The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in London

This place is totally let down by the lack of hygiene and poor quality of food. Great shame because it has quirky ambiance and is in superb location. Went there with my husband for tea and something to eat at lunchtime. Teapot had a cosy with bits of old food stuck to it. Our cups were chipped and had brown tea deposit at the bottom. My bagel came with the salad that looked a week old with rotting bits of lettuce and quite inedible slices of cucumber. It was served on a badly washed plate with bits of old food stuck to it. Cutlery was wet. I couldn’t stop wondering why they bother with laundered cloth napkins rather than ordinary paper ones. My husband’s orange gateau was dry and cloyingly sweet. Overall it was an unpleasant culinary experience for us. I still shudder thinking about it.

I booked this restaurant for my family of 10. I received an email that confirmed my booking between the hours of 5-6pm. I called the day before to confirm my booking as I havent heard good things about this restaurant anyway and thought ill give it try for myself. I questioned the time as I've never booked a restaurant that did not give me a precise time to show up. They answered- all was confirmed and booked and said I can turn up between that hour- fine. Why is it when I turn up with my party of 10 at 5.30pm I am being told that I never booked a table and that I have not confirmed my booking and nobody called yesterday to confirm. I showed the manager (who introduced himself as the manager) my booking confirmation; which by the way was comfirmed via someones iphone ( should of known by then this restaurant was not professional) he said oh I'm not the manager, I'm just here to help out.. then why the hell are you talking to me if you can't help. He mentioned we have a party of 40 people you will have to wait over an hour to get your food, they quickly put together 2 tables by the door bearing in mind I have 2 babies in my party of 10. There is no customer service, no cutlery on the table, no menus. In the end we just walked out, there was no way in hell this restaurant was going to see a penny of my money. Stay away at all cost- do not waste your time and energy and go to a WELL established restaurant that have customer service and actually remembers you even have a booking.

Second visit, this time without the booking but service as always was great. Awesome cocktails, atmosphere and music 👌🏻

Shocked at the price. Underwhelmed by the juice. The service was OK, but the push to load up the app was unnecessary. I see no reason to come back.

Never been into the pub before. Met friends of ours there as it’s half way between our homes That was the best decision of all Lovely old building with low ceilings and loads of caricature The food was some of the best we’ve all had. I had a burger. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce and cheese etc My wife had the chicken and said it’s tastes amazing Our friends had the fish pie and the pasta. They both said it was really delicious We all had the bread and butter pudding and custard for dessert. Stunning. What made the place even better was the lady who was running it. Very bubbly, friendly and great to chat too. It was so refreshing to see someone who loved their job. The chef came out and said hello too. Was a nice touch. We will definitely be returning and would recommend it very highly

I booked a table for 18 people at to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrived at 1 pm, expecting to have lunch together, as I had clearly stated when making the reservation. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a disaster. Upon arrival, we were told to order through an app, but after trying for 30 minutes, the app kept saying they were too busy to accept orders. We had no choice but to go to the bar to order directly, where we were told the wait time for food would be at least an hour—despite it being peak lunchtime. After waiting patiently, one of our friends went back to the bar to place an order after confirming a new dish choice with his wife. When he returned to the bar just five minutes later, he was told that they were no longer accepting *any* orders at all, and that he would have to order through Deliveroo and have it delivered to the restaurant! This was at 1:30 pm, during peak lunchtime, for a group that had made a reservation specifically for lunch in the restaurant. To make matters worse, after waiting over an hour, we received below-average food that was overpriced and disappointing. This is absolutely unacceptable for a place that claims to cater to large groups and events. The lack of communication, delays, and poor service completely ruined what was meant to be a special celebration. If you’re planning a large event or want a decent meal in a timely manner, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I regret choosing this place for such an important occasion. ---

Nunca he escrito una reseña, pero me sentí obligado después de la experiencia de hoy. Llegamos a las 1140 am para encontrar la tienda cerrada. Se inauguró poco después; sin embargo, no valió la pena esperar. La máquina de hilo dental de caramelo no funcionaba, no hay baño en las instalaciones y la comida era asquerosa! Churros grasos, patatas fritas baratas, pero dejamos 48 libras en peor situación. ¡Evite a toda costa!

This spoons is never going to blow you away. It is great for the price of food and drink, especially when a match is on, the vibe is really good. The food is hit and miss, depending on how busy it is, and the waiting times on match days is atrocious. I am still puzzled why they do not bring in more when West Ham have a game. Lots of seating in and out, though again come early if match is on otherwise you will be standing. Only 3 toilets for the ladies which is poor but otherwise pretty standard spoons. Would recommend for West Ham fans.

Muy decepcionado. Fuimos a tomar croissant y cafés. El croissant era terrible y no es lo que espero por el precio. No crujiente, empapado y se reiría de él en Francia. El café era bueno, pero no hay asas en las tazas! Mis manos son muy sensibles al calor, así que quizás estén de moda pero no sean amigables con el cliente. ¿Quizás Gail se ha vuelto demasiado grande?

Booked a table online for 1pm, was waiting outside for ages before we got begrudgingly given a table which turned out to be extremely wobbley. Slow service, nothing came out together just at random. we ordered arancini balls which came out extremely burned we questioned this with the waitress Modesta who looked at us, then the food and literally walked away without saying anything, we then told this to the manager who just told us she was busy. absolutely dreadful service

Came here 27th Oct with my cousin for a coffee and cake....what an absolute rip off! Service was diabolical - dirty tables and clearly stressed out staff. £30 for a soft drink, coffee and 2 cakes. The black forest was absolutely tasteless! Clearly a venue meant to rip of the tourists. Stay away!

Visited this place on Saturday night and they were letting in groups of six not from same family’s. Groups of friends. The ladies toilet was disgusting sick in the sinks that had not been cleaned up so you couldn’t wash your hands as many people as you could get in the toilet. Management need to check on this establishment.

This place is embarrasing. I had a few drinks with friends and family. I went to the bar, and ordered a JD & Coke (My friend a pint of Stella), and now looking back this is where I feel I may have been spied on by CCTV cameras as when I got my drink at the bar, I was followed out to the front by two security guards who confiscated my drink (Why did they wait for me to buy one more drink), and told me to leave the premises as they saw me "swaying"?? I told them that i wasn't "swaying", and even if I was swaying, what do you expect if i'm in a pub being served alcohol? I wasn't loud, I wasn't being agressive to anypone, I was simply talking to my friend at an outside table. These aren't security guards, these are thugs who are simply people police who are abusing their SIA badge who should be looked into as they're tarnishing Tim Wetherspoons name. There is clearly a problem as: 1) This happened two years ago on my previous visit when we was out for my friends birthday, and we was told to leave for making too much noise, although we were only talking, and the rest of the pub was noisier. 2) There are hundreds of complaints on Trip Advisor, so this establishment clearly has problems, and not the very customers who keep this awful place going, however they won't have any customers left at this rate as i've told all my friends and family to stay well clear of this place, and will continue to do so until they get their house in order. I am currently in touch with my solicitor as it appears these inexperiened young security guards broke their own rules and policies, but for the Joe Public I recomend staying away from this place or you could find youself embarrisingly being thrown out of this establishment by these clowns.

the atmosphere is nice, it looks good from inside and outside. drinks menu is cool too i liked the food too even though i wanted a bit wider options.
