Kirkharle church, St. Wilfrids, was where Capability Brown was Baptised. Once parked in the free car park adjacent to the courtyard, it is a short walk. Lovely location with period buildings once the outbuildings to a grand Country house. There are craft shops there but The Coffee House was why I visited. Clean, bright and looking onto a pretty garden area. An excellent all day breakfast menu was on offer along with a good range of other food. I had a coffee and a cheese and bacon scone. It was rather delicious as the crispy bacon was cooked fresh and put inside the cheese scone. The scone itself was one of the best I have ever had, moist and light and very cheesy. I will be back. Lovely friendly ladies and spotlessly clean.

We booked a table for 9am atrived at 9am, we had a coffee then waited 45 mins for food, when it arrived it was very nice, however I would of liked to order another drink for go with my breakfast....after we ate it we decided to ask for a half portion for pancakes to share and a smoothie and were politely told we had to return our table at 10am. Pricey £46 2 x breakfast & 2 x coffee.

Canny little bar popular with local students, friendly staff

The Denes Deli makes my favourite sandwich of all time – Chicken, Banana & Mango Chutney! The combination is absolutely delicious, and the quality is always top-notch. The staff are friendly, and the service is great. A fantastic local deli that I highly recommend!

You can't go wrong with batch. Loads of choice of tasty pastries and the coffee is amazing. The staff are super friendly and always welcoming.

Reservamos el Drs Lair para un evento corporativo, y fue fantástico! El espacio tenía un gran ambiente, y la configuración de la tecnología era perfecta: pantalla grande para presentaciones, micrófonos de calidad y todo funcionaba sin problemas. El paquete de comida y bebidas era excelente, con preciosas copas de burbujas preparadas para nuestra llegada y pizza para terminar la noche. Callum era increíblemente servicial, asegurando que todo estaba listo para salir y que la noche transcurría sin problemas. Sin duda volveremos para futuros eventos!

Este Café Todo el Día es una visita obligada si usted está visitando Jesmond o paseando por Jesmond Dene Park. La cafetería está muy limpia y bien decorada. El personal muy ploite. El menú tiene mucho para elegir. Toda la comida se veía increíble ya que se servía a los clientes. También puedes pedir comida para llevar. Tuvimos los huevos benedict que era fabuloso y un café de buena calidad. Vale la pena visitarlo. La próxima vez que vuelva a Newcastle me detendré y probaré allí la sopa casera.

Just don't know, the car park is so oppressive I was terrified to park up incase I was charged a mortgage for parking so I just fkd off and found somewhere else to go. Scary place, I'm sure you guys are nice but I'm terrified to get closer ........ I'll update completely when I pop in thanks guys. 👍

Absolutely horrific experience. We had to wait an hour for a cheesy chip wrap, and when asked after 45 minutes where our food was we were told it was in the oven? Confused? We weren’t offered anything as compensation, absolutely will never be coming back here

Tenía strudel de manzana con crema para verter. Excepto que era como el agua. Lo probé y sabía a leche. Entonces, o estaba aguado o solo leche. La camarera fue inútil, así que no se molestó. Ahora hambriento, así que iré a otro lado. He estado viniendo aquí durante años, pero lo pensaré dos veces ahora.

Visited a couple of times during a weeks stay in Jesmond. The beer was top notch and the bar staff very friendly. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

Fui recibido por el amable personal del café y terminé sentado en una silla muy cómoda junto a la ventana de la bahía mirando pasar el mundo. El café estaba muy bueno y se sirvió en una taza grande. Las patatas fritas y el chocolate son sorprendentemente baratos, al igual que otros aperitivos. Prefiero venir aquí que pagar más en el Metro para llevar en una taza de plástico.
