We had the worst experience at Night and Day and felt extremely rationally profiled. We are 4 female international students who were visiting Manchester from London and were denied entry at the door due to our BRP’s (biometric residence permits) not being recognised as a “government issued ID” - which they are. When we questioned the security he said any club or bar in Manchester would only accept a passport or driving licence, which is untrue as we walked into another bar 5 minutes later and had no problem. Keeping in mind we’ve been living in London for over 3 years and have never had issues and were completely sober during this interaction it was extremely surprising and as we were treated extremely rudely. He also mentioned that any venue accepting a BRP should not be allowed. This interaction would never let me recommend Night and Day cafe to anyone and it was quite disappointing to be treated with so much disrespect during the interaction. Please educate your bouncers on what ID’s they should be accepting.

The service was slow had to go to the bar for drinks when we actually got are meals and asked for sauces we had nearly ate are meals would never recommend this pub to anyone

A decent pub with nice decor and service.

Went for a walk in delamere forest and stopped at the carriers inn 5 min away from the car park. Nice chilled atmosphere with a great beer garden overlooking the lake which was well maintained with an amazing view. The staff were so friendly and the food was perfect they even have a doggy menu

Came here for a family brunch on Bank Holiday Monday. We originally booked for 10 people, however a couple of extra came along and the staff accommodated us without any fuss or stress. Food was great and the coffee was really nice. First time i have been, but will definitely go back.
