Rustik in Manchester

Welcoming little cafe with lovely staff and really nice food. Would recommend for breakfast!

Good atmosphere, well made cocktails. Recently had a mini change around with the furniture. 2 TVs for major events, can see at least one no matter where you are sat.

Just returned from a lovely lunch with my 6yo at Rustik. Such a friendly place, delicious food (brunch served til 4!) and as far as I know the only place on Burton Road with a children’s menu. I had a salt beef bagel which was really good. Currently there’s a deal where children eat for £2 when an adult buys a main so even better value. It’s an Irish bar but subtly so - the genial welcome and Irish memorabilia on the walls remind you it is.

Fabulous food and service.Great music too. Especially our Aussie waitress. Highly recommend the omelette and all the other food was fab too.x

The Aussie was a really good host

Disappointing experience when I came for breakfast this morning. Was served drinks after 20 minutes which were basically a cup of milk. Food took almost an hour to arrive and was bang average.

I love this place, you're always met with a smile. The food is amazing, their constantly changing the menu but by keeping the favourites everyones happy. I come in most days enjoy a beer and a catch up.

The best bar on Burton Road by miles! Service with a smile. Clean and tidy! The live music is always on point, and the whole vibe is just the best. Friendly, attentive and professional staff who are always happy to help. I would highly recommend this bar for a chilled brunch, catch up coffee or a great night out! Ticks all boxes for me! Rustik is our favourite brunch spot in Didsbury! The food is excellent and the team are so lovely and make you feel right at home. It’s also dog friendly which is a huge bonus!

Lovely place. Nice atmosphere and really well cooked and presented food. I had the rustik eggs, my son had a burrito and my husband had the Turkish breakfast. The host was great. Best breakfast in Didsbury.

What a pleasurable experience you're always greeted with a smile ( always important to me). I found the staff seem to enjoy being there, their happy to explain the menu and drinks on offer. Reasonable pricing for Burton Road. Great food and they show the rugby/other sports. I'll be a frequent visitor.

Very yummy French toast with bacon and a great place to chill and unwind

First and last time, got the french toast brunch, ran out of cream, which they told me to be fair. However, I made it 100% clear that I did not want bacon , and to swap it for veg sausages, the veg sausages came with bacon! The veg sausages tasted cheap, the french toast was not warm and not the best either. The server was pleasant, and friendly enough, but lacked attention to detail, the coffee was not bad, and if the food had been good this could have been much more highly rated. There are so many other great cafes in the area who get it right, so go there instead!

Visited for breakfast on a Weds morning - was quiet so we got seated fine. Had the most delicious avocado poached egg sourdough which came with feta and tomatoes. We also ordered a macaroni cheese hash brown which was huge, I could have ate just this! It was so tasty and I really recommend. The waitress was really friendly as well. Will definitely be back.

Great food in a nice modern cafe! The avocado on sourdough bread with bacon was incredible so couldn’t recommend it enough! Also very much appreciate that they take cash! Very friendly staff as well though a bit pricey!

Our server Cas was absolutely lovely, I came here for my birthday and she gave me and my friends such a warm welcome and did anything she could to make our time at RUSTIK as good as it could be. Will definitely come back soon!

Courtney is wonderful and always so friendly- we love the drinks and the atmosphere here and we are always made to feel so welcome. Favourite place on Burton road and the kids love it too. We really like the cocktails and drinks choice and the music as well.

I’ve never left a review for a place before in my life, but everything was so good that I felt the need to. The food was amazing (the flat iron steak sandwich was the best steak sandwich I have had in my life) the drinks were also great, the music choice was incredible too!! The staff were also very kind and welcoming.

Nice looking place but after being seated, we were ignored for 10 minutes and had to ask for menus. I had the most over-poached eggs I’ve ever had & my partner had a steak sandwich that was chewy. Wouldn’t recommend personally.

Lovely brunch Came here today for brunch with a friend - the cafe was so cosy and cute for Christmas. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. I got the rustik eggs and my friend got the smashed lime avo. Will definitely be visiting here again!

Well worth the walk from West Didsbury team stop, incredibly friendly and accommodating team serving high quality food and great drinks.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, the service is just brilliant. Even in peak times it runs like a well oiled machine, waiting time is kept to a minimum and the service is fantastic throughout. I’d highly recommend visiting Rustik! You could get a better burger and fries at McDonalds. Embarrassing they advertise poutine on the menu when it’s just a small plate of lukewarm fries, a tablespoon of tasteless gravy and a few cheese curds.

Overpriced, and the lady who I believe is the owner / manager is rude and unhelpful. Waited around 25 minutes for drinks, which were terrible. Bland, cold drinks and the hot chocolate was lukewarm milk. Everything we asked got a roll of the eyes and a big huff, it’s really not pleasant to be made to feel a pain when you are (over)paying for a meal. Requested a receipt when paying as we were in a group and it was quicker for one of us to pay and we split it on our own time, a bit roll of the eyes and huff, as if a receipt is a rare thing to come across when people are paying for something. Won’t be returning as she was also moaning about not having time for “fag breaks” and how busy it was. Not the environment or service you want to be in really.

The food in this place is absolutely lovely, but i’ve been a few times and the service is always poor. It was a Saturday Lunch time so busy as expected but one waitress moaning about how she hasn’t even had a “fag break” yet because of how busy it is, not really very professional / the attitude you want to see. The drinks take about 25 mins to come, lukewarm at best and all of them just tasted like warm milk with no coffee or chocolate in them. It also was a pain to ask for anything, one person asked for no salad / it on the side and the waitress was huffing about how she couldn’t put that through on the system and didn’t know how to. When we asked to pay, no paper bill was brought over, so we politely asked (to make things easier) if one of us paid could we get a receipt so we can work out how much it was each. This seemed logical as it would be quicker than us calculating at the table, but again was met with huffing “i dont know how im going to do that, i’ll have to go and see”, and to be honest, i don’t think asking for a receipt is difficult or surprising? Overall won’t be returning as it’s just absolute chaos and you’re made to feel like a pain for being a paying customer. Much nicer places around the same area which cope with the busy periods much more professionally. A let down.

Great staff, food came out fast, hot and super tasty! I think it was the owner but she was really lovely, made us feel really welcome and got water for our dog, will be back 😀

I absolutely love this place, I’ve lived nearby for years and it’s my go to spot, the owner is always attentive and present, very well run bar/cafe and I would recommend very much if you’re ever in Manchester 💗

Amazing food,I had the breakfast burrito and a Mac n cheese hash brown…WOW!!!! And Farah was a superstar

The food was so average and overpriced for what it was (£3 for some chorizo add-on is crazy) and the chai latte was undrinkable. The atmosphere was non-existant. This is the total opposite of what rustik used to be. Left very disappointed!

This is my fave place to go out in Didsbury, love the atmosphere and music. But also the food on hangover days is so good ✨🩵 highly recommend! Only issue is trying to get myself to go other places every now and then 😂

Just walked out of this place because the blondie waitress failed to seat us, then after we were seated attended 2 tables who came after us and also punters at the door then proceeded to have a conversation at the til. Meanwhile we were not even looked at. Real shame as the Irish breakfast is good when they can be bothered to serve you… Real let down today!
