Amazing cocktails - menu is spot on - but will gladly do you any classic (with a twist) if you’d like also. Service perfect. One of my favourite haunts. I’ve learnt so much too !

Absolutely amazing! As much as I’d love to keep this place a secret I absolutely have to say I highly recommend visiting. The drinks were fabulous, such a nice chill atmosphere, and amazing service. Our server was so friendly and welcoming.

I haven’t left a review for food because food isn’t served. Love the entrance and the bar is small and intimate. You can discuss cocktails with the servers, and I asked the neighbouring couple what they were drinking. I forgot to ask the servers name, but he was really attentive, helpful and absolutely delightful. It was New Years Eve and we were having cocktails before midnight, and it was a great start to the night. Not as much cocktail theatre as usual BUT delicious cocktails and a free shot with the bill! The music is upbeat, a mixture of fabulous disco/funk and always at the perfect level to be able to talk, without shouting! A fabulous evening. Highly Recommended. Adding wine to the menu would be ace: just saying 😉

We arrived quite early (5pm) so it was very quiet, it's a great bar and we enjoyed our cocktails. Be nice if there were snack/bar food options.

Brilliant experience! We visited on Saturday and felt so comfortable. The vibe was there and the drinks by Kev and the team were on point. Kev made us feel very welcomed and was very knowledgeable … we can’t wait to visit again

Kevin and the team have been excellent this evening. This cocktail spot in Liverpool is fantastic and up there with the very best in the city…possibly the best. A complete hidden gem we only saw this bar on Instagram after seeing the reviews. The Bloody Mary, the labourer, and the smoking bricky cocktails were sublime: the Bloody Mary used a rich, tomato consommé - absolutely fabulous! We’ve almost worked our way through half the menu and only left to get home for our dog. If not we’d have finished every drink on it.

Absolutely top 2 best cocktails bars in Liverpool at the moment. All cocktails perfectly balanced followed by knowledgeable servers been here twice now and it’s been unreal ignore the few negative comments you see they’re all people TikTok drinkers and Pornstar lovers, Peter served us and was a top fella place is unreal vibe is boss of you want a good bevy it’s the place to be.

Took some friends who didn’t know about it, there’s now 3 more who will be coming again. Great place

Amazing atmosphere and even better cocktails

Hidden away and proper cool, unique cocktails and a style that pays homage to the old Rapid Hardware shop that was a part of the community for decades. The menu is creative and unique, and the atmosphere is super chilled. Similar to Berry and Rye! The only problem was there was a very loud group that was singing and complaining about the blender noise (I barely noticed and they were much louder), they then demanded to drink for free. A classy place that was slightly disrupted by a classless group!!

Saw this place on TikTok and thought it would be a nice idea for my boyfriends birthday, we arrived at around 9pm on a Saturday with a reservation, and where seated under a speaker , I have nothing against loud music at all but when it’s right above your head and you cannot hear a thing the person directly opposite you is saying it was king of frustrating, something you would expect in a club but not in a “chilled cocktail bar”. we waited 30 minutes to have our order taken and another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive , I ordered ‘The smoker” I usually go for spicy margarita type drinks so that sounded right up my ally but it arrived in a regular sized glass no ice just simply 1/5 full , nothing special and for £12 you would have expected more , Boyfriends drink was okay, When they came over to ask if we wanted another one we said no (as we had been there for a hour already and where not enjoying ourselves) My boyfriend was shocked as the waiter rolled his eyes when he walked off as if to say ‘thanks for coming and ordered one drink and wasting our time’ The staff where less than attentive, The over all vibe was nice and the drinks where £10-£16 (Average cocktail price for Liverpool to be fair) But unfortunately we did not have a good time and are very disappointed, we will not be returning unfortunately, I literally made this account just to make this review as I feel like there are hundreds of other better places in Liverpool to spend your money on !

The new menu at this place is absolutely incredible. Great drink variety, atmosphere and we had easily the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever drank. The bearded gent serving us was super welcoming and made some great recommendations for our night

Exceptional cocktails and consistently wonderful service from the waitstaff have made our repeated visits to this establishment a delightful experience. I must highly recommend trying the 'A Nail for a Bloody Mary' as it has never disappointed. However, it's worth noting that on a few occasions, we observed the manager displaying unnecessary hostility towards the staff, which somewhat detracted from the otherwise fantastic atmosphere. Despite this minor concern, I would confidently rate this place a solid 10/10 and highly recommend it.

If there was a minus 0 I would give it to this place! I’ve tried here 3 times to give it a chance but every time was terrible. There was always always a problem with something And the food is really expensive not worth the price the toast isn’t buttered and bacon not done enough it’s a trendy place and appealing to the 20-30 something set not for me I wouldn’t recommend service awful price expensive and service not good

Beautiful drinks in very cool surroundings. Ideal for anyone who's looking for a fun place that doesn't try too hard. The Cowboy and the New York Sour were excellent

Booked in for 7 people for 22:45 arrived at 23:00 after it pouring down with rain and struggling to find the venue as there is no address on the website and we where told our table had been given away. Beyond dissatisfied

This is another one of the gimmicky cocktails bars that seem to be opening everywhere at the moment, this being located in an old hardware store. The bar was quite difficult to find and we had to watch a TikTok video to actually find the bar. When we entered we were the only people in the bar, this may have been because it was a mid week evening however this made it quite awkward and meant that there was a lack of atmosphere. We were served promptly and our cocktails brought to us, which were very nice however slightly on the expensive side.

We headed here for a couple of cocktails after dinner based on a recommendation - tasty, innovative cocktails and great service. The whole speakeasy type experience made for a good atmosphere although it was quiet when we were there on a Thursday night

We read a review and booked in here...booking is a must! Quite clandestine to gain entry, but that was a fab gimic! Entering via the old rapid hardware took me back! Staff are fab and welcoming and very knowledgable regarding the cocktails. We each had a good few cocktails which are delicous and very original and served well. Cant wait to return!

Lovely little place, hidden on cropper street just off the main road, well priced drinks with creative names and ingredients, complementary pretzels and a perfect setting for a date or a get together with mates. 10/10 would 100% return

Was pretty disappointed with my first visit here. My cocktail was OK - not as good as Berry & Rye, Jenny's, or Present Company. Also, they accidentally made the wrong drink for one of us, and then took another 10 minutes to bring the correct one despite the fact everyone else at the table had been given theirs. Then they gave the mistake drink to the table behind us, free of charge, instead of offering it to us even though we were the ones who had had our order messed up. I truly couldn't believe they would just give it to someone else instead of the person whose order they had gotten wrong. I won't be going back.

After seeing an interesting Tik Toc, and having taken the Monday off worm, we decided to try this new place on Sunday. We booked to make sure we got a table (3pm) but really there was no need, at that time it was really quiet, although it was busier when we left at about half four. We loved the hidden bar aspect of it, adding to the mystique. We entered a downwards descending corridor which led to a closed door. Once through there, we found ourselves greeted by Connor, the very knowledgeable and hospitable manager, and given a candle lit table. The bar area takes about 30-35 people and you won't find people crowding the bar area, as they want guests seated, which suits me down to the ground. We intended in having a cocktail, but the first one was so delicious we had another one, and then a third. Equally delicious were the peanut butter pretzels, which I ate so many of I felt a bit sick, but that's my own fault! This place is a new favourite, and I hope it succeeds. Excellent overall, will return.

Loved the speakeasy concept and secret entrance (door under the rusty wheelbarrow sshhhh). Lovely to see the history of the building recognised with nods to Rapid Hardware and tools on display throughout. Cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. Staff are professional, friendly and do their best to make sure you enjoy this gem of a venue. Would thoroughly recommend.

I'm not a big cocktail guy but the waiter choose one for me and it was really nice so if your unsure on what to pick just ask them :)

Fantastic little speakeasy situated within the old Rapid hardware building. Beautiful cocktails combined with excellent service. Look for the Rusty Wheelbarrow and I recommend you order one once you are inside.
