Stayed at Kings Arms and breakfast was taken at Cartmel Coffee. Food and service excellent. Highly recommend this place. Lovely owner and her staff Kim and Rod

Had a great meal here recently. The service was spot on, with table service for drinks and food. There were 7 of us and we all had our food within minutes of one another. The food itself was what you want, though don’t often get these days. I had a pie that was brim full and really tasty. The range of drinks available and quality excellent, only wish this place was a little closer to home. Highly recommended.

Dropped off my wife and daughter for brunch with friends. When I picked them up, they didn't stop raving about the food all the way home (45mins)

Extremely unprofessional service by one of the personnel. Came in on Wednesday 21st of May, a 30-ish year old male wearing a cap, totally uninterested in his job took our orders. He almost threw the expresso on our table as if throwing it at some sort of vagabonds. Very bad experience. Never coming back.

Excellent food. Great gluten and dairy free optiond Really friendly staff. Lovely tea room and shop sold lots beatiful thing cards, cloths, Bags,sweat, Kitchen wear, biscuits,ice cream Great quality.

Had a nice meal here on a Monday evening. Sat outside to make the most of the sun. Thought it was a little expensive but everything was tasty

Love the pub and staff a friendly, last night I had the chicken tikka meal there was lots of sauce which was tasty, but only 5 small pieces of chicken. My sister in law had the same, but 6 pieces. I did tell the waitress when she asked if everything was OK. Whether she reported it to the chef??

Buena comida, pero las propinas están incluidas y no tienes opción en esto. He estado aquí un par de veces, pero hoy pagué con tarjeta y la factura incluía una propina. Quiero decir que normalmente es discrecional, pero no aquí. No como si estuvieras en el centro de la ciudad y deberías tener la opción de dar propina. Pequeño lugar y no exactamente en auge con el servicio. Dijeron que la comida era de calidad y el ambiente también es bueno.

Actually a brunch place! Open all days on Sunday for brunch. Great menu and nice coffee.

Unbelievably good food, a little pricey but happy to pay a little more to get such good quality. Great friendly service & lovely surroundings.

Went today for coffee and maybe a cake for a treat, I shouldn't as I'm diabetic, but needed a treat! The cake was an excellent surprise, really, really nice and an excellent coffee to go with it - Illy, our favourite. Lovely friendly and helpful staff made us welcome, and were very chatty and pleasant. Excellent little cafe, highly recommended.

Welcoming staff, Amazing food (especially the poached eggs!!!) Peaceful atmosphere and my husband enjoyed the 80s music which was playing in the background.

A great selection of beer, friendly staff and dog-friendly too.
