Really good coffee and an excellent carrot cake. Special mention to the young server who went out of her way to help me when I spilt my coffee everywhere !!!!!

There was obviously a misunderstanding about what I had ordered. It took a while as my friend had received her breakfast some time before. I became aware of staff asking other tables if they had ordered food, holding lots of plates. I explained what I thought I had ordered but was met with attitude and aggression by an oriental waitress. She obviously needs customer care training. I won't be back to be spoken to like that again. Disgusting service.

Called in on a sunny Friday evening as there were available seats. Not a great choice of beers but the location made up for that. Not sure why they stopped serving at 7pm on such a lovely evening.

Call here when arrive in Darlington early. Always warm welcome from all staff. Order & pay at counter but order brought to table. Breakfast special good value & very tasty. Plus loyalty card.

Arrived at 8-15am to a really nice warm welcome which is the normal for here. Order taken & served at the table. Coffee very hot with warm milk. Pleasant surroundings.

Sat outside under canopy where there have fitted heaters for the chilled day's. Staff always very friendly chatty & work very hard. Drinks always hot & served swiftly.

At present a great place for coffee as outside seating. Inside has been spaced out also. Good tea & coffee pleasant staff.

Another good visit to 16. Always a warm welcome. Covid measures still in place tables all sanitizer as I arrived just after opening. Order at counter served at table. A very hot delicious coffee reasonable priced.

Not impressed at all, food very poor and tasteless. Even the teabags were rubbish quality. Cracked tea pot as well.

First visit since things started to open up. 29/5/2021. Great outside seating area. Queuing system in place well signed had short wait Saturday morning at 9-30am very busy shows it popularity. Order taken drinks arrived quickly with card machine for payment so you don't leave your seat. It was very busy staff trying to cope with new restrictions very well. Each table,chairs & menus sanitized before anyone else was allowed to be seated.

No dogs welcome outside in the courtyard ... really ? Even when they had no customers. Go to cafe Nero a few doors up for a better coffee. Dogs allowed Inside :)

Had coffee here. The staff were very friendly and explained that we could could have a refill of coffee for half price. We took advantage of this offer. My friend went to the toilet, and suddenly an alarm sounded and the shutters came down. We were all ushered outside. I mentioned that my friend had not returned from the toilet and a waiter said he would have to take a different route to the outside. We got outside and I waited a couple of minutes but he had not appeared, I spoke to the waitress, who asked me to describe him. She then entered the building through the Dolphin Centre door. My friend must have passed her at the door. , as he joined me. Shortly afterwards she returned to me and saw my friend had met me. I was amazed that she would risk going back into the building to try to locate my friend and I thanked her profusely. What a selfless act as no-one knew the reason for the alarm sounding. Full customer satisfaction marks to her. Will definitely visit this cafe again.

Was in the Dolphin Centre for a business meeting & in need of refreshment, staff were friendly & coffee was good, take away or sit in, good choice of snacks & light bites too.
