Kirkharle church, St. Wilfrids, was where Capability Brown was Baptised. Once parked in the free car park adjacent to the courtyard, it is a short walk. Lovely location with period buildings once the outbuildings to a grand Country house. There are craft shops there but The Coffee House was why I visited. Clean, bright and looking onto a pretty garden area. An excellent all day breakfast menu was on offer along with a good range of other food. I had a coffee and a cheese and bacon scone. It was rather delicious as the crispy bacon was cooked fresh and put inside the cheese scone. The scone itself was one of the best I have ever had, moist and light and very cheesy. I will be back. Lovely friendly ladies and spotlessly clean.

Possibly the best coffee in Newcastle and half the price of everywhere else! An absolute gem.

We booked a table for 9am atrived at 9am, we had a coffee then waited 45 mins for food, when it arrived it was very nice, however I would of liked to order another drink for go with my breakfast....after we ate it we decided to ask for a half portion for pancakes to share and a smoothie and were politely told we had to return our table at 10am. Pricey £46 2 x breakfast & 2 x coffee.

Went in for Sunday dinner checked to make sure they had other options for my friend and they only did Sunday dinner also the wait time was 55 minutes even though we booked in. Portion was small and the only warm thing on the plate was mash because it was probably microwaved anyways. Carrots were ridiculously hard to cut though and chew. We got dessert and the ice cream was half melted and the Portion was also small. We ordered coke abd got Pepsi I get it if you don't have coke but they could have said instead of substituting it and also the chairs were dirty and the tables were too close together and sticking.

Great Sandwiches, worth waiting for during busy periods

Just called in for breakfast before our drive home to Derbyshire. Absolutely stunning food. Hash skillet - amazing Eggs Benedict - fantastic Full English - perfection All lovely and freshly cooked. Lovely staff Highly recommend

Este lugar es maravilloso para tomar un café - con las niñas, brunch con los padres, o para recoger una bebida caliente en el camino a la dene. El personal es siempre amable y hay una buena variedad de comida y bebidas disponibles, incluyendo una selección de panadería. El ambiente vibrante lo convierte en un lugar encantador y lindo, y normalmente hay un perro lindo o dos alrededor para alborotar. Traigo a todos mis amigos y familiares que vienen de visita aquí. Fabuloso para visitas de día soleado y lluvioso por igual.

You can't go wrong with batch. Loads of choice of tasty pastries and the coffee is amazing. The staff are super friendly and always welcoming.

Just don't know, the car park is so oppressive I was terrified to park up incase I was charged a mortgage for parking so I just fkd off and found somewhere else to go. Scary place, I'm sure you guys are nice but I'm terrified to get closer ........ I'll update completely when I pop in thanks guys. 👍

Absolutely horrific experience. We had to wait an hour for a cheesy chip wrap, and when asked after 45 minutes where our food was we were told it was in the oven? Confused? We weren’t offered anything as compensation, absolutely will never be coming back here

Tenía strudel de manzana con crema para verter. Excepto que era como el agua. Lo probé y sabía a leche. Entonces, o estaba aguado o solo leche. La camarera fue inútil, así que no se molestó. Ahora hambriento, así que iré a otro lado. He estado viniendo aquí durante años, pero lo pensaré dos veces ahora.

Visited a couple of times during a weeks stay in Jesmond. The beer was top notch and the bar staff very friendly. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

Fui recibido por el amable personal del café y terminé sentado en una silla muy cómoda junto a la ventana de la bahía mirando pasar el mundo. El café estaba muy bueno y se sirvió en una taza grande. Las patatas fritas y el chocolate son sorprendentemente baratos, al igual que otros aperitivos. Prefiero venir aquí que pagar más en el Metro para llevar en una taza de plástico.
