Before starting a 12 day holiday in Cologne and Dusseldorf to enjoy the Christmas markets of those great German city's we decided to have a day out in Liverpool City Centre visiting some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, we dropped by The Richmond Pub and what another great visit we had. I love the look of this city centre pub,a long narrow interior which is dominated by a solid wood serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around this pub,its a great pub to unwind in. We ordered a lager each, we grabbed a table were we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. Beer served in here was spot on and good value for money, iced cold and sparkling, very easy to drink, hardly surprising that this pub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Richmond Pub is easy to locate along Williamson Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

On a rainy Tuesday night with it hammering down my twin brother Stephen and I sought refuge in The Richmond Pub and what a nice time we had. This is a traditional pub ,the interior is superb ,it's long and narrow,a cool looking serving bar ,big screens to enjoy the sport ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Williamson Street. We ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,we dried off, settled back and took in the great pub we were in. My guinness was really good ,thick, creamy and iced cold and very easy to drink ,it's a drink my brother and I are particularly fond of. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Richmond Pub is easy to locate along Williamson Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Stopped outside at 11:15 on a Saturday morning with my 5 year old and disabled 6 year old so they could have a drink and eat a sandwich when immediately confronted by a staff member to say children aren’t allowed. We were just hoping to quickly eat a sandwich and have a soft drink. It wasn’t as if it was a Saturday evening full of people. There were 2 people inside and one outside with plenty of seating so I really didn’t see the need in the attitude we were given by the staff member. Avoid at all costs especially if the staff lack the decency to allow child to just sit down for 5 minutes.

Can't rave about this place enough, Matt the manager was brilliant, proper laugh in a good local pub. The prices were unbelievably cheap I was shocked. Meg the bar maid was so lovely. Recommended loads of lovely drinks. Matt and meg made this place tonight. Had a ball with my Mrs. Thank you Richmond for having 2 great staff in your bar. 100000% recommend this pub x

I’ve visited the Richmond twice in recent weeks. On both occasions there was only one real ale on offer but on both visits the beer was of the highest standard. On the first visit I enjoyed a pint of Wainwright and on the second a pint of White Rat. Both drinks were excellent which reflected the fact that the bar staff know how to prepare, keep and pour real ale. The bar man was from Cork and was very welcoming and efficient. I’m sure the pub will have a wider range of real ales as on offer as things return to normal but even so this pub is well worth a visit. Great beer, an old fashioned atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

The Richmond is a traditional city centre pub on the corner of Richmond and Williamson street in an area full of pubs and bars.A traditional local pub with a local clientele the Richmond pub has a compact interior with a traditional pub interior and superb seating options throughout the whole pubs interior.there is an excellent outside seating area which is ideal in the present climate. This is our first visit this year due to the lockdown restrictions and once we gave our details for the track and trace we took a seat outside as it was a roasting hot day. When we visited we had a few glasses of John Smith's brewery bitter this was a nice change from the cask ales and Guinness we had drunk all day and it was well priced. The Richmond is easy to find from Queen Square bus station walk into Williamson Square then you turn left into Williamson street.(This is my second review of the Richmond pub). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-23.00. Hours May Differ From Above Due To The Covid 19 Restrictions Which End On The 19th Of July. Nearest Bus Stop. Queen Square bus station.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we decided to drop into The Richmond Pub, a pub that's always well worth checking out. A lovely little pub,the interior is superb, a long narrow interior, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's to enjoy the sport, pubby decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub despite its relatively small size and a big outside seating area looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around the pub. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we ordered a beer each, served in excellent condition, we soaked up the sunshine 🌞 while sipping our beers. My beer was really good, we chose Carling beer, not my usual tipple, more a real ale and craft beer fan myself but on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew, a hoppy, light and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Richmond Pub is easy to locate along Williamson Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A wonderful pub, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

This is a proper back street pub in the heart of the shopping streets just off Whitechapel. The pub look great, a long narrow interior, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, nice decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Richmond Street. We were here on a Thursday night, rain just starting, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were we ordered a beer each, we chose Carling beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My beer was really enjoyed, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink, it's not my usual tipple, more a real ale and craft beer fan but it was tasty ,it was just so good being out and about again enjoying a quality brew and to be honest socialising again albeit socially distanced. Stayed in Liverpool over Easter weekend. This pub seemed to have lots of older regulars and you can see why! They know a good thing when they see it. Great little pub, good music, friendly and chatty customers, cheap beer and Matt and Shaun(?) behind bar are very pleasant. If I come again I'll head straight there.

Straight into the bar on arrival, it is what it is, a BOOZER, make no mistake. Round the corner from Williamson square. You’re not going to poetically charm the old bread knife. No, you’re gonna booze. Fair and simple.

Outdoor seating is perfect for the summer months to relax and watch the throngs go about there business in this great city. Will always be our afternoon/evening 1st port of call when in the city.

Not an alternative bar at all plays pop music when asked to play “rock music” got told “why would we”. Teddy’s needs to realise playing blur once doesn’t account to a “alternative” music piss poor if you ask me full of posers including staff which is a shame.

Typical Costa coffee. Bit expensive but we all know what we get at these cafes. This one is just like the rest in the chain. Decent offers if you collect though the Costa app - so guess loyalty keeps those prices down a bit with the freebie offers that do come quite quickly on the app.

Lovely pub, friendly staff. We had a carvery it was lovely, food hot and a good choice of vegetables. Nice playing area and garden for children. The only downside to our experience was the playing if Christmas songs the 26th October🙈 I feel for the staff if they have to listen to that until Christmas 🎄. Otherwise lovely pub would visit again if in Liverpool.
