Costa Coffee in Sefton

Usually takes a while to get served as they seem to take preference for the Home deliveries side of things rather than physical customers. Drinks are hot and tasty, food is nice, atmosphere is cosy and the place is always busy.

The girl with short dark hair is fantastic she is always friendly and helpful no matter how busy she is.

The staff in this Costa are lovely. Really friendly and always chatty. I love how it has an upstairs which is small but always quiet so you can have coffee and work in peace

My daughter called in around 3pm for a medium skinny wet latte with 2 extra shots and a.small berry cooler. Apart from costing almost £10 the drinks were disgusting. The cooler was only 2/3 full and the latte was like a flat white coffee with 2 extra shots in it. My daughter brought it to the car. I opened it to put a sugar in it and found it had been filled to the very brim. I spilt some over my hand and over my clothes. It was far too full and the barista should be far more careful. Obviously from the state of the coffee which ended up getting threw away cs it was undrinkable and the undermeasure of the cooler we will not be going there again and would not recommend to anyone

Really disappointed. We order a coffee every few days but on this occasion the order was so bad. both the latte and Cappuccino was awful. So watery but strong there didn’t seem to be any sugar free caramel in the latte and the cappuccino seemed as though skimmed milk had been used. ended up making our own and think we will save our money and continue to do so.

Very polite an apologetic delivery driver explained the 2 coffees fell off the bike while en route. I guess the wrap went as well because it was covered in wet/coffee! Only solution offered was to request a refund on the app.

Always love Costa but there KitKat frappe wasn't very nice, popcorn one is super tasty though 😋😋

Worst Costa ever?. Toilets always broken, orders often wrong after a long wait...easy things to improve but never seem too...Take Away you may strike it lucky,...

Arrived 20 minutes later than the original 'latest' time. Coffee was luke warm and the sandwich was coldish and a bit damp (guessing from sitting in its packaging for a while) so had to be reheated. Driver was polite.

Sent the coffee - got a latte instead of a cappuccino. Service was good otherwise and coffee tasty as always.

Delivery was due between 15-30 mins which is why we ordered for our lunch break, it took 50 minutes. Also the latte had leaked out over the bag. For £17 it was quite disappointing.

Had to get rid of my latte this afternoon, it tasted like old coffee! Not sure if the machines aren't being clean or what but not worth £4.00

the food was fine it was just not what I ordered tried to spoil myself and make my morning a little better and then I get a completely wrong order LAME!!!

It's a lovely little neighborhood Costa shop but please guys clean your portfilters and milk jugs more frequently because I live across the road and pop in regularly and they're just never clean. The coffee station is visible and sometimes the mess there really bothers me, and you can taste old coffee grinds in your coffee. I've also been served milk that's clearly gone off recently so please just make it a little tidier.

Ordered today... they rang me to say they went to the wrong place on the same road and that the will be a few minutes. Order never turned up ... it is a joke that even if I get a refund from just eat I'm still out nearly £5.00 for fee's. I will not be using again.

Polite driver and good delivery time. Unfortunately one of the coffees had spilt in the bag quite a lot. Driver was very apologetic and that drink was immediately refunded by Just Eat, so no major issue at all.

Was sent a soya milk cappucino. I couldnt drink it as I dont like soya. Food was good.

Worst delivery Ive ever received from Costa. 1st time using this branch. Received items with bag torn in half nearly, dripping with coffee that was spilled. Wint order from this branch again!

Whoevers on shift for the late afternoon today clearly doesn't give one, order is entirely wrong, foods obviously been tossed into the bag in a rush. First order was completely correct from the other day and the typical service you'd expect so what happened??

Costa said expected delivery 15-25 at the time of ordering then gave me a time 40-60 minutes upon placing the order, delivered just before the 40 minute mark.

Cold, not sealed drinks half full spilled. How can you be sure a driver hasn't drank the drink if not sealed

Just ordered a flat white from here as a takeaway. You could barely taste the coffee. Undrinkable unless you want a mug of warm milk.

Driver delivered multiple orders after collecting ours, resulting in a 5 minute journey time taking over 30 minutes. Coffee was delivered cold.

Cappiciano is when you temp the fats from the cooked milk to make a 'cap.' If it's not possible to temp the supremo milk then don't have it available as a cappuccino then... kids are crying now nice one Love from karen

If I could give 0 stars, that would be perfect! I have no idea what is happening with the employees here, because it is not good at all! They are not doing their job properly! The old ones, the ones before grade 10, but these ones now are a disaster! She gives you a dirty cup, you ask to drink it inside, she gives it to you to take away, she doesn't give you a spoon, napkins, she forgets to give you milk, even if you ordered, you wait a long time to order something, she looks bad at you, and I talk very bad with the customers! I am not satisfied at all with the new employees, and I am a loyal customer there, I frequent this cafe every day!

I absolutely love costa coffee. My choice out of my local coffee shops by far. Staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and tidy

Popped in for a coffee on a beautiful Friday afternoon it was quite in there shop first appearance clean stocked up full presentation and approachable staff. The gentleman behind the counter with greyish long hair tyed up was at my service made eye contact greeted me with a good afternoon!!! Which I feel is right there's nothing worse then being approached by alright mate/pal so good on u however the other staff member in there making the coffees abit like ok not really interested the girl behind the counter might of been training but at least u got a smile which is good wood I go back I think so

It's nice to get a cup of tea and hot chocolate every now and then

The drink had spilled all over the sandwich so couldn’t eat as soggy, the coffee spilled all over my hall way as it had leaked through the bag!

I ordered a piece of cake for £4 and was sent cornflakes covered in chocolate for £2?!? Why wasn't I called to ask about a substitution? I expect a refund on the difference at least but this is very bad customer service.

Forgot straws again for iced coffees! After putting in the notes please don't forget straws they still did forget

One of the drinks was wrong and we received no straws for ice lattes, straws for iced lattes are essential and it made the drink very unenjoyable

Costa was a clean and tidy when I went two lady’s was lovely in what my order was, after come of a night shift I just wanted a coffee and home. No messing with order in and out and home.
