The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Just terrible. We were very early for our skiing lessons so went in here for a drink, ordered our drinks and the young girl behind the bar barely said a word, she didn't actively acknowledge us when we went up to the bar she just stood in silence until we ordered, then poured our drinks and plonked them on the bar, ran the payment to the card machine and again said nothing. I think perhaps at most she said Thanks or another one word remark. After the skiing they direct you up here for a free drink that was included as part of the lesson cost. Our lessons were at 8 so it was about 10:15 by the time we had returned kit and got up to the bar. A young girl behind the bar, perhaps the same as earlier, completely ignored us despite us being stood right in front of her and then started collecting beer drip mats instead, so the lad adjacent came over to serve despite being further away. He was at least nice and well mannerer but they were actively shutting down the bar, so no draught options were available. Only the stuff in the fridge they said, the Asahi was alcohol free and the Peroni was gluten free which always gives an odd taste so the only other option was Corona for a beer. The missus asked for a white wine but they said that wasn't allowed either so basically only cider was the choice. No sooner had we got drinks then they started turning all the lights and TVs off essentially forcing everyone out. The only reason I've given 2 and not 1 star is because of the lad behind the bar who was polite and a decent view of the slope.

Good place to come for a pint, and watch the big screen.

Always a lovely place for a drink in the beer garden in summer, food is always decent, but sometimes a little slow, but rarely an issue.

Regular to La'go over the years but only recently realised they do a pub quiz on a Sunday and turns out it's boss! Money up for grabs and it's a laugh! Stayed a bit longer than expected because the drinks were ridiculously cheap...

Came in here, everyone friendly albeit a bit rough round the edges. If you want karaoke and you don't mind a bit of banter this place can be fun. Don't take your mum though....

Good butcher. Fruit and veg well stocked. Good selection of both food and non food including some clothing.

It's OK. Cheap and cheerful. Not as bad as most other spoons

The food was OK. There wasn't enough pitta bread on the starter and there was a bowl of olive oil.. did they miss the balsamic vinegar. Peppercorn sauce had a few peppercorns in the sauce but was bland and tasteless. Steak pudding and fish pie was OK. Downside are the dog owners who allow their dogs to yap until they give them food and the one who had her dog sat on her knee and then eat her burger.. maybe dog free areas.

I ordered a cheese and ham croissant and got delivered a cold croissant. When I rang the shop they said that they didn’t have any cheese and ham croissants. Surely given how long Just Eat delivery has been going the shop should be able to ring you and say your item isn’t available. What can I get you instead and just be charged or refunded any difference And I waited ages for this.

The Asian lady is the sweetest I have seen in any Costa! Honestly, her way of dealing with the customers makes your day!

Fantastic place, bar staff very friendly. Very cheap drink and always get a good beer, never taken one back yet. Karaoke usually on a Friday and Sunday evening. Usually very busy. Don't sell food unless you want crisps etc. Toilet for disabled.
