The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Friendly staff with a warm welcome. We came here several times during our stay at Windermere Lake. Bar staff were great - we enjoyed the weekly quiz night on a Thursday (family friendly and dog friendly) and then had Afternoon Tea on our last day of holiday - highly recommended! The roaring river outside provides an amazing setting and we heard the steam train toot-toot past too. A great place which deserves to be rated much higher.

Loved this place! Great location with excellent views of Lake Windermere and the marina. Friendly, professional and attentive staff - a little wait while they were busy but we just look in the views and our delicious cocktails (pomegranate daquari and espresso martini) arrived in no time! Highly recommend!

Man that works there called my baby ‘that’. Asked me to move the car seat over as he wasn’t comfortable walking past ‘that’ with 2 plates of food, but he still had to walk past HIM anyway, just with the car seat on his left instead of his right. Won’t be going back lol, he was rude and the female staff members didn’t know where to look when it happened.

Horrible. I went for an outing with my friends. The seating was amazing, therefore the location deserves a star. Then it all began to go downhill. Me and my friends waited at the counter for 5 minutes before I politely said "excuse me" and was stared at by staff then ignored. After about 7 minutes I politely asked to be served and was looked up and down and ignored. We were finally served and the person serving us was impolite and didn't ask us what sizes our drinks were or the overall price. Terrible.

It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive but when it did it was delicious. The staff were friendly. There is free WiFi. Dogs are welcome both inside and outside the venue.

Mi esposa, yo y dos de nuestros amigos vinimos aquí a tomar un café y una torta, después de caminar por Chester. Está bastante bien fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena el paseo adicional lejos del centro de la ciudad. Todo a un precio razonable y de buena calidad. El personal era muy amable y hizo que nuestra visita fuera muy agradable. Fue muy agradable sentarse en los sofás de cuero y relajarse mientras tomaba una copa.

Went here for a coffee. It was disgusting. Tasted like water. We sat outside, had barely been there 2 minutes until a staff member came to tell us, abruptly, "we're closing in 15 minutes", no smile, no polite delivery. With hindsight we should have gone somewhere else but we were in a rush. There are plenty of other cafes, bars, restaurants in the area so go to our of those and avoid here.

Went on Sunday 15th December - Was very busy but only one lady working. She was fantastic though - it must have been very stressful for her but she was working so hard! She was running the till, making the drinks and sorting the food out. I couldn’t do that all by myself. Hats off to her! She deserves a pay rise!!!

El personal es encantador, la comida no es así (queso en tostadas apenas tenía queso!) bebidas ok - - - pero cuidado que piden dinero en efectivo sólo si se puede.

Staff excellent, food also,service too,BUT the music is deafening, customers all shouting at each other, spoils the experience.

Estaba deseando disfrutar del chocolate caliente Neros new Millionaires con la crema de chocolate espesa en la parte superior. Estaba extremadamente decepcionado con lo que recibí. La crema en la parte superior era espuma fina y acuosa teñida de chocolate y no la anunciada en la imagen. Si hubiera sabido esto, no lo habría pedido y no pediría otro. Muy mala calidad y no es lo que se espera de la imagen.

Avoid at all costs salad had to order from QR code even though staff stood round doing nothing had to ask 3 times for glasses for drinks. Salad bar was wiltered all pizzas where cold as soon as a fresh one came out one man took 9 Pieces staff didn’t stop him Food was cold hard and stale. 5 minutes after getting home I was being sick partner was in bathroom Had stomach cramps and been I’ll all afternoon Food poisoning at its best Avoid at all costs

Called in whilst visiting the park. The cafe is really nice looking like a pagoda. Had a very good latte and a very tasty brownie. Great views of the park from the terrace

Good location and I enjoy it when I can get a table but it's the smallest Costa in the area and it's always packed. Tables need clearing faster too. Otherwise though it's enjoyable to visit and I'm a fan of the chain generally.
