Courtyard Bar & Kitchen in Liverpool

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos pasar por The Courtyard Bar & Kitchen, hemos estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un gran bar de aspecto, de pisos múltiples, un llamativo bar de servicio domina la sala principal, una maravillosa decoración y muebles y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todas partes, es solo un bar realmente bueno para relajarse. Fuimos recibidos y sentados por un miembro muy agradable del equipo del bar, pedimos cervezas que se servían heladas frías y espumosas, para una comida fuimos por hamburguesas con papas fritas, mientras bebíamos nuestras deliciosas cervezas nuestras comidas llegaron y qué delicia. La hamburguesa era espesa, jugosa y bellamente sazonada y servida caliente entre dos bollos frescos y sabrosos, las patatas fritas también eran deliciosas, junto con nuestras cervezas encantadoras hechas para una gran experiencia gastronómica en un maravilloso bar, no es sorprendente que este bar es tan popular entre las hamburguesas y cervezas servidas en esta buena condición por el personal que está genuinamente contento de verte en su bar. El Courtyard Kitchen & Bar es fácil de encontrar a lo largo de Roe Street. El horario de apertura es; Domingo y lunes, cerrado. Martes a viernes, abierto de 16 h. Sábado, abierto desde mediodía. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Vine aquí enero de 2023 y 2024 para una comida antes de un espectáculo en la corte real con mi pareja su hermana y su prometido. Estaba ocupado, pero nos atendieron rápidamente el personal que trabaja muy duro y amable! La comida era buena y todavía tenían un menú festivo. Volvimos después del show para más bebidas buen ambiente y vimos y hablamos con algunos de los elencos del show allí! Buenas noches.

A great bar and restaurant to go with family and friends. They have a wide variety of beers and cocktails. Swift service, friendly staff and amazing food.

Small bites menu was a bit limited, but the food was excellent. Service was superb and just right for picking a few 'small plates' to put together a little share meal.

Habíamos reservado arriba para una comida corporativa de celebración para 30 personas arriba utilizando uno de los menús establecidos que habíamos reservado. Muy último minuto en el día que tuvimos 2 personas adicionales unirse a nosotros. CBK no podría haber sido más servicial y sirvió a nuestros dos huéspedes adicionales sin ningún alboroto. Incluso pudieron tener la misma comida del menú establecido. Desde el momento en que llegamos el personal era atento y el servicio era fabuloso. La comida era la mejor que habíamos tenido toda la semana en Liverpool. No podría recomendar este lugar aún más, fue una gran noche con un servicio fantástico y comida. Sin duda volveré para una visita con mi familia!

Booked a meal here before a show at the royal court and then some friends met for a drink lovely food great service unfortunately one of our friends had a fall down the stairs and had to go in an ambulance the staff went above and beyond to help called the ambulance and made sure we were all ok they contacted the theatre who offered us all to rebook for another night they went above and beyond thankyou all so much 👏👏👏

Hidden gem next to the Royal Court, perfect for pre show drinks. Covered outdoor area is large with heaters so good spot.

We entered just accidentally, but what a delicious food. Everything was perfect (soup fantastic) and also size is king :) Strongly recommend.

Had the mis fortune to call in here at the weekend after being in the royal court theatre. Wow. The toilets are filthy. Absolutely bad. Pee all over the place. Cheap blue hand towels all over the floor and then sticking to your shoes. Bins over flowing. And visitors to Liverpool see this! Shocking.

Aquí con un amigo para una cena pre-teatro. Era un jueves, y habíamos reservado lo que aconsejaría ya que se pone bastante ocupado. El servicio fue bueno en todo momento. Su menú, 2 o 3 platos por un precio fijo, es realmente buena relación calidad-precio, y tiene una selección decente. Pedí que empezara el pastel de salmón tailandés, y el hoisin caramalizado y cerdo de jengibre para la red. La comida era buena, sabrosa, pero había niggles. El pastel de pescado tailandés parecía no tener ningún sabor tailandés, ni las virutas de mayonesa o vegetales / ensalada que lo acompañan. Un buen pastel de salmón. Es la principal, generosas porciones de arroz y cerdo tirado, pero la salsa era muy espesa, y no había suficiente de ella dada la cantidad de arroz que vienen con ella. Pero como he dicho, ambos muy sabrosos, y por el precio que pueda estar piqueteando. Repuds, no estaba de humor, pero mi amigo sí, y se fue con su desastre. Dijo que era así, pero no le gustaba la textura merengue. Dejando de lado los pequeños gemidos, ambos acordamos que volveríamos felices. Es un buen lugar, gran VFM, y un ambiente encantador. Y muchos otros platos que nos gustaría probar.

We used to go here when it was the Penny Farthing, now the Coutyard. We went early doors before a concert in St. Georges Hall. Good menu choice and superb food and service. Three course meal for two only £44. Young lady who served us was excellent.

Fui antes de ir a la Corte Real. La comida era muy buena al igual que el servicio, precios muy grandes. También un descuento en la primera ronda de bebidas por ir al teatro por primera vez nunca esperó eso. Nunca he estado antes, pero, sin duda volveré allí de nuevo.

Lovely staff, food and drink prices very reasonable with view of famous Liverpudlian buildings

Good range of choices. Cost £18 for 2 courses or £22 for 3. It represents the best value for money for dining in The City Centre. Service friendly and efficient. Also fantastic outlook towards the historic St Georges Hall. Undoubtably the best choice for people visiting nearby theatres including the Playhouse and Empire which are no more than 5 minute walk away. Portion sizes are generous and all food tasted great and was attractively presented.

The food was lovely and very reasonably priced (£18 for 2 courses or £22 for three) The menu isn’t huge , but the quality of the meal was lovely. Service was good and attentive ,but not intrusive. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had a lovely bottle of wine with the meal and then watched the world go by. Meal with drinks and tips came to £70. All in all a lovely place to spend a few hours. Would go again.

Hired top floor. Staff couldn’t have done anymore! All helpful, kind, polite, accommodated our every need. Food was delish, nibbles, starters, mains and deserts were all beautifully presented and tasted fantastic! Room upstairs was beautiful, views brilliant. Toilets were kept clean throughout. Would highly recommend for all occasions. All your staff are a credit.

Booked a table for 4 people for 12.30pm on a Saturday for a pre-theatre meal. I am not from Liverpool and found Courtyard Bar and Kitchen ok Google maps just looking for restaurants in the area. I am pleased I chose here! We all ate different food, though I had the spring vegetable risotto which was delicious! Also had a side of hummus with pitta bread which again was spot on. The meal ended up cheaper than I expected as they had a discounted offer on "pre-theatre" which I hadn't been aware of. Staff were attentive and had good customer service skills. After our meal we sat outside for a drink as the weather was quite nice out. They have outdoor heaters which makes it even better for the colder days. All in all we had a great time.

Love it in here. Delicious food (I had swordfish) at a good price. Great location, and the service is excellent. Always my go-to when in Liverpool City centre

My twin brother and I dropped into The Courtyard and had a really good time in here. The restaurant looks superb, a light and airy interior, a wonderful looking serving bar dominates the main room, modern decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's a great place to unwind in. We ordered beers while we checked out their menu, beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and in the end we both opted to have fish and chips, a short wait and our meals arrived and what a treat. Fish was really good, lightly battered and beautifully seasoned, so tasty and the chips were awesome and all washed down by an iced cold beer. We really enjoyed our meals and beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Courtyard is easy to locate along Roe Street. Well worth checking in with you in the area.

It was so cold in there, small menu,, starter feta cheese was off,, sword fish, had no taste at all, and my potatoes was covered in a tin of tomatos,, never visit there again

Came here January 2023 for a meal before a show at Royal court with my partner his sister and her fiancé. It was busy but we were served quickly staff working really hard and friendly! Food was good and they still had a festive menu on. We returned after the show for further drinks good atmosphere and seen and spoke to some of the cast from the show in there! A Good night.

Beautiful restaurant, we went here after a show at The Royal Court (stocking fillers, amazing). We were seated upstairs with the most amazing view. The atmosphere was perfect, I was with my parents and partner, and all ate from the 3 course menu £22.00 so cheap, the food was gorgeous. The Christmas dinner, steak pie, and fish & chips were all delicious. 100% will be back. Little gem in liverpool. High standards and very reasonable, 3 course's for 4 people, and drinks just over £100. We will be going back.

Good food. Daughter really loved the Christmas roast dinner with the mulled wine gravy. My steak and blue cheese pie was good. Nice if slightly limited menu. Busy early evening had it to ourselves afterwards. Buzzing disco downstairs gave it a nice atmosphere - partyish.

Our stayed was very memorable . Mohamed at the front desk was very helpful and resourceful . Not forgetting Roberto and his team at the coffee house as always done an excellent job making us feel at home .

We were going to the Royal Court and arrived in time to have a meal before the show. Very helpful staff, lovely food. Tiny criticism 'Don't put tinsel and lights on the stair rail, I needed it to get between floors'.

Had a brilliant meal tonight 16th November. Good value for money staff were amazing and friendly the cleanliness was spot on service was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Our 1st time here will be visiting again and highly recommend to friends and family.

Lovely restaurant, bar is downstairs, and restaurant upper level. I ate here with my daughter before a theatre visit. Wr didn't have a booking but they were able to accommodate us. Lovely food, fast service, Pleasent atmosphere, and decent priced cocktails.

Had a lovely meal before theatre. Staff were very friendly. Great value for money. The teriyaki salmon was amazing and my husbands lamb was delicious. Would recommend booking as they were turning a lot away as they were fully booked

Yet another visit to this fab restaurant, this is our go to restaurant before or after visiting The Royal Court Theatre. Food selection is really good with either a 2 or 3 course fixed price menu. Always changing the menu options, so never get bored. Have brilliant cocktails too, so we also partake. Love this place 👍

Absolutely superb service. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Light airy place great views. Would most definitely advise people to visit this place. 2 courses £18 or 3 £22.

Meal options not amazing and was shocked that they only had a pre theatre menu. Chicken wing not to taste very sweet. Lamb was lovely but the mash was like a cheap microwave mash no texture to it or fluffiness more like cement very thick and gluey. Fish and chips fish was overbooked on the ends which made it hard to eat. Desert cheesecake was lovely but the passion fruit tart just not to my taste. But I’m sure others will love it.

We had a lovely pre theatre dinner at the Courtyard bar and kitchen last night. The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. I loved the Cherry Spiritz cocktail. The food was delicious and very good value. This is a great place to eat, relax and socialise!

This was our first visit. Most impressed to say the least and we will be back. Food was delicious and the portions were on the generous side. All the staff who served us were absolutely lovely.

We recently held our wedding party at the courtyard hiring the downstairs bar and outdoor area. Any arrangements we needed before hand were all dealt with brilliantly and on the night the staff were unbelievable (in particular Millie) They made everything run so smoothly we didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of our guests commented on how amazing the staff, food and venue were and we honestly can’t recommend it more. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for making it such a great night!

Squeezed us in early on a matchday which was great for a quick stop off for a lunch. Staff were super friendly, chatty and engaging as well as attentive with stuff like drinks. All three courses arrived quickly and were of decent quality, particularly the pitta breads to start. Atmosphere rather strange with fairly loud music but expect this is a positive in the evenings. Views were fantastic and overall a reliable and cost friendly lunch option on the set menu!

Usually visit pre theatre. Amazing cocktails, lovely burger and halloumi pitta from the BBQ. Just one small criticism, the chips where far too salty and we couldn’t eat them. Told the staff but we were just told they would let the chef know. No apology 😞.

Celebrated wifes 70th birthday yesterday with over 30 family and friends. Can't praise it enough. The food & the service from all the staff was brilliant. Not one person had any bad comments about the food. All raved about the quality and presentation especially for the price. Special thanks to Emma for sorting everything for us. We had 3 hours upstairs then they reserved some tables for us in covered outside area where we stayed for drinks,great again. Thanks Emma and all the staff for a great day. Dave & Christine

Friendly staff. Food not great, although pretty reasonable, so maybe it's a case of you get what you pay for? Cabbage on the starter was sloppy as was the cauliflower for the main. The menu reads better than the execution of the dishes

Always eat there when going to see a play or show. Tonight what happened have they changed the kitchen. The staff were fantastic as always but the food? Prawn cocktail to start 4 prawns in a plastic cocktail glass with 2 bits of lettuce slice of lemon bit of sauce. No plate for plastic glass to sit on or your spoon or folk to go on. Main meal pan fried sea bass on a bed of cold sauce potatoes and stem broccoli. Only one fillet of sea bass usually get two. The fish was hot and cooked lovely obviously cooked fresh but rest of meal had been on the plate for god knows how long Did complain and was not charged for my drinks but would have sooner had a good meal. Once agai fantastic staff but what's happening in the kitchen .

Arrived in a wheelchair, ramp outside front door so accessible, however there is no access to the restaurant upstairs, but bar downstairs and toilets accessible.Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Food was stunning. Would recommend.

Want to say a massive THANK YOU to Emma and all the team for helping us with our wedding celebrations at Courtyard Bar and Kitchen this August. Our guests had the best time, the wedding dinner and the evening buffet was delicious and filling, the service was on point, the location was so convenient and venue was well maintained. All staff were so helpful and approachable, couldn’t fault any part of this venue or the staff. All of our guests were really impressed and many said they will be back for the food.
