C U Next Tuesday but even after being pushed by the bar tender, man handled by the bouncer and being put in a head lock by one when he wasn’t resisting in anyway as we were on our way out anyway then to come out to be verbally abused by another bouncer he still chose to go over an apologize only to be called all the names under the sun again and then push back by the bouncer that put him in the head lock. I have emailed multiple time regarding his chain being lost and if it had been handed in to get no respond so i have emailed again with a complaint still no response. Awful awful awful place and i do believe if you are any race other than white you will be treated differently here as thats the only reason i can think as to why the bar tender was automatically rude and then pushed my brother and then topped it off with such a wild allegation its crazy.

Incredibly rude, i was pushed by the bar staff (picture of him attached). The bouncers were bored with their lives and wanted to take it out on me, so put me in a headlock and dragged me out. The issue was that i couldn’t be served at a certain part of the bar, but that was not communicated well at all (you could have just told me to order somewhere else). I could tell the staff were frustrated/flustered but surely you should not work in a club if you cant handle the service. A very unprofessional establishment based on what I experienced last night. UPDATE: they used enough force to break my necklace off of my neck.

Been in a few times and it’s usually alright, was in last week and experienced rude bar staff who served half of us then refused to serve the other. I would understand if we were drunk but we had only been in one place previously , wasted money for a bad atmosphere wouldn’t recommend.

Good alternative bar in Liverpool, reminds me of K2. Drinks are decent and are priced the same as other places. the only problem is the service, the barman who works upstairs, bigger build with acne was too busy doing shots with his friends to serve us. Gave us attitude when we asked if we could be served.

Bouncers are nasty, ableist and downright rude. Wouldn’t let my friend back in because they said he ‘looked disabled’ and would stack it down the stairs. Also, the drinks are overpriced, and it stinks of poo around the bar area. Such a shame as it’s rare to see a rock nightclub venue but when you have bouncers like that you’re not making anybody want to return. Never again

Good atmosphere. Sat in the basement, not too loud, not too busy. Bar staff are great. The place is lovely, the booths are super cosy.

No cocktail menu, bar staff seem uninterested and apathetic. Seems overpriced for what it is. Not a great atmosphere either. Visited due to high review scores but ultimately left disappointed.

Left my whole bag, with all valuables inside, there on 19th Nov. Sent an email and got a reply on 22nd to say my bag was there and they would post it, as I lived 5hrs away, but it has been over 2 weeks and heard or had nothing back so would NOT recommend!

Had many good times in Teddys, never had an issue with security or staff, drinks aren't cheap but not ridiculous either. Whether empty or packed the music is varied and consistently good, plenty of seating downstairs especially. Vape machine is a ripoff (£9.99 I believe it was) but then you should just bring your own in .

Slightly more expensive drinks but great atmosphere, some games to play and lovely location! Got a pool tablet and lots of screens to watch fhr games too

Had a great afternoon of drinking and dancing here. The male singer was brilliant had some great moves and guest singers were equally good, definitely worth a visit

Looked for a rock or metal bar and stumbled upon this place, don’t go anywhere else this is the place

The place is clean with a good fun atmosphere. The drinks were really good and worth the price, which it was just right. The staff on the bar were very nice and polite, everyone seems to be enjoying working there. The music wasn’t deafening like in other bars which I really liked. 100% recommended.

The bouncer physically assaulted my friends last night because they were waiting for our other friend to come out the toilet!! One grown man throwing a small woman across the pavement and telling my other female friend he’ll batter her. Absolutely disgusting behaviour - avoid!!!!

Lovely bar. It's over 25s only and the doorman is pretty merciless at rejecting idiots or people who've had a few too many so the people inside are usually the right type. The drinks are nice, the staff are very friendly and the music is exceptional. All good.

This place is lively until dawn and the jusic is a mixture of cheese, indie, some dance...a really upbeat positive atmosphere, particularly late-on...this is a go too destination for a fun fun night.

It's nice but difficult to get in needlessly.

I like the downstairs quarters of a Friday evening, although come before 7pm and you be forced to partake in the entry bar area with heightened prices! Come after 7pm for the ultimate vibe to remember.

Only discovered Teddys a few weeks ago , perfect place to dance the night away to everything from Abba to AC /DC and all in between, nice atmosphere and a good mostly alternative clientele ensure a great night free of the usual idiots that spoil everything! Drinks are reasonably priced for a night club and the bar staff are great, special mention goes to the brilliant washroom attendant fella , sorry forgot his name, always a pleasure to stop and chat to him. Me and my friends have now added teddys to our regular Thursday night pub and club crawl , that's how impressed we are with the place, we all love it . Hopefully we we be visiting for a long time to come . Best wishes to all involved at Teddys .

If you're of coloured skin do not go to this place the bouncers came and aggressively grabbed me by the neck because someone supposedly reported me for grab a woman's private parts when I challenged them and told them to check their cctv the bouncer said they don't have any time i brought drinks and spent money only to be chucked out because of racial profiling. Avoid at all costs if you're black, brown or any other ethnicity that isn't from the local area. I will be pursuing this case further by going legal as that disgusting behaviour and I was himulated, assaulted and have been mentally scarred.

Usually it's such a good place to go. But the fill in door staff made it a horrible mid week venue, being assaulted on a Tuesday night was not what I had expected after previously visiting many times before.

The bar upstairs is like a throwback to the 80s but looks really cool. Drink selection was very poor but seemed to be down to deliveries but sure there's a tesco or sainsbury down the road! Didn't stay long in the basement bar but music was great and very handy having the two areas in one bar.

Brilliant service, Jackson was excellent on the bar tended to our every need and made good recommendations

I paid £23 for 3 drinks here as the barman put my singles through as doubles which were £8.50 each! the wine was undrinkable & in a dirty glass too, I left it on the table, shocking!

Very limited ways to get in contact with them, the ‘emergency’ email they provide doesn’t exist. Messaged them on two separate social media accounts to be left on read.

Really didn't enjoy coming here. Bar staff acted like they were doing me a favour serving us. Hopefully post Covid this will be a good place to visit.

Popped in for a quick gin and all the staff were so friendly. Really nice place and efficient service. Will be back!

Ace venue. Great set up with brand new decor and toilets etc. Was a bit too chilly with the aircon but better than being too hot. On a weekend I'm sure it would be just the right level if people to warm it up. Bar staff lovely. No complaints. Will deffo be back soon.

Drinks are too expensive, you need to wait ages to get in, and the customer service assistants are quite rude. I asked for a menu so I know what I can get, and the waitress gave me a menu with cocktails only, like she wanted to get rid of me. Actually, I can give Teddy's two stars because bartenders are actually handsome 👍

Opening hours stated as 7:30am to 5pm. Walked down from city centre today (13/12/17), arrived at 4pm, place was closed and in darkness. Have they shut down?

Llegamos después de una tarde bastante húmedo caminando por los muelles de Liverpool y los museos, el personal amable y acogedor. Orden tomadas y bebidas sirven en la mesa sin una queja. Era bastante tranquilo, y después de una segunda bebida nos dimos cuenta de que estaban transformando personas, pensando que estaban cerrando me preguntó a qué hora cierran y me dijeron 6 pm, estaba a sólo 5. 30:00 h. Poco decepcionante ver que. Personal parecía prisa por tratar de aclarar todo lo que se tradujo en nosotros la sensación de que teníamos que irnos! Es una pena realmente!

Seems to be busy given the competition for a coffee in the dock. Though I’m not sure I was after banging R+B following a serene walk and Tate visit, whilst being surrounded by older warriors of the coach tour world.

Having trawled around on a busy Saturday at Albert docks trying to find somewhere without an hour wait on food, I came across this absolute gem of a place. Small, lively, simple and welcoming, equally as busy, but the whole team were on it. I had a fantastic salad and my mother had a chicken panini. Very simple food well made. What struck me was even though the place was full seating wise, the turnover was quick, the atmosphere was cool and walk in takeaway trade was also booming.

After being told we could not eat outside at Gusto we went to Teddys next door. Ordered our meals and sat outside, the service was good and staff made you feel welcome.Will go again.
