We came here for breakfast one morning. The staff were lovely and welcome as soon as we walked in. Ask and brought over a highchair without us having to ask. They’ve a dedicated vegan section on the menu which is great! Kids get a free pancake and then you just pay for topping. I went for the banana blue I think it was called which was nice, I also had a smoothie which was good too. My husband really enjoyed his pancake too. We planned to return but unfortunately they were shut that day! Would return and recommend.

On the last visit I didn't have much to eat or drink. It is however very nice and I have eaten here a fair few times. Really good coffee, excellent cakes and a super friendly service. On the last visit they help me out with some water for my thirsty doggie.... She was hot so needed water for her. No way could I resist the chocolate Cake and a coffee... Perfect....

Rain or shine, my favourite place in Chester!!

Dropped in on a Saturday night with friends to find live music in the shape of a singer with guitar and a drummer on a cajon. Was going to be one stop on a pub crawl but they were so good we stayed the rest of the night. Great drinks great music fantastic night!

Called in for a quick drink on our way to somewhere else. £10 for a small glass of Pinot Grigio, WOW! I’ve never paid this much, ever. Not even in more upmarket restaurants. This place is nothing special whatsoever and to add insult to injury I noticed later, on the receipt, that I’d also been charged £2.70 as a tip. So four drinks + the tip came to nearly £40 !

One of my favourite spots for breakfast. I’ve eaten in here a few times but i mainly get breakfast to takeaway from here. The staff are lovely and the food is always fresh. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and nice place to eat for breakfast!

If you like your coffee mellow and smooth this is good coffee. The micro bubbles in the milk was absolutely spot on. I do prefer my coffee quite strong with A kick, the service and atmosphere was nice and calming.

My partner and I just wanted coffee and cake as a treat, but my partner wanted really good cake, and he wanted to sit outside, so Zugers was the first place to spring to mind. We chose to sit out in the courtyard space at the back, and that is such a lovely place, as it is so peaceful and tranquil, especially as Chester was extremely busy at the time with race-goers moving from the pubs down to the course; we literally couldn’t hear any of it. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional, with a good range of knowledge about the products. There was a fantastic array of cakes, covering just about every taste, and it was difficult to choose. Presentation was excellent, the portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted amazing. It was perfect, and we’re looking forward to going back again as soon as we can. Happy to recommend.
