Costa Coffee in Stockport

Never again. Terrible service. The supposed manager Lou and another barista called Lauren were laughing and joking very loudly with a customer who was sitting at a table and ignoring the customers. I asked for my drink and the manager asked Lauren to make it to which the reply was no! The manger said just do your job! Totally unprofessional. Staff need replacing before I set foot in there again

Called in for a quiet hot chocolate with my sister,and never again. The noise was ridculous,and I dont mean the sort of noise that creates ambience or atmosphere.I'm sure that the girl behind the counter was the saucer-stacking world champion at noise making,chinking the crockery loudly.This plus very loud and vocal staff,the (expected) sound of the steam machine made it one of the most anti-social places I have ever been.We chose to leave,and mentioned my issues to the staff on the way out.The 'hot' chocolate wasn't hot,there was hardly any taste to it,and at a ludicrous £3.40 each for a medium.Not for me thanks,I'll stay well away.Paracetamols should be offered on the counter free of charge....they would need regular replenishment.

Absolute disgrace the person serving did not listen got order wrong and had a don’t care attitude. She never listened to order and got it wrong she was no use nor ornament Then she stormed off absolutely hopeless member of staff thank goodness there is a decent manager !

You can never go wrong with Costa coffee. Well sanitised and very clean, staff were very helpful and great to deal with.

Got food waited ages for coffee no happy service like it use to be no friendly greeting like it use to be all in all only if im desperate for a coffee will i visit this store soo muss the regular staff

Cheadle need to sort their act out. Visited with family today and the tables were a disgrace and so was the floor. I moved the trays and rubbish off our table on to the top of the bin, and it was never cleared or cleaned even as we left an hour later. The other tables we watched, they were never cleaned or cleared either. One customer asked for a table and the floor to be cleaned only to get hold of a brush herself and start to clean the floor, herself ! As always the toilets were dirty too. The range of food choice was poor, especially for vegans. I'll stick to Cafe Nero in future.

My elderly mother visited this cafe at the weekend and used the toilet whilst there. She was shocked! Urine and water all over the floor, no toilet paper and no soap to wash hands with! Unbelievable when we are in the middle of an epidemic and hygiene is so important!

Coffee tasted of nothing and was the worst example of a Casta I have ever tried to date. The barista had been using the same cup to make the coffee in all day, before pouring it into my glass. The cup was caked in deep coffee stains all over and did not get a clean between servings - frankly disgusting! Thanks Jade but you need to learn how to clean and make coffee.

Very friendly talkative staff. At the end of the day it’s only a coffee, but felt welcoming which sometimes doesn’t occur when you enter a coffee shop wearing Lycra and carrying a bike helmet and all the rest of my gear. Thanks girls

I have been on a boycott of Costa for over 12 months. No matter where I go...Poor coffee and average service. In the absence of an independent open at 8.30am, I succumbed. Average service. Asked for hot milk and got cold. Nothing changes.

This is a fairly bland chain. I ordered a watermelon and coconut cooler. Which took a while to make, tasted slightly watery. Good and quick service. Seemed to take a long time to clear and clean the tables.
