Fab place, will definitely be going back. We didn't eat this time just had drinks.

A shrine to George Best and United. A nice pub, but let down by an absolutely shocking pint of Guinness. One of the worst I've ever had and I've had thousands! Unfortunately the bar member just didn't know how to pull it.

Saturday nigh, brilliant night, excellent music, very honest and trustworthy bar staff, lost my phone upstairs, called down to old nags head next day, upstairs bar staff had handed my phone in, got phone back, can’t thank the staff enough, see you soon, highly recommended.

The BEST pub in Manchester... In my opinion.

Sticky glasses and lots of plastic flowers but the memorabilia and photos make it an exceptional reds bar!

Great fun,cheesy karaoke place. Good screens for the footie and nice hidden roof terrace for sunny days.

Old pub full of memorabilia of Manchester music and Man United players. Especially George Best. Loved the chimney with the painting of George. Full with a good atmosphere but we did get a table. Plenty of staff at the bar so no problem getting served. They are obviously used to being busy and deal with it very well. Really enjoyed our drinks

Incredibly expensive for a back street boozer, £5.30 for a pint! Note: this doesn't sound too expensive now but this was 2018. It's now about 12 grand for a half.

Great pub. You don't often find a proper boozer in city centres anymore, too many chain pubs/bars. But The Nags is a proper boozer, great staff, great pub, great atmosphere.

A narrow put tall pub just off Deansgate. When you first enter you think it's very small but there's 3 floor's which lead up to a small roof terrace, with a section of it covered, but I'm not sure how waterproof it'll be as we visited on a hot day do it was packed. The place is full of quirky character as the walls and ceiling's are adorned with pictures, some hand painted, of local Mancunians. The bar downstairs is also covered with artificial dusty flowers adding to the quirkiness but looks cluttered. Plenty of staff but I had to shout them to get served as they were busy chatting to each other.

One of the better pubs in Manchester when it comes to appearances. Gorgeous exterior and interior with lots of flowers, unique photos from back in the day, and plenty of George Best memorabilia. A proper Man United pub. A ton of draft options but also some great cask handles. Lots of space to find a table and enjoy a pint.

Great pub, it's a bit of a TARDIS as it definitely bigger on the inside. There are about three floors with different bars and a roof top terrace. It gets very busy.

Unfortunately this bar employs a really aggressive thugish threatening bouncer called Raz, he reversed his car in to my partner as we were walking past and then proceeded to get very aggressive and confrontational. The following day I visited and relayed to the bar owner and head of security. I was then invited to discuss it with Raz who repeated the confrontational aggressive attitude and refused to provide his SIA details. I have reported the matter to GMP OOHLiciencing and the SIA however security should de-escalate issues not create them.

Bouncing pub, good beers and same price as surrounding area, £5-6 a pint. Great roof terrace as well.

Great pub with space over 3 floors... the first floor having a dance floor and a DJ, while the second floor is a quieter terrace where you can chill out and talk without loud music in the background. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and inclusive.

Brilliant old school pub. We were out for the day and stumbled across it. Had a good few hours watching the rugby. We had a cracking seat. Place was heaving but there were plenty of staff at the bar. A really unique pub.

First time in The Old Nags Head. A good old fashioned pub but with a good vibe. On match days this place is packed out I believe. I can see why with a definite slant to the red side of Manchester. We had a good evening after a meal down the road at Gusto.

Ga je naar een wedstrijd van Man United kijken ga dan zeker naar dit United-cafe. Beneden een kroeg met prachtige foto's van Utd-spelers als George Best. In het weekend draait een dj op de eerste etage. Geen house of computerbeats maar veel hits uit de seventies tot en met de nineties.
