The management has changed. Whilst they were helpful, the food has taken a massive dive - I can only describe as "goopy" - watery, full of nuts, a bit bland. A shame as this was our regular for about 2/3 years now and I doubt we'd ever order again, a shame really.

Truly appalling service. The driver came to outside my flat, refused to come to my door, then turned around and drove off. When I called the restaurant, they claimed the food had being delivered. Shameful customer service.

Good cheap Chinese food, does justice when under the influence

The food was good, but we ordered over £20 and didn't get our free prawn crackers and fortune cookies as advertised. 🙁

absolutely disgusting service!! do not ever order from here! we ordered our food at 8 pm,saying it will be with us at 9.05. at the time of writing this review(22.35) we still havent got our food. phoned the resutaurant back and forth,no explanation given,just saying that we will get a full refund. we havent ordered anything else,thinking that we will get it eventually(according to the restaurant worker "5 more minutes and the food will be with you"-about 3 times). absolutely appalled! and extremely rude staff! definitely staying away from them! recommenx you do the same if you want to eat a dinner and not go sleep hungry!

It was really bad. It used to be really good service and really good food. It things we're missing from our order and items we're not what we ordered. Trying to resolve it was a lot of hassle. Will not be ordering from here anymore. It's a shame.

The food was alright, but a bit salty for my taste. Ordered two drinks, only received one. Was told the second drink would be delivered, it never arrived.

duck was already shredded unlike most chinese places, good portion sizes and tasty

spare ribs were tough, shredded chicken was sprinkled with sugar chop suey was tasteless the rest of the order was good

Excellent food and great value for money

Food was due to arrive at 8:05pm, instead arrived at 7.30pm which was amazing! The majority of the food was delicious but sadly the cucumber slices for the duck pancakes were soggy and had left a disgusting, thick, creamy water in the bottom of the tub which made the spring onions go off too. This went in the bin!!!

Overall OK but the followings they have done better before. Sweet n sour ribs, the sauce was thin and lack body content, the ribs on the bland side. This was disappointing. 4/10 Chicken wings in honey sauce. The batter lost its crispiness. 6/10 Thai penang chicken, 6/10. Lack aroma more on gravy side. Singapore vermicelli, 9/10 Overall OK but have given 5 stars in the past.

The food was great but I have noticed that the portion has become smaller and smaller overtime.

Food was lovely, duck was tasty, ok amount of chicken in the chicken fried rice (could do with a bit more) but took almost an hour and a half to deliver which was way too long.

Lovely beef with broccolli. Sweet and sour prawns. Delicious. Good quality. Never let me down. Delivered quickly.

Wouldn't order from there again. All of the prawns used weren't peeled in the special fried rice. The egg fried rice was literally rice, egg and peas - could've at least added some soy sauce. Anyway, overall was not impressed guys

Have been using Delicious Express for over 5 years now and have received excellent food (except once, which was replaced and redelivered very quickly with no problems). I haven't got anything bad to say, they have always delivered good, hot food.

Delivery arrived 35 minutes early, when I was busy. The guy left before the time he was meant to deliver (8:45) and so I had to call the restaurant to get them to deliver again. When food arrived it was cold and I was charged extra money for the delivery because they arrived before I could collect it.

The chicken chow mein was absoloutly vile had a strange taste to it couldn't actually eat it. And the sweet and sour sauce was watery so the flavour wasn't great with the chicken. Very disappointed as prices were reasonable but the food was less than acceptable. Not even one star is appropriate. Waste of money.

Food was good, the vegetables seemed reasonably fresh and were well cooked. The portion sizes were massive too. Definitely worth ordering from.

Food arrived approx 20 minutes after ordering. Ordinarily this would be amazing but the fact me and my partner ended up with severe stomach issues afterwards shows it probably was not fresh.

Didn't deliver to the door despite clear instructions on here and over the phone, had to come out of our flat into the street to find the driver. However, food was delicious and well worth the money, and it arrived well ahead of time. Thanks

Excellent tasting hot food delivered to my door with a smile. I am very sure the chicken dish I ordered but received was incorrect but it was great none the less.

Just ordered from here,they got my order wrong,I was missing a tub of house speacial fried rice, so I gave them a call and I told them what I was missing and the lady on the phone was rude told me that I was wrong and that I had the item even though I was telling her what was in front of me and hadn't received what I wanted I find this shocking and very unprofessional, would definitely not recommend as service is so poor!!!

Our food was very tasty, the salt and pepper squid was very impressive. Food got delivered quickly, free prawn crackers and the fortune cookies were a nice touch. Will definitely recommend.

Categorically THE poorest Chinese meal I have EVER had. Pad Thai? Pink, tasteless and insipid noodles with a handful of whole peanuts in a corner. Nothing, repeat, nothing like anything I have ever experienced. The ready meals at your supermarket are a gazillion times better. Really, shame on this restaurant. Avoid like the plague. Reviews MUST be made up. I wouldn't feed this excrement to the foxes. If I did they would not bother us again. Seriously, absolute garbage.

Driver asked me not to order again from there because 2.6 miles was a lot for him to drive I wasn't happy with the comment

Food was not badly cooked or anything like that but I found the portions small and the over all experience disappointing, particularly given the price. I probably will try one of the other Chinese places, next time.

I am so upset My first 2 orders with them were great, but my 3rd. I ordered chicken crispy noodles and instead got this brown mystery meat, pork I think.... Which my family cannot eat, so it's in the trash. So upset

It was very good. Excellent Chinese meal. Aromatic duck - generous portion and good taste. Roast pork was better than I have had previously. The meat was soft and tender. Will come back again.

I DID NOT EXPECT MUCH, HOWEVER ON RECEIVING THE FOOD THE CRISPY NOODLE WITH CHICKEN WAS DIVINE, THE WONTON SOUP WAS FLAVORFUL, AND THE FRIED CHILI BEEF WAS SWEET AND HEARTY. I'M FROM AMERICA AND HAVE HATED CHINESE FOOD IN THE UK, BUT THIS WAS SOME IF THE BEST I HAD IN THIS AREA!

I've ordered from here more than once, however the most recent order arrived 10 minutes later than expected and the food was warm, not hot enough to enjoy.

Nailed it, I'll keep coming back.

No taste , barely any sauce on the black bean chicken. Will not be ordering again.
