A pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Chester I take is The Oddfellows Arms, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here. A great looking pub, interior is superb, multi roomed, a cute looking serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport, pubby decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a bitterly cold February afternoon, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered beers from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out, warmed up and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our beers. My beer was really good, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Oddfellows Arms we had a great time. The Oddfellows Arms is easy to locate along Frodsham Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a trip to Chester.

I I could give 0 stars I would One Star – Extremely Disappointed, Be Warned I had a really bad experience staying at Hotel 15 in Chester. Upon arrival, the staff explicitly told me where I could park for free. I parked exactly where I was advised to, and they even saw me park there. A few weeks later, I received 2 parking fines I’ve emailed the hotel twice over the past two months, hoping they would at least acknowledge the issue or help resolve it — but I’ve been completely ignored. Not a single response. Their lack of responsibility and poor customer service has been shocking. In the end, I’ve had to pay the fine myself, which was about the same cost as the hotel stay. Essentially, I’ve paid double for one night, all because of their bad advice and refusal to engage afterwards. I definitely won’t be returning, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to be very careful, especially with parking. Terrible service, and a really disappointing

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the best Costa. Led by Amy this shop is amazing, it's clean, warm, friendly. The staff are all great and so welcoming. The latte and hot chocolate are wonderful and the cheese and Wiltshire ham toastie is to die for. We are always made welcome. Well done Amy keep up the good work.

After vowing never to go to M&S cafe (Gemini) again, I visited the one in Chester last week. What a difference- able to pick up/order what I wanted via a person and enjoy on a clean/empty table. . I made a point of speaking to the Manager and advised her of such a pleasant experience. If she has any influence over the changes at the larger stores with the unhygienic touch control system( no facility to clean the screens) which leaves customers with either cold food or cold drink, whilst waiting for the other half of an order to arrive, I sincerely hope that Management listen. If the number of adverse reviews isn’t enough to make them reconsider, I assume they aren’t interested. Will spend our money at alternative venues.

Exploring around this part of the city my twin brother and I decided to drop by this Starbucks outlet, been here before on many occasions over the years, always had a positive experience and so it proved on our latest visit to here. A decent enough Starbucks, interior is superb, typical Starbucks decor and furnishings, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe, its just a really good cafe to unwind in. We ordered a cappuccino coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. A big fan of the coffee served in Starbucks, its consistant in all their outlets and their cappuccino is a particular favourite of mine . We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to this particular Starbucks we had a great time. This Starbucks is easy to locate along Northgate Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 7.30am till 7pm. Sunday, 8.30am till 6pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
