Great old school proper pub in the busy centre of Manchester just down a quiet road off deansgate. Everywhere you look the walls and ceilings are covered in Manchester music, football and TV references, decent beers and music as well. Three floors make this a fantastic pub to visit when in the spinning fields area.

Got turned away today because I had my 11 year old son with me all we wanted to do was watch the Manchester derby. Disgusting that and the excuse given was they expected trouble. It's a United pub no Citeh fan would have got in so shove your silly excuses.

Another great night tonight, all staff are great considering how busy it was, shout out to Ali on the door, always happy to see you, professional, pleasant and an all round good guy.

A must place to visit for all MUFC supporters. Don't expect a meal though, crisps are the only food available.

Brilliant bar Manchester themed, with a Georgie Best slant. Music backdrop is fantastic. Wall art throughout the 2 floors is brilliant too. Definitely the best boozer in Manchester! A must see place. You won't be disappointed

Bouncer on the door demanding we donate money to the bouncers for entry. Was extremely aggressive about it too.

A shrine to George Best and United. A nice pub, but let down by an absolutely shocking pint of Guinness. One of the worst I've ever had and I've had thousands! Unfortunately the bar member just didn't know how to pull it.

Saturday nigh, brilliant night, excellent music, very honest and trustworthy bar staff, lost my phone upstairs, called down to old nags head next day, upstairs bar staff had handed my phone in, got phone back, can’t thank the staff enough, see you soon, highly recommended.

He estado en este club muchas, muchas veces a lo largo de los años. La música siempre es buena y siempre la pasas bien. Sin embargo, fui el 12 de octubre y el pub está decayendo, había literalmente un agujero en el techo y un agujero grande en eso. Donde estaban las ventanas, ahora están afiches. Las paredes están sucias, hay un ventilador de aire acondicionado en una pared que se invierte en suciedad. Hay telarañas con suciedad y polvo colgando de ellas. Faldas sucias. Realmente triste de ver. Hay seguridad en las puertas y personal ocupado, sin embargo, la gente está vapeando abiertamente por todo el pub. ¡Si cruzaras la pequeña carretera al sol naciente verías un bar limpio! Es triste, se ve realmente anticuado

Viejo pub lleno de recuerdos de la música de Manchester y jugadores del Man United. Especialmente George Best. Me encantó la chimenea con la pintura de George. Lleno de un buen ambiente, pero nos dieron una mesa. Un montón de personal en el bar, así que no hay problema en ser servido. Obviamente, están acostumbrados a estar ocupados y lo tratan muy bien. Incredibly expensive for a back street boozer, £5.30 for a pint! Note: this doesn't sound too expensive now but this was 2018. It's now about 12 grand for a half.

A narrow put tall pub just off Deansgate. When you first enter you think it's very small but there's 3 floor's which lead up to a small roof terrace, with a section of it covered, but I'm not sure how waterproof it'll be as we visited on a hot day do it was packed. The place is full of quirky character as the walls and ceiling's are adorned with pictures, some hand painted, of local Mancunians. The bar downstairs is also covered with artificial dusty flowers adding to the quirkiness but looks cluttered. Plenty of staff but I had to shout them to get served as they were busy chatting to each other.

Great pub. You don't often find a proper boozer in city centres anymore, too many chain pubs/bars. But The Nags is a proper boozer, great staff, great pub, great atmosphere.
