The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Darlington North East

Very very poor attitude from staff. I was waiting to be served and continuously ignored- after 5 mins of waiting, I left. Service requires improvement.

Class pub, lovely dinners and lovely staff

We were in a party of 32 people at £50 per head definitely not value for money. 1 glass of proseco or a small bottle of morreti on arrival. 1 x expresso cup of valute each. We were on a table of 6 & one person didn't get their,s with everyone else at time of service - (needed to be chased up). 2 cups of tea or coffee 4 finger sandwiches each - they didn't have enough for everyone so had to make some more up - So everyone had to wait for 10 minutes - baring in mind everything was pre-ordered in advance. 4 small cakes & 2 small scones each with butter & strawberry jam - no clotted cream - (needed chasing up) My wife didn't like the cakes so had specially ordered some posh biscuits- they didn't come to the table at service & wouldn't have unless guess what -they were chased up. Eventually they arrived after everyone else had finished. My wife & her friend fancied a glass of white wine each so I went to the bar each 175ml glass was an additional £17 each. Altogether the day wasn't value for money & the service was far from satisfactory. Go somewhere else for you afternoon tea,s !!!!

Went in for a slice of cake to take away.£3.70 - no prices on anything! The assistant packed it up and I took it away. Opened 30 mins later to eat. It was dry and totally tasteless. First time I have tried this cafe and it will be the last!!

Great music Great staff Great drinks Fabby location for nipping away from high street made better with the refurb of the yard.

Absolute cracking pub, the view of the river out the back is lovely, can imagine it being a good sun trap! Only thing I wish it done was some pub grub food to accompany the beverages, doesn’t have to be fine dining but just some sort of food menu.

Excellent bacon & tomato sandwich - very good coffee: tremendous value & friendly service: a welcome refuge after arriving very early for a train !

Fab bar for big sporting events let down by slow bar service

Now open Tuesday's to Friday's at 5pm and weekends

It run was quite run down inside and the staff were not friendly not very ideal when you are having a drink out poor. Won't be back.

Fantastic find for a family meal. Everything was perfect and the price very reasonable. The staff clearly care about their customers. Great experience had by all.

Just had my wedding reception here Could not if ask for better food was brilliant all so fresh and the staff were brilliant a big thank you to all the staff how help us Big thank to Michelle and Sue's for all the help the night befor for help to set. Up and on the day go around making sure everything was right We had the perfect day so again thank you xx

Tasty menu, no complaints. I had the steak the first night and the feathered beef the following evening. The poached pear was fabulous!

Thought we would give it a try helping out local businesses during these times ordered two bacon/egg sandwiches and two latte coffees Coffee was really nice but the bacon sandwich wasn't worth the money it's the only time I have ever had a bacon sandwich with only one piece of bacon in it.... it's not as if the piece of bacon was large it wasn't Service was polite and friendly
