Fantastic bar in the heart of Maghull, with a range of beers and spirits on offer. The customer service is excellent from Belinda and her team and we will be returning again soon.

Wow, this place now resembles an underage disco from the early nighties. Genuinely confused to who their audience is? I think perhaps, anyone. The only late night place in Maghull, with thousands of residents to attract, alot with good disposable income, yet the last 2 times I've been in there it's full of kids, clearly some around 16. Trainers, Montirex, one tens and the smell of weed in the outdoor area. Definitely room now for a new bar in Maghull, oh and one that does not serve cocktails from a tap 🤣🙄🤣 If I could give 0 I would and it grates on me to put 1 star. Sort it out guys.

Returned to watch FA Cup final, great afternoon , terrific atmosphere . Unlike some other venues they didn't hike the prices . Looking forward to another return next time over . Captain Neil Isle of Man

Went here on Saturday with 2 friends. I ordered a vodka and tonic. The drink was vile. Upon leaving I took the drink back to the barmaid.I told her that I couldn’t drink it and requested a refund. She told me to go over and tell the manager myself and gestured towards a table of middle aged women drinking. I told the barmaid that I didn’t want to find the manager and wanted her to deal with it. She then started to scream at me and accuse me of talking down to her. We left in the end. On hindsight I now realised that I was served vodka and soda. The atmosphere is toxic and what kind of manager drinks on the job? If you want to be served the wrong drink and be screamed at this is the place for you. The correct response from the barmaid should have been “I’m sorry you feel like that, I’ll find you the manager who will deal with it” Obviously this girl needs to go on a customer service course.

Had a lovely night out here friendly place and felt accepted as a visibly trans person . Drinks were good value and brilliant choice from weaker bud light to true ales . Fab venue , open till 2am !

What a fantastic venue , they couldn't do enough for us all. We'd gone randomly to watch the football. We met the Queen , how polite , we will be returning soon for the Natiobal . A must visit destination Captain Neil Isle of Man

Prices are extortionate for the portions they offer, when they gave me the bill nearly fell of my chair had to go for a kebab on the way home

We've been a couple of times - the first wasn't a great experience - very dirty glasses full of lipstick, bad attitude of owner when asked politely for a clean one. I like to support small businesses so hoping this was a one-off, went again a few weeks later only to be given another glass full of lipstick - this time my replacement was also the same but then just wiped with a tea towel & given back!). The attitude of the owner was disgraceful and we won't be back.

What a lovely friendly place to go for a drink or a bite to eat. Homemade curry and chilli freshly prepared by Ant the owner. Bilynda is welcoming and friendly and gives you 100% fabulous service. Would really recommend this bar, I'm not sure why it receives negative reviews I can only assume rival businesses.

We thought we would give it a go despite all the bad reviews online and from the locals, one friend suggested we check it out ourselves we might be surprised so we gave it the benefit of the doubt. Well we definitely was surprised! How on earth is this place still open? The lady who owns it is like a bull dog chewing a wasp, she’s vile. She looks at you like you are a peasant and she is doing you a favour even though it is your money that keeps her business going. The absolute rudeness from her put a downer on the night straight away. We stayed for the food anyway but I wish we had just left at the beginning because it was awful. It had a strange taste to it and I just kept thinking about what someone had told me about the state of the kitchens and their old business so didn’t eat it. The glasses we got had lipstick and marks on them too. It was an absolute waste of time coming here and we will never ever be coming back. It’s very tacky inside and the owner is even tackier. I wish I never gave her a penny of our money. Such a shame and a waste of a business, I hope someone takes over and makes good use of the building as it has the potential to be something nice and bring something new and tasteful to maghull. If you have been warned about this place then don’t even bother trying it for yourself. God knows how it’s still making enough money to stay open.

Fabulous! took the family here and received an amazingly warm welcome - the food was hot, fresh and perfectly served - the cocktails were strong ! the beer was cold and tasty ... the price was great value. See you again

So impressed and happy with our experience at this restaurant/bar last night. The welcome from the owner was 2nd to none, Belinda was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. The decor is breathtaking on approach and throughout. We were made comfortable when seated at an open booth table. We were given assistance with recommendations on vegetarian dishes. Special attention was paid to my young daughter and she even had a special mocktail made for her. When the food arrived at our table it was received with ooo’s and yumm’s. Took the classic food pic! We feasted and enjoyed every mouthful, make sure you have napkins at the ready. All the staff regularly checked in on us throughout our meal. Atmosphere was lively, entertained with tv screens and music. All round the place was a delight, staff friendly, caring and helpful. Their hospitality skills were very good. From start to finish this establishment and staff made our experience memorable and us wanting to return. Highly recommend anyone to visit here.

Came with 3 of my friends at 11.15pm - says its open til 2 so got a taxi because we heard good things from aintree. As soon as we arrived the bouncer greeted us with a no despite it being advertised as open til 2am, and despite there being plenty of tables we were stood waiting for a taxi and refused entry because “the bar maid doesnt like it when people come in after 11” confused didnt think this was how opening hours worked? Joke of a bar wouldnt recommend to anyone after this experience

walked in to a woman who looks like she's just fell off woolworths pic n mix then found out it was the owner bellenda,apperntly she's supposed to be the queen of maghull so her fella said anyway , not a single person in there because she has covid and scares them all off ,cheers thanks Bellenda

Overpriced and couldn't pay on card

Rubbish badly kept beer and weak overpriced cocktails served by an acid permed old man with an attitude problem...the sooner it closes down the better!

Visited with family,very strange woman on duty,possibly the proprietor. Overbearing and not at all helpful, food reasonable but nothing to get excited about. Would not return

Excellent food and service burritos were to die for and wife had lamb shank which melted off bone also karaoke on and evening was superb

Went here to watch football and have a few drinks with some friends before going for an Indian across the road. Nice bar, good atmosphere, reasonable prices and decent selection of drinks including draft San Miguel which is my personal favourite. Seating cubicles a bit snug but otherwise a comfortable place.

had a great evening here after our meal in what we found was their other bar the square bar great atmosphere cocktails are a winner

Opening night after a new refurb (exactly the same) 4 pints of san miguel not drank as they tasted awful so had to move onto bottles. Overall a once great place ruined. Luckily i was barred for daring to ask for a plastic cup to take my beer with me which had just cost me 8 pound for 2.
