First visit and won’t be the last, 5 different meals, all good quality food, served attractively. Look forward to next visit.

This morning I decided to try the coffee shop at the top of Waterstones. I approached the service counter in an attempt to purchase coffee and food. Two the two employees were working and talking about there social life. I stood there awkwardly for almost half a minute. They made no attempt to communicate or make eye contact. This is incredibly rude behaviour and unprofessional. I do not suffer this kind of unprofessional behaviour from my employees, and decided to not suffer it from them, so I walked away to find an other place to have my breakfast. If I had seen this level of disrespect from my employees, I would show them where the door is.

Always a lovely breakfast or brunch. The cafe is being run by two amazing ladies who will make sure they get every detail of your order right and will provide you with a bright smile all the way through. It's been my place of choice for brunch or a quick breakfast on the go for about 3 years now, the prices are modest, portions big, the service is priceless and the food quality is excellent. I have nothing bad to say about it, honestly. Give them a smile and they'll return it twice. Keep it up, girls!

Lovely little cafe. Very reasonably priced. The gentleman that served us was very quick and helpful. There is changing facilities for children, highchairs, a really cute motorbike rocking horse and a standard rocking horse so a few things to keep little ones busy whilst you finish your meal. They also have decaf tea, perfect for a breastfeeding mama. Oh yeah and they offer a mammoth breakfast, 4 bacon, 4 sausage, 4 eggs, 4 black pudding, fried bread, toast, beans, tomatoes etc for under a tenner. I didn't order it but I imagine it would be incredible and a great hangover cure. Please leave me a helpful vote if you found this review useful.

Really disappointed this evening after being a loyal customer for at least 2 years, celebrating anniversary’s & birthdays amongst other family meals. My family ate in restaurant in March, the party consisted of 4 adults & 1 child. Service & food really good, apart from my meal had been overlooked. After mentioning this to 2 serving staff, I was eventually served. Food was lovely, but I had to eat after everyone had finished theirs. (Not good when you are really hungry!) 2 staff admitted my order had been forgotten. I would have expected something to compensate. Unfortunately my son settled the bill of over £180 without disputing. I mentioned this on our next visit to the lovely Kayleigh who said she would mention it to her manager. We have been in this evening & I produced original receipt & she said she would speak to manager as she was fully aware of my complaint. However I was confronted by someone who serves in bar saying we couldn’t get a refund ( which I’d never asked for anyway.) Absolutely awful manner, very abrupt & pushy. No customer service skills , we will not give our custom to Saltfish while that person is behind the bar. Such a shame as we enjoyed eating there, especially the oysters.

Love the drinks, the place is very quirky and lovely. Music was great too.

I have come here regularly for a long time- the last two times the food has disappointed. Today I had mushroom stroganoff and my friend had the chicken stroganoff. Mine was a different colour, tasted different and it had a thick layer of oil on the top- the staff disappeared and so I just picked out the mushrooms. When the staff appeared I called her over to show her the sauce as it was inedible and I had left most of my meal. She took it away and returned to say my friends was different because it had less paprika in and more cream. I said and that makes it ok- because? - she said I have given your comments to the cook and mushrooms make it oily- . There was no apology or any attempt to rectify it. No customer service- really disappointed with a place I used to love 😕

Google food at a reasonable price

Absolute cracking pub, the view of the river out the back is lovely, can imagine it being a good sun trap! Only thing I wish it done was some pub grub food to accompany the beverages, doesn’t have to be fine dining but just some sort of food menu.

We held my 30th Birthday meal at the Juniper Tree a few weeks ago and it was fabulous from start to finish - food was delicious, fantastic cocktails and the team were so friendly! They let us decorate the area with photos and balloons - nothing was too much trouble and I had the best time! Thank you!

This is a tough one. If I could give a 3.5 I would. Staff are great people and don't tolerate trouble, prices are nothing special for this sort of pub. The issue is, after a certain time you get some absoloute helmets in, seen a couple scraps in this one. But all in all, good choons, standard pricing, open late. If you don't mind a little bit of a dodgy pub, it's an okay place to end the night.

Free motorhome Park up fir the night prompted us to stop by. Lovely warm welcome, good prices and a selection of ales made a great evening. Pet friendly so could take Dougie our cat in with us. Have been back multiple times. Our favourite park up in the area. ❤️
