Service is fab, would recommend booking a table as it is very busy. Portions are slightly small compared to the prices. Good variety on the menu.

Great food, great staff. Dog friendly. We were a party of 5 adults, 1 infant and a large dog, breakfasting after Parkrun. From the moment we arrived the staff really looked after us. The food and coffees were delicious. The place was lovely with indoor seating and covered outdoor areas. We will definitely be returning.

Not been here for years, must say it's back to being superb again. Had the halloumi kebab. Which was delicious and plenty of halloumi. Service is great and such a nice place to hang out in the sunshine.

I had the halloumi skewer & it was lovely. I good size too, I was stuffed! They have an amazing menu to choose from too! And they are dog friendly which is always a bonus 🐾

Went today there with our friends we had such a good time there despite of a very loudly live on music. The band Greek guys who had the performance for public didn't pay much attention to those who come in have a chat but by the music wasn't impossible to carry on any conversation. The food and and spirit are an unique one,prices are too. All in all having had a free time pop up there drag into some friends. A very satisfied customer.

Evening meal..chicken gyros dry, chicken souvlaki dry.. told server, he apologised and said he would pass onto kitchen.. it was a birthday meal.. no offer was made to make our experience worthwhile... won't visit again in evening... a real shame, but glad there's other places in chorlton worth a visit!

Adorable cafe bar with fantastic atmosphere and food Came here for brunch a few times and always had a fantastic experience. Coffee is great and I also love their smoothies. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had the sausage and potato hash which was delicious, food is fresh and home cooked. Also tried a few of their desserts, defo recommend the lemon tart!

I went today to Chorlton , just randomly to Northstar , food was amazing , staff was very friendly and listening carefully. Everything was arranged , food was hot and delicious. And I was surprised food was not expensive and enough potion for meal. Coffee was amazing. I like the restaurant how it was decorate and arranged , having inside and outside both facilities. I really like it .

An absolute gem of a Greek cafe. Had an amazing evening meal here today. Food was absolutely delicious, with good portions and very reasonable prices. The cakes are also excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and interior looks lovely. I could not recommend this highly enough and love the fact it was open on Saturday evening too. Will definitely return very soon.

Food excellent. We've been many times and every time we have been pleased. Service is always excellent and today, particularly, the Muslim lady with the headscarf was particularly attentive and chatty. It was very busy but she still found time to come over and see that everything was alright. All the waiters and waitresses are very friendly.

Came here 2 times now! First time I came the food was good but ultimately my waitress Estella was the star of my experience, she was super helpful and I couldn’t have asked for anything more from her! Definitely deserves a pay rise!! Second time the food was good, but didn’t really get the same experience as the last, server barely spoke to me or my family and didn’t really care when we had an issue.

Service was friendly, and food and drinks arrived promptly. Food was very average. Paid 10 quid for a small portion of scrambled eggs, feta, and one sausage. Very bland, average, and tiny portion.

Wonderful Greek evening out with family of all ages (17 of us in total, cousins and aunts). Food was absolutely delicious, service was outstanding, the atmosphere and music from The Greek Folks Band was amazing. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Lovely British/Greek place with great atmosphere inside and outside. Great choice of food, particularly for breakfast/brunch. We had the Spartan Eggs and the Full English with the addition of Black Pudding and you get to choose how you want your eggs which is fantastic (I had poached but you can have fried or scrambled)! We very much enjoyed it all, except the bacon as it was undercooked with chewy fat. We skipped the fresh orange juice as it was about £5 which seems expensive and had tea. We'll be back!

Greek run cafe in Chorlton. We had the coffee-and-cake of the day deal. There were several cakes to choose from, we had the banana loaf, which was delicious and moist. It was also huge! Very nice atmosphere too.

Wondered in here after a long train from Lancaster. First thoughts were I didn’t realise the venue was so stunning. Ordered a Baklava and a flat white to start.. fresh cinnamon with pastry obviously made that morning and high quality honey. Then finished off with pork gyros.. it was all really lovely and portion sizes were perfect. The guy on the till was exceptional at his job, always smiling, friendly to everyone who walked through the door, offering suggestions when asked, nice with kids. All in all.. lovely meal, Chorlton’s brunch spots are better than towns for sure!

This is a bit of a hidden gem right next to the Chorlton tram stop. The food is great, the atmosphere is always nice and overall a great place to hang out for some coffee during those sunny days

We arranged for North Star Deli to do the catering for a family party on Easter Sunday. The process from start to finish was excellent. Konstantinos was very helpful and offered great advice on what we might need (or might not need) to cater for the quests. The food was ready and packed perfectly to allow easy transportation from the deli to our home. Finally, the food itself was delicious and of the same quality we have come to expect from eating in. Thank you Konstantinos and everyone in the team - highly recommended!

Lovely people food n drink delicious absolutely love this place

Today as a 2 weekly event went for lunch at North Star, had bacon cheese sausage in a wrap. When I cut it and put food in my mouth the heat was tremendously hot and burnt the inside of my mouth. My upper palate was burning. I went back and. Asked if they microwaved the food no she put it in a pan. I said I could not eat and asked for my money back. She said she would speak to the Manager. As I was leaving I went to see the Manager. He said we cook our food hot, I said yes, ok of course but not Hot so it burns my palate he was shouting I told him please stop shouting I always come in here we leave tips all the time he still kept it up. I just had to leave. Honest money is just not worth arguing over, I am going to the Dr now have a blister in my mouth.

Always amazing food and service

Took my wife here for breakfast, and we were lucky to get in. It's always a good sign when a place is full of reserved tables and happy customers. The food was great, the coffee was even better, and my wife said it's one of the best vegan breakfasts she has had in years. We also got a table with the Deli cat Arti snoozing on the bench seat. My wife didn't want to disturb him by moving him, so they brought an extra chair so she could sit next to him and join him for our breakfast. Had a great time and look forward to going back again soon.

I went in for brunch and had to wait in a long queue to order at the till. I had the Greek sausage hash and it wasn’t very good. The service wasn’t great either, I got seated on a table that still had plates on it and then wasn’t cleaned after clearing the plates. So I had to eat my food with crumbs on the table from the previous customers. The only good thing about this place is the atmosphere outside.

Five stars all the way. The only 'problem' is picking cake from the vast and delicious choice.

Very friendly helpful staff. We booked a table for lunch and the food was great - lots of Greek influence - Greek salad, souvlaki, gyros etc but there are also toasted sandwiches, cakes etc. All the food looked very freshly prepared , was excellent quality and came in generous portions. My friends had cake which again was super quality and I had a very good cappuccino. Would highly recommend this place.

Not been in here for ages—think I stopped coming because I could never get a seat... but they've changed things round a lot and now there is tons of space! Excellent covered outdoor area, too, it's great. The food and drinks were lovely and the staff are really friendly, so ir was an all round great experience. What a difference a new owner makes! It's been a few years now to be fair but it's night and day better than the previous owner. Quick, plenty of space ( though it's often busy - best to book ahead) and great customer service. Open Friday and Saturday late too with plenty of seating inside and out. It's covered outside so no weather problems and there are tables with heaters too. The occasional smoker is the only negative.

Excellent food and great service

North Star Deli is clearly a little Greek oasis in C-c-H. Judging by the customers speaking Greek, it’s a hit with the diaspora too. We wandered in around lunchtime and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was busy and full of the sounds of cooking. The menu is quite long but we went for Greek / Greek inspired dishes and were not disappointed. Chicken Souvlaki with flat bread, grilled Hallomi with chilli jam and Melitzanosalata (grilled aubergine/ think Babganoush). Delicious. They are hosting a Greek music night with dinner - we’ll be there.

Only popped in for a drink on a walk. But the service was excellent and the other customers seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere.

Can't believe I've been walking past the place for years. So glad we walked in. Food was on point, selection of fresh cakes we had apple cake soo soft and carrot cake. Definitely going to be my go tooo from now on.

Food cost about £40 just for it to take an hour to arrive despite being 10 minutes away from where i live. Then i got food poisoning to add the icing to the cake. I will never be going here again, ive just been throwing my guts up for the past 24 hrs about 6-12 hrs after I ate their food. Not to mention the smoothie smelled off and the food wasnt even worth the food poisoning it was unseasoned, luke warm, soggy and squished. If i could give them 0 stars i would.

The all-day full English breakfast is excellent, and the vegetarian version is just as good. Space inside is limited but there is plenty of covered seating with individual overhead electric heaters and, on very cold days, you can borrow a rug from the pile inside the door. Prices are reasonable.

Good food, service a little slow, but it was busy. Also extremely noisy due to the music, which pretty much drowned out some conversation.

Very good provision for gluten free. Pleasant environment and good service. I had an orange and almond cake which was obviously freshly made . Such a treat compared to the dry commercial little packet brownies that are often the only offering for gluten free customers. Definitely a place to visit again

I go here every month with my family! Food is great and so are the staff.

Greek food is historically poorly represented in the UK, and this is often because great Greek food is, in part, due to the amazing local produce in the Mediterranean. Having married into a Greek family, I've been spoiled with the delicious cuisine over the years and, as a result, have become quite picky when we go out and have Greek food here. Fear not though, this is the real deal. Hidden discretely in one of the less travelled parts of hipster Chorlton the food is well worth making the effort for. Proof really being in the pudding that the wife has been so smitten with the orange cake that she won't try anything else when we come, it having become her special treat when we venture to Manchester to see my relatives. The other food is of equal high quality, and even the music is authentic (not a hint of a stereotypical Sirtaki), although a little Sakis wouldn't go amiss! Prices are pretty good too, especially in the current climate where nothing is cheap anymore. However, judging by how busy it was today, many other people have recognised that this place is worth it!

This place looks like it has a good vibe to enjoy brunch so my review is based purely on the sub par mocha I received. I'd have given 2 stars as the mocha itself is below average- it wasn't even nice but what really gets my goat is that this is the most expensive mocha I've had in Manchester... £4.45 for it...yes £4.45. Cocoa tree up the road is less and you get a free chocolate with it as well as real chocolate used. This is just chocolate powder. I feel like I've been robbed. Would love to hear how this is justified by the cafe itself. Ridiculous.

Service was great. Atmosphere was nice and quiet, no music blaring. We each got different cake. Mine apple cake was lovely and moist however the chocolate orange my friend had,( which I tried) was really very dry, I think it was stale.
